Story
This sweet girl has raised her puppies and is finally ready for a life that’s all about her. Her days of motherhood are behind her, and now it’s time for fun, adventures, and being spoiled like the baby she deserves to be. She loves going on walks and does great on a leash, making her the perfect companion for someone who enjoys getting out and about. She also kennels nicely in the car, so she’s ready to tag along wherever the road leads. All she wants now is a family to love her, take her on adventures, and remind her that the best part of life is still ahead. 🐾💛 He/she is hw ( heartworm) negative, fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Tish – Our Tasty Little Dish 💕 Tish is as sweet as her name! She’s currently living with a male and has been introduced to females in a group setting — and she passed with flying colors. No signs of mouthing at all, just a well-mannered girl who enjoys being part of the fun. More than anything, Tish simply loves being near her people. Whether it’s a stroll around the neighborhood or relaxing at home, she’s happiest right by your side. If you’re looking for a loving companion with a little extra bounce in her step, Tish is your girl. 💗 He/she is hw ( heartworm) negative, fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Story
Meet Mystic, Mystic’s story started in the most unexpected way… She wandered into a gas station parking lot, quietly climbed into an open car, and curled up in the driver’s seat like she had finally found a place to rest. When I returned, she looked up—exhausted, ribs showing, and gently lowered her head as if to say, “please don’t make me leave.” Of course, she didn’t have to. Since that day, Mystic has been given the care she deserved—good meals, vetting, heartworm treatment, and she’s now spayed. And what a transformation it’s been. You can see she feels better… she’s just still waiting for that final piece—a home of her own. Mystic is: 🐾 Wonderful with other dogs 🐾 Gentle and quiet (not a barker) 🐾 Sweet-natured—she even lets others eat first 🐾 So deserving of love and comfort She hasn’t quite smiled yet… but you can tell it’s coming. Maybe you could be the one to see it first 💕 Mystic is ready for her second chance. All she needs now is someone willing to give her the life she’s been waiting for. Won’t you give Mystic that chance? 🐶💜 Mystic is hw ( heartworm) negative, fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Please fill out an application at www.northboundrescue.com

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Cruz was saved from a high-kill shelter in Calfornia and arrived at Give a Dog a Home Rescue in Sebec, Maine on Wednesday 3rd August. We post our available dogs in states across the East Coast and Canada to reach as many people as possible in hopes of finding perfect homes and families. We do not transport dogs — families must come to the rescue in Sebec, Maine to meet and, hopefully, take home their new best friend. Health & Background ✅ Neutered ✅ Rabies and core vaccines up to date ✅ On monthly flea/tick preventatives ✅ Microchipped ⚖️ Weight: 60-70 pounds Estimated DoB: 13 February 2025 Give a Dog a Home Rescue suffered a devastating fire on 20 January 2026 losing the house and operations center of the rescue. Fortunately the kennel building was not affected by the fire, however, access to water and septic was lost making the kennels not useable. Many people stepped up to foster and a boarding and day care kennels in Bangor also reached out to offer to take some dogs and they took Cruz and his girl riends Clara Belle and Ryder Girl. They have been at the boarding kennels since the end of January and have been doing great, the staff love having them saying they are wonderful and sweet, they have met children and have been great around them, they are well mannered and ride great in the car. CRUZ is a sweet love bug, he has so much affection, he loves to wrestle and chase with his friends and then snuggle up or hang out when they need to recharge their batteries. He loves everyone he meets and would be very responsive to training. With an active family he would thrive.
