Story

We went to the shelter (a very good shelter) and there was Cutie Pie, 9 lbs 1.5 years old in 104 degree weather without water. BTW the people there were lovely, maybe a little over worked.Please note, Cutie Pie is Not a "tiny teacup purse dog" .He won't get any bigger but is 9.0 pounds.My husband and I are nearly 80 years old and Unfortunately I have arthritis, as does my husband, and we had no idea it would be difficult lifting and just bending over to feed a young dog.He is just the best little guy you could ever have. He is a pleaser, is pad trained, and very food oriented.We have taken him to our personal vet for additional vaccinations and a thorough checkup. He loves to cuddle and I have kept sweaters on him so he would not get cold. He is definitely an indoor dog, but loves to run and play.Above all he needs to be loved and cared for....such a good boy!

Very sweet once she gets to know you, but barks a lot to strangers. Can take a few days to a week to get used to a person. Never tired of walks. Had her since she was born with my family but situation has changed so im the sole owner now but im not financially responsible enough for her. Looking for a relaxed environment for her as she has low to mild anxiety. She’s approximately 13-15 years old. She wanders aimlessly and doesn’t play with toys. She’s a lap dog and will occasionally follow you throughout the house. She has missing teeth and tartar build up as well. This is an extremely difficult decision for me as I grew up with her but can’t provide her a good life anymore

We fostered him from his previous owner, who was moving, when he was still a young puppy. He is about 6 months old and is a Rottweiler - collie mix He is a very energetic, playful, curious, and intelligent young dog. He loves attention, toys, exploring, and being involved with whatever is going on around him. He has a lot of personality and is still very much in the puppy stage, so he would do best with someone who has the time and patience to continue his training and give him plenty of exercise and structure. We are looking for a loving, responsible home where he can get the attention, activity, and consistency he needs as he grows. Ideally, his new family would have experience with medium-to-large energetic dogs and understand that he is still young and learning.

Patch belonged to a close friend who originally rescued him as an abused puppy, and provided him with wonderful care. When Patch's owner recently passed away, our family took Patch in to foster until we can find him a safe, loving home. According to the vet, Patch is approximately 10 years old and looks to be an Australian Cattle Dog mixed with Pitbull, Border Collie & Corgi.We are seeking a caring person with experience handling dogs that exhibit anxiety. Patch gets along with other animals, but he repeatedly tries to herd our rescue cats into play. Because our cats find this distressing, I think Patch would thrive best in a cat-free home. I would describe Patch as quiet, playful. quirky, peaceful, gentle, sensitive, affectionate, and eager to please. He loves to interact and snuggle with all of us! Patch would be a best fit for someone with a yard for him to play in every day. He does not like to walk on a leash but he loves to run and twirl in the yard every day.
