Story
Nala is very sweet and tries hard to please. She has puppy energy that our older dog does not like. The older dog attacks Nala and so we feel she needs a home that lets her be a puppy. She is good with other dogs, it’s our older dog that is having the problems, it’s not fair for both of them.

Story
Cleo is a soulful, sensitive 3-year-old, 20 lb pup who’s come a long way since being rescued off the streets. Once a shy, unsure girl, she’s learning to trust strangers more and more and face the world with more joy. She bonds deeply to her person. Once you’re hers, she’ll shower you with cuddles + loyalty. She can be apprehensive around new people or dogs. She will let you know if there's something she doesn't like (like her tail being touched), so she still needs someone patient, consistent, and confident in setting boundaries as she continues to build better coping skills. Cleo would do best with someone experienced working with anxious or protective dogs. She could potentially live with another calm, non-confrontational dog—but a solo-dog home may be ideal to limit jealousy or resource guarding.

Story
Sandy is a wonderful dog who has been a cherished part of our family for the past five years. We adopted her when she was 10, and she has truly lived a happy, loving life. She is a senior dog but still very energetic—she loves people, especially kids, and enjoys running and going on walks. Sandy is house-trained and uses the restroom outside in the yard. She has no medical complications and maintains a healthy diet, though she does have some dental decay due to age. This is an incredibly difficult decision for us. Due to medical complications during my pregnancy, I’ve developed an allergic reaction to her saliva that has caused skin rashes requiring treatment, and I’m unfortunately no longer able to care for her. We love Sandy deeply and want nothing more than for her to go to a safe, loving home where she will continue to be cared for and cherished as she deserves.

Story
Hello, I’m looking for a kind and loving home for my dog Coco ❤️ Coco is a female Chihuahua mix, born on January 5, 2011. She is a senior dog, very quiet, gentle, and well-behaved. ✨ About Coco: • Calm and quiet temperament • Low activity needs • Loves simply being by your side Due to my current situation, I’m unable to continue caring for her, and I truly want to find someone who can give her a peaceful and loving home for her golden years. 🙏 Ideal adopter: • Patient and kind • Open to caring for a senior dog • Able to provide a stable, safe home This is a very difficult decision for me. I hope to find someone who will truly love her. Please message me if you’re interested or know someone who might be 🙏

Yorkie Poo

San Gabriel, CA
Size
(when grown) Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
Details
House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
He is a pure bred yorkie poo who is such a good boy. He is a very obedient dog that is house trained, will sit, stay, walk on a leash, and follow other basic commands. He is very easy going so he loves walks, hikes and being outside but will also be just as happy to stay home and relax most days. Teddy also has curly hair so he is hypoallergenic and does not shed fur. We would love to keep him if we could but our schedules make it unfair to him to keep him as a pet. He was attacked by another dog years ago so is not good with other animals or kids but will be an amazing pet to any other family who could give him a loving home that he deserves.

Good with kids, Good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
give and a gentle soul that truly shines once she bonds with her person. With her gorgeous coloring and affectionate nature, she’s the type of companion who becomes family very quickly. Layla is a social butterfly and gets along wonderfully with other dogs—especially those her size—and would love a canine buddy to run and play with. She has a good amount of energy and would thrive in an active home with a secure, fenced yard where she can stretch her legs and enjoy the outdoors. While she’s still working on perfecting her leash skills, she already knows some basic commands and is both house-trained and crate-trained. What really makes Layla special is her sensitivity and deep emotional awareness. She forms strong bonds with her humans and shows wonderful qualities of a therapy or support dog. Because of this, a home where someone works from home or is around often would be an ideal fit for her. Layla is about 5 years old, weighs around 50 pounds, is healthy, spayed, and fully vaccinated. She is not good with cats, so a cat-free home is a must. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will return your affection tenfold, Layla may be your perfect match. Please contact the rescue to set up a meet and greet with this wonderful girl at 626-483-6936 or via email hope4sweethomes@gmail.com
