Story
Brady's story could have ended very differently. He was found abandoned on the side of a country road in Guadalupe County, where two compassionate women rescued him and brought him to Good Catch. When he arrived, he needed good food, veterinary care, and, most of all, kindness. Today, just a month later, Brady has blossomed into a healthy, happy, fully vetted young dog who's ready to find the family he deserves. We believe Brady is a Border Collie mix, though we're waiting on his Wisdom Panel DNA results. At just 35 pounds and 11 months old, he's the perfect medium size and isn't expected to grow much beyond 40 pounds. Brady is one of those dogs who seems to fit in wherever he goes. He's gentle, easygoing, and wonderfully balanced. Whether he's spending time with senior dogs, playful puppies, or dogs his own age, he reads the room and adjusts beautifully. He's smart, eager to learn, and picked up crate training on his very first day. He's fully housetrained, walks nicely on a leash, and has excellent manners around the house. His foster reports that he has never destroyed anything, even when left out of his crate. He enjoys toys, chew bones, tasty treats, and a good play sessionbut he's just as happy curling up beside you for an afternoon nap. Brady would love a home with a yard where he can stretch his legs. He's done well meeting older children and continues to gain confidence with new people when they're patient and calm. He thinks the cats and cows on the other side of the fence are worth barking at, so we'd recommend a cat-free home. (The cows don't seem to mind.) He's affectionate without being demanding, calm indoors, and will happily let you know when someone is at the door. At the end of the day, Brady is simply an easy dog to loveand the kind of companion who settles right into your heart. Brady is neutered, fully vaccinated (rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetella), current on flea and tick prevention with Bravecto, and protected with a 12-month ProHeart injection for heartworm prevention. He will also receive a health certificate from our veterinarian before transport. If you're looking for a loyal best friend with great manners, a sweet personality, and the perfect size for almost any home, Brady just might be your good catch. For out-of-state adopters, Brady can travel safely with one of our trusted transport partners. We adopt to multiple states to help each dog find the perfect forever home.

Story
Leo's journey began when he, his two brothers, and their mom, Sunny, were discovered abandoned in a crate along a remote road. Thankfully, a kind-hearted Good Samaritan stepped in and reached out for help, giving this little family a second chance at life. Born on 3/8/26, Leo is thriving and ready to find a forever home of his own. He currently weighs 20 pounds. DNA testing from one of his brothers revealed that mom is a Chihuahua/Poodle mix, while dad was an Australian Shepherd/Shepherd mix. Based on his current size and growth, we expect Leo to mature to approximately 25–30 pounds. Leo is a happy-go-lucky puppy with a playful, adventurous spirit. He loves romping around with his brothers and is often one of the first to invite the bigger dogs to play. Whether he's chasing toys, exploring the yard, or showing off his zoomies, Leo approaches life with enthusiasm and joy. Because he's still a young puppy, Leo is looking for a family committed to providing the training, guidance, and enrichment he needs to grow into a well-rounded adult dog. He would do best in a home with children who are old enough to respectfully interact with a puppy. A fenced yard would be ideal, as Leo loves spending time outdoors and burning off his puppy energy. Leo currently enjoys keeping an eye on the barn cats and lets them know he's there with a bark or two, so a home without cats may be the best fit. He could thrive as an only dog with a family that can devote plenty of time and attention to him, or with another friendly dog who would enjoy having an energetic young companion. Leo is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, and receiving flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Puppies in our care who are 6 months of age or older are spayed or neutered through Good Catch. For younger puppies, this responsibility falls to the adopter. Based in Texas, we adopt to multiple states and work with trusted transport partners to safely bring our dogs to their forever homes. Our priority is always finding the very best match for each puppy. If you're looking for a smart, playful, affectionate companion to share life's adventures, Leo may be the perfect addition to your family. Story
Aster and her five siblings were born to their mother, Gloria, on March 25th in a shelter near our rescue. At just 3 days old, they came into our care, where they’ve spent the last 8+ weeks growing, thriving, and preparing for their forever homes. Aster is a gentle, quiet girl with a thoughtful personality. She’s very observant and prefers to hang back for a moment to see what her braver siblings think before trying something new herself. Once she feels comfortable, though, she happily seeks out attention and affection. She’s especially sweet and polite when taking treats. Because Aster seems to enjoy a calmer environment, we feel she would do best in a home with children over 6 years old or in a more peaceful setting. Here at Good Catch, she’s settled into a wonderful routine, starting her mornings bright and early with her siblings, followed by a full day of playtime, naps and puppy antics before bedtime around 9 PM. We expect Aster to grow to around the size of her mama, Gloria, who weighs approximately 65 pounds. She has a thick, beautiful coat and will likely do very well in cooler climates. You can also see her brother Otis’s DNA results in the photos above for a better idea of the litter’s breed makeup. At nearly 9 weeks old, Aster’s personality is still developing, but we can already picture her becoming an incredible companion and future hiking partner once she’s fully grown. Aster is up to date on her vaccinations, on flea, tick and heartworm prevention, microchipped and has been on a deworming schedule since she was 2 weeks old. She and her siblings currently enjoy Purina Pro Plan puppy kibble and never turn down a good puppy snack! We are based in Texas but adopt to multiple states. Our goal is always to find the very best match for each pup, and we work with trusted transport partners to safely deliver them to their forever homes. Puppies in our care who are 6 months or older are spayed or neutered through Good Catch; for younger puppies, this responsibility falls to the adopter.
