****NO ADOPTION FEE!!!!**** There is absolutely nothing wrong with Nellie Kate, but due to the fact that we need to make room for new fosters, adoptions are slow at the moment and Nellie Kate has been here a little longer than some, WE ARE NOT CHARGING AN ADOPTION FEE ON HER! You will still have to fill out an application and be approved though and if you live in the northern states that we adopt to, you will have to pay the $135 transport fee. NELLIE KATE – LAB/AUSTRALIAN SHEPHERD MIX – Email fogcarescue@gmail.com for more info and/or an application. This GORGEOUS girl will be a WONDERFUL family dog for some lucky family! She is a super sweet, friendly and happy girl. She loves people and she is especially fond of kids and seems to enjoy any personal attention that wish to lavish her with. She is great with other dogs and like most youngsters, she loves to run and play with them. I would say that her energy level is medium and she is playful, but she’s not so active that you can’t love on her. She’s a real love bug…she’ll even climb in your lap if you let her. She does pretty well on a leash and enjoys going on walks/hikes. Nellie Kate is looking for a great new family that will love her and include her in their everyday comings and goings. She is 1 ½ years old (dob 5/13/22) and weighs 48 pounds at the time of this posting 1/16/24. She has been spayed, 4DX heartworm tested, microchipped, fecal tested and is current on all vaccinations, worming and on heartworm and flea prevention. Nellie Kate is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted she will be transported to her pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the Northeast area every week and her fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine since we can’t adopt directly to residents of those states.

Story
I love this precious little lady! She showed up at a nice couple’s home and they asked us if we could take her into our rescue. A few weeks later I got to noticing that her waistline was getting a little bigger. On October 27th she graced us with 4 beautiful puppies. Haley was a terrific mother…she raised her puppies and now she’s ready for a great new life of her own. She is a super sweet, happy and good natured girl and she loves everybody. She is also pretty active and loves to play and have a big time, so she will require exercise. That being said, she will make a great hiking or running partner…she might even make an agility dog with some training. Although her pictures make her look big, she only weighs 40 pounds, which is a great size. Haley is 2 years old, has been spayed, microchipped, 4DX heartworm tested, fecal tested, current on all vaccinations, worming and on heartworm and flea prevention. Her adoption fee is $400. Haley is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted she will be transported to her pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the Northeast area every week and her fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine since we can’t adopt directly to those states.

Story
This adorable little boy is going to be so much fun! Since he’s still a youngster, he has quite a bit of energy and play in him and he really enjoys running around playing with his toys, the other foster pups and the kids. He is super sweet, very good natured and such a happy guy. My Grandkids have had a ball playing with him during his stay. They told me that Dipstick was not a nice name and I told them I named him that because his head is solid black and he looks like he had been dipped in oil. He’s a cutie pie for sure. There’s nothing he would love more than having an active family of his very own. Since he just showed up at someone’s house, we aren’t sure of his breeding but we think he is a Fox Terrier mix. He is 6 months old (dob 8/16/23) and weighs around 20 pounds at the time of this posting (2/21/24). He has been neutered, microchipped, fecal tested, current on all vaccinations, worming and on heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $400 Dipstick is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted he will be transported to his pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the Northeast area every week and his fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine since we can’t adopt directly to those states.

I love this precious little guy! He is absolutely stunning with his beautiful brown, tan and white shiny coat and his super sweet, happy, playful and very loveable personality. They get along great with other dogs & they are good with kids. They always have a big time playing with each other, but they aren’t so rambunctious that you can’t love on them. Hershey is the most friendly and outgoing pup in the bunch. He and his siblings were actually born here, so you could say that I’ve known them their whole life. Their Mom showed up at a nice couple’s home and they asked us if we could take her into our rescue. A few weeks later I noticed that her waistline was getting a little bigger. A few weeks later she graced us with 4 beautiful puppies. Their Mom is a small 35 pound Shepherd mix and from the looks of things, their Dad was a Lab. Hershey will make some lucky family a wonderful companion. He is 4 ½ months old (dob 10/27/23) and weighs around 28 pounds at the time of this posting (3/14/24). He has been neutered, microchipped, fecal tested, current on all vaccinations, worming and on heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $400. Hershey is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted he will be transported to his pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the Northeast area every week and his fee includes transportation.
