Story

Loki was found in the snow of Iowa while our family was on vacation. We brought him to California on a 32 hour drive, so he great in the car. He’s been seen by a veterinarian and is aged at 5months old. He has very unique marking according to the vet. Loki learned how to sit and is working on shake paw, stay, and to walk on a leach. He takes baths but we are still working and his trust when cutting his nails. He is very motivated by treats. He is very smart and has learned his new skills rather quickly. He needs an owner that can give him lots of affection and time. He does not like to be alone. He has paired well with our other animals and prefers to be with our dog if no one is around. We are hoping to find a forever home that will give him the love that this snow puppy deserves.

Stella must be an only dog in the home with a capable strong human leader. Stella is about 6 years old, spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, and about 55 lbs. She is very petite. She is an absolute love with people. Her trainer will provide training for a potential adopter to ensure success in a new home. Stella loves her walks and sun bathing. Max is so handsome and a big love bug! ❤ He is fawn color with hazel eyes, 4 years old, about 75 pounds. He is a strong boy, super smart, makes great eye contact and wants to please. Friendly with other female dogs his size with proper introductions but would be best as the only dog in his own house so he gets all the attention. Max has received professional obedience and leash training. He would make a great addition to an active adult only household. Someone who works from home would be ideal. He loves daily walks and is a natural swimmer. He also loves just hanging out in the yard so a home with a fenced yard is a MUST. Max is house and crate trained. He is being fostered and trained in Riverside Co. Come meet this special handsome boy.

Story

Abby was just rescued from a high kill shelter because the shelter sent my rescue an email plea for her to be saved due to her being such a good dog and they could not extend her any longer. Abby had been at an overcrowded shelter since Oct 2023 and was a shelter/volunteer favorite. She was kenneled with multiple dogs and did well in the play yard with male dogs and submissive females her size. She is beautiful with a grey and white coat, medium size, what we call an "itty bitty pitty". She gives the sweetest kisses and will make a great addition to an active dog loving family. Abby has been thoroughly vetted and is spayed and micro-chipped. We are in search of a local foster or forever home for sweet Abby with a fenced secure yard and ideally someone who works from home or is retired. Luna is an absolute beauty, petite with a white coat with apricot markings on her back. She LOVES to play and run with other dogs and tends to be a follower. She will need an active lifestyle and fenced secure yard. Luna tends to be shy initially with strangers but then warms up quickly and gives kisses. She is super smart and learns easily. Luna adores children and would be a great fit for kids 10 yrs old and up. Easy to walk on a leash and crate and house trained. Luna is waiting to find her forever home to start the new year! Story

Wilma is a standout, a diamond in the "ruff"! She is beautiful, loving, playful, and super smart. Knows basic commands and just wants to please. She is very dog friendly and would make a great family member. Wilma rides well in the car, is house and crate trained, and has been fully vetted. We rescued her from a high kill shelter 2 months ago and she had been at the shelter since June after being found as a stray but managed to stay alive for 4 months because she was such a good dog and a volunteer favorite. It cannot be overstated how important it is to have at least a part-time dog trainer/behaviorist at the shelter to assess the dogs for rescue or adoption. Wilma was amazing in the play yard with all breeds of dogs as well as very people friendly. The trainer remarked on what good manners she had and how she would wait at the gate and greet each dog as they came out of their kennel into the yard. She can "read the room" and adjust her play style accordingly. Wilma is always happy to make new friends! Since leaving the shelter she has been fostered with my trainer at her ranch in Hesperia playing and socializing with all the dogs. True to form my trainer cannot say enough nice things about Wilma. She is PERFECT and needs to get into her own loving home where she belongs! Hopefully this profile will help her with that journey. Wilma is approx a 2 yr old, petite 60 lb shep mix, fully vetted with all vaccinations, spayed, and micro chipped.
