Story

Rita is 3-4 years old. She has had a difficult life - she was born in Mexico and the only member of her litter to survive, at a young age almost died due to complications from IBD, and has fought through it to become a sweet and loving little girl. She was in the care of her original owner until a few months ago and has been in my care while waiting to find a forever home. She loves to snuggle and curl up next to any human. She loves walks and lying in the sun. She gets along well with other dogs, cats, and has been around little children without any issues. She has IBD that requires a special veterinary prescribed diet and medications and has complications related to this - will often have bouts of diarrhea and fecal urgency and needs to be let out to use the bathroom often. She is an anxious dog but warms up very quickly and is eager to learn, and gains confidence fast with positive reinforcement. She would do best in the care of someone who is home the majority of the time

Story

Showtime is a shelter rescue that is 3 years old. While at the shelter, he was a volunteer favorite. He is good with most dogs but not cats. His behavior with children is unknown. He loves toys, especially chew toys. Showtime needs a lot of stimulation like frequent walks which I’m unable to do because he pulls and is strong. He needs someone that is willing to train him to walk well. He is very alert, probably could be a search and rescue dog. I want Showtime to find his match so that he can thrive and live his best life!

Story

Sandy is a wonderful dog who has been a cherished part of our family for the past five years. We adopted her when she was 10, and she has truly lived a happy, loving life. She is a senior dog but still very energetic—she loves people, especially kids, and enjoys running and going on walks. Sandy is house-trained and uses the restroom outside in the yard. She has no medical complications and maintains a healthy diet, though she does have some dental decay due to age. This is an incredibly difficult decision for us. Due to medical complications during my pregnancy, I’ve developed an allergic reaction to her saliva that has caused skin rashes requiring treatment, and I’m unfortunately no longer able to care for her. We love Sandy deeply and want nothing more than for her to go to a safe, loving home where she will continue to be cared for and cherished as she deserves.

Mula is a 1 and a half year old female Labrador Pitbull mix who is spayed/ neutered, potty trained, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. She's very loving and playful, she's really good with kids and other dogs. She enjoys going to the parks and for walks, enjoys her chew toys and is very energetic. We are moving and need to rehome her.

Layla is a social butterfly and gets along wonderfully with other dogs—especially those her size—and would love a canine buddy to run and play with. She has a good amount of energy and would thrive in an active home with a secure, fenced yard where she can stretch her legs and enjoy the outdoors. While she’s still working on perfecting her leash skills, she already knows some basic commands and is both house-trained and crate-trained. What really makes Layla special is her sensitivity and deep emotional awareness. She forms strong bonds with her humans and shows wonderful qualities of a therapy or support dog. Because of this, a home where someone works from home or is around often would be an ideal fit for her. Layla is about 5 years old, weighs around 50 pounds, is healthy, spayed, and fully vaccinated. She is not good with cats, so a cat-free home is a must. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will return your affection tenfold, Layla may be your perfect match.
