Story
This is "Goldie". Goldie is about 90% an English Bulldog and the rest maybe American Bully. She has all the characters of an English Bulldog. Goldie is about 5 years and 5 months old and weighs about 46 pounds. Goldie comes to us with a sad story. Goldie and 2 other dogs (not related) were left behind in an apartment because their owners had no means to take care of them any longer. Someone did take the dogs from the apartment but had no place of his own to go with them. So he was desperate to find a place for these dogs. This is where we came in. We took Goldie. The other 2 dogs were taken by another rescue. All 3 dogs were not starving and they were in good health. Goldie was a little confused at first, understandably so. She is doing much better. Goldie is a sweet dog and she even looks sweet! She is calm, she sits when told and she gives her paw when asked. Goldie is a very good dog. In fact, Goldie is a great dog! Goldie gets along with other dogs and it looks like she gets along with cats. In Goldie's new home, children must be 14 years old or older. You MUST own your own home. You MUST own your own condo. Absolutely no apartments. Goldie came to us already spayed. She went to our veterinarian and she got her shots and tested negative for heartworm. To adopt from us, you MUST have a veterinarian reference. We will not place any animal without a veterinarian reference. We get a veterinarian reference from your veterinarian which is a history of medical care administered by your veterinarian to your present or previous pet or pets. Please do not contact us if you cannot abide by our adoption rules. The adoption fee for Goldie is $100.00 if you are the perfect family with an excellent veterinarian reference. No credit cards. If you are interested in Goldie, please email us at feline55keeper@gmail.com. You can meet Goldie on Saturday at Petco located at 201 Union Street in Waterbury during our adoption hours from 12:00 to 3:00. Goldie will be looking for you! IT IS IMPORTANT THAT WE STRESS THAT IN ORDER TO ADOPT FROM US, YOU MUST HAVE A VETERINARIAN REFERENCE...NO EXCEPTIONS !

Story
Here is "Patches". Patches is a mixed breed (hound/lab mix). He is about 2 years and 1 month old and weighs about 50 pounds. Patches was abandoned near a pizza shop on Meriden Road in Waterbury. He was only a 4 month old puppy at the time. Patches is a great dog. He loves to run in the yard. Patches loves his crate! He comes with a brand new large crate. Patches would be better off in a home without cats because, when he sees a cat, he chases them! Patches would make a great family dog. In his new home, children must be 8 years old or older. Patches has been neutered, his shots are up to date, he tested negative for heartworm and he has been microchipped. You MUST own your own home preferably with a fenced in yard for Patches or Patches can be on a leash on a runner which we will supply. Absolutely no condos. Absolutely no apartments. To adopt from us, you MUST have a veterinarian reference in your own name. We will not place any animal without a veterinarian reference. We get a veterinarian reference from your veterinarian which is a history of medical care administered by your veterinarian to your present or previous pet or pets. Please do not contact us if you cannot abide by our adoption rules. The adoption fee for Patches is $350.00 firm. No credit cards. If you are interested in Patches, please email us at feline55keeper@gmail.com. Patches can be seen by appointment only. Story
♥ APPLY FOR COLBY ♥ I'm Colby Jack! I was born on November 20, 2020. Right now, I’m a big, loveable boy weighing in at 85lbs, and I happen to be a Pitbull mix! It’s been a bit of a tough time for me lately, as I am in need of a new home. This is not because of anything I’ve done; rather, it’s just life throwing me a curveball. It makes me a little sad since I’ve been with my family since I was just a tiny puppy, and they mean the world to me.   But enough about that—let’s focus on the happy things! I’m a super friendly guy with a heart full of love, especially for kids and even our furry feline friends. I thrive in a home filled with giggles and purrs! However, I do have to be honest and say that I’m not really a fan of having other dogs around. It’s really important for me to be the only doggo in the house so that I can be the center of attention!    Given the changes that have happened in my life, I think it’ll be best for me to take things slow when it comes to meeting new people or exploring new environments. My whole world is a little topsy-turvy right now, so having patience and understanding from my new family will really help me adjust. Trust me, I promise to reward your kindness with all the love and loyalty I have to offer!   Now, let’s talk about my absolute favorite things—swimming and water! I can’t get enough of it! Whether it’s splashing around in a pool or just enjoying a nice bath, I’m all in. Oh, and I have the cutest little rain boots that I wear when it’s wet outside—those are truly my favorite! They make me feel so adventurous and stylish!   I can’t wait to find my forever home where I can continue to spread joy and love. If you're looking for a big, friendly buddy to share your life with, I might just be the pup for you! Looking forward to meeting you soon!   ♥ APPLY FOR COLBY ♥ ##2403805##

APPLY FOR RUSSET   Hey there! I’m Russet, a heeler mix born on December 3rd. Right now, I tip the scales at about 5lbs, but I’ll grow into a medium-sized fella when I grow up. I’m scheduled for neutering soon, and I'm all set with my puppy vaccinations, deworming, and microchip.   I’m your typical puppy, full of energy! My favorite activities include frolicking, catching some Z's, and doing it all over again! I thrive on fun games that challenge my brain, and I’d be thrilled to explore the world on adventures with you!   I get along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and kids. I would absolutely adore a family who can spend quality time with me, teaching me everything from potty training to cool tricks! So what do you say? Would you like to make me a part of your family?   ADOPTION FEE: $663  ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:  Alteration, Microchip, Vaccines APPLICATION: Click here to apply IF YOU HAVE OWNED A PET IN THE LAST 10 YEARS, PLEASE CALL YOUR VET AHEAD OF TIME TO ALLOW RESCUES TO SPEAK TO THEM ##2634277##
