Story
adoption donation : $699 weight  34 lbs  Age 9 months as of 3/15          Everyone adores Cee Cee! She is just the sweetest, most gentle girl, she lives in a family with other dogs and small kids and is just a cuddly love bug with everyone! Ceci was found abandoned in a rural part of Mississippi last fall, her luck change when she was rescued by Wags. She’s been spayed and given her vaccines and is a healthy happy girl.   Recently Cee Cee moved over to a foster home, she was a little nervous at first but has settled in beautifully. She is very mellow and will make the most awesome family dog,    Cee Cee is still in Mississippi but ready to come up on our transport truck any Saturday. We’d love a home for her with a family that will cherish her and give her the love and attention she deserves.   She will be great in a home with other dogs and cats, fine if she’s the only one. Whatever the circumstances, Cee Cee will make a wonderful addition to the family.    Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs.  Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter. Story
adoption donation : $699 weight 25 lbs Age 4 months as of 3/20        Hattie is an adorable puppy who is a happy & healthy girl, along with her  sisters and brother she is having a grand time in her foster home, romping and playing at Wags and joining her siblings snuggling into a big puppy pile to nap.    The puppies were found by a truck driver in a rural  part of Mississippi, abandoned in a deserted field. Two of the siblings had already sadly passed away. The driver gathered up the remaining pups and brought them to Wags.  Since then, the three girls and one boy have thrived, getting the vet care, food and vaccines that they need. They are friendly and loving and will make great family dogs.    Hattie is currently in Mississippi and is scheduled for a spay soon. She would love to board the transport anytime in the next couple of weeks and head to the northeast! She is ready to give sloppy kisses to the lucky family who adopts her.     Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs.  Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Story
Age 2 years Weight 26 lbs Adoption donation $699     Megan is the sweetest! She just arrived on Saturday, April 12 at her newfoster home in the northeast and she is absolutely charmed everyone,  her Foster Mom is in love! Megan gets along with everyone, she’s great with the other dogs, she’s buddies with the cats, she is sweet and affectionate, she’s just pretty much perfect! &#226&#128&#139   Megan has a rather interesting background, she was owned by a female truck driver in Mississippi who took her with her on trips all over the country. But sadly, the woman fell on hard times and gave up Megan and several other dogs.  But Megan hit the jackpot coming to Wags, she was vetted and giving her vaccinations and spayed and just arrived in the northeast at her foster home where she acts like she’s been there forever. On her first night, she just scrambled into bed with her Foster Mom and stuck her head on her shoulder and went right to sleep.   Megan is really the quintessential family dog, she doesn’t have a drop of aggression. She will make a wonderful addition to the lucky family who adopts her.    Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 200 homeless and stray dogs. Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter. Most of our dogs are in Mississippi and come up by Transport, dogs are listed along the Transport route or in an area where we may have volunteers who can help transport the dogs. We do have some of our dogs in foster homes in the northeast, we always need foster homes! Story
adoption donation : $599 weight 44 lbs Age 5 months as of 3/18           Sweet Freya and her three sisters, Schatzi, Gretel and Eva, were left in the driveway at the Wags rescue in Mississippi, an all too common occurrence.      We are not sure of their mix, at first we thought they were German Shepherd mixes, thus the German names! But some seem to have black mouth cur in them, Shatzi  is all tan with a black muzzle, and sweet Eva looks like she has some heeler in her.     We do know that the puppies are a delight— they have been having a grand time playing together at the rescue and then snuggling in a big puppy pile to nap. All the girls have all been spayed and given their vaccines and are ready for loving homes. They are around 35 pounds, they were born in mid October. They are friendly and loving and will make great family dogs.    Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs.  Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Story
Age 2 years Weight 39 lbs Adoption donation $599 June is the sweetest, most mellow dog, she loves everyone she meets and gets along great all dogs and cats. She is gentle with children, she just loves to be with her people. Her foster mom says she will give kisses for days! June was found as a stray  in a rural  part of Mississippi and taken in by Wags. She immediately made herself at home, running and playing with all the dogs. June came up to a foster home in the northeast recently and has charmed everyone. She loves toys and bones and is a smart girl, she has learned some commands, she can sit, stay,  lay down, give paw and she will wait to eat until she is told she can. June is very food motivated, but watch out, she is a table surfer! June still have some puppy like qualities, she will jump up when she gets excited and pulls a bit on the leash, but is a smart girl and can learn with a little more training. When she first came, June had some separation anxiety, but she has gotten a lot better. We’d love a home for June with a family with children or other dogs or just anyone who is around a lot, she just loves to be with her people!     June is really the quintessential family dog, you never have to worry, she doesn’t have a drop of aggression. She’s just all sweetness.
