Story
Lady is a very special dog she is extremely affectionate but very excitable loves walks loves the dog park loves attention loves her bones loves her treats but she needs someone who can devote time to her outdoors and indoor due to a health issue with our elderly father she's not thriving in our home and we don't want to see her suffer without the attention and the love and the outdoor activities that she deserves and so much more. She is ok with kids but prefers to be the center of attention. She is picky when it comes to being around other dogs. She does does not like cats or small dogs. Lady is not a full bred Pittie. She will love on you and protect you like her own family if you treat her right and love her. She loves to eat cooked butternut squash and pumpkin. She loves her raw bones with peanut butter. She loves to play. Lady was a rescue when I got her about 3 years ago. I love her so much but due to my current situation I must re-home her.

Story
Meet Reese 🍫🐾 If you have ever wished for a tiny dog who believes with his whole heart that he belongs directly in your lap, please allow us to introduce Reese. Reese is an approximately 2 year old Min Pin mix, about 14 pounds of pure affection. He is a former Dog Pound pup who is now ready to find his forever home and his forever lap. Reese is up to date on vaccinations, 4DX negative, and will be having his “Reese’s Puffs”; removed next week. After that, he will be officially cleared for adoption. He is dog friendly with careful introductions and seems to prefer other small dogs. To set him up for success, Reese should be fed separately from other dogs in the home. Fair enough, some of us take our snacks very seriously too. With people, Reese is an absolute love bug. He adores humans of all shapes and sizes and would happily spend his days being held, cuddled, and reminded that he is perfect. Personal space is optional in Reese’s world.

Story
Steel is a great dog who loves attention. He loves chew toys and his biggest bad habit would be to eat kids socks LOL. He’s great with kids and I went all the way to California to get him. I just don’t have the time for him anymore as I used to be on the road and brought him with me but I’m not anymore also have a new baby so things have just gotten a bit hectic for me and I have lacked in his attention needs.

Story
This is "Goldie". Goldie is about 90% an English Bulldog and the rest maybe American Bully. She has all the characters of an English Bulldog. Goldie is about 5 years and 4 months old and weighs about 46 pounds. Goldie comes to us with a sad story. Goldie and 2 other dogs (not related) were left behind in an apartment because their owners had no means to take care of them any longer. Someone did take the dogs from the apartment but had no place of his own to go with them. So he was desperate to find a place for these dogs. This is where we came in. We took Goldie. The other 2 dogs were taken by another rescue. All 3 dogs were not starving and they were in good health. Goldie was a little confused at first, understandably so. She is doing much better. Goldie is a sweet dog and she even looks sweet! She is calm, she sits when told and she gives her paw when asked. Goldie is a very good dog. In fact, Goldie is a great dog! Goldie gets along with other dogs and it looks like she gets along with cats. In Goldie's new home, children must be 14 years old or older. You MUST own your own home. You MUST own your own condo. Absolutely no apartments. Goldie came to us already spayed. She went to our veterinarian and she got her shots and tested negative for heartworm. To adopt from us, you MUST have a veterinarian reference. We will not place any animal without a veterinarian reference. We get a veterinarian reference from your veterinarian which is a history of medical care administered by your veterinarian to your present or previous pet or pets. Please do not contact us if you cannot abide by our adoption rules. The adoption fee for Goldie is $100.00 if you are the perfect family with an excellent veterinarian reference. No credit cards. If you are interested in Goldie, please email us at feline55keeper@gmail.com. You can meet Goldie on Saturday at Petco located at 201 Union Street in Waterbury during our adoption hours from 12:00 to 3:00. Goldie will be looking for you! IT IS IMPORTANT THAT WE STRESS THAT IN ORDER TO ADOPT FROM US, YOU MUST HAVE A VETERINARIAN REFERENCE...NO EXCEPTIONS !
