Story
Meet Logan, an adult (approx. 5.5 years old) male Min Pin, weighing about 25 lbs! Logan came to us as a local CT surrender who was relinquished to PRL when his owner was no longer able to care for him. From Logan's foster:  "Logan is very independent, has a high prey drive (loves squeakers), loves to dig (including under fences), is very agile (can clear 2ft fences), cuddles on his terms, but also demands lap time fairly often.  He is mostly submissive to my dogs, and overall is indifferent to them, though sometimes will engage in play.  My favorite thing he does it walk up to me and push his face into me for affection.   Logan can be possessive of things that are considered a “high value treat”, so he would not be suitable for a home with young children. I think he’d be comfortable in a house by himself, or with other, more submissive dogs.  He was fine with my cat. The perfect owner for Logan would need to treat him with the patience and respect he deserves, and a lot of reward will come from that." Logan is medically up to date, housebroken, and crate trained. He is awaiting a neuter appointment. Apply to meet this special pup today! Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2758369##

Siberian Husky Husky

Story
Meet Jackson, a handsome adult (estimated age 4-7 years old) neutered male husky who is every bit as sweet as he looks! This boy weighs about 53 lbs (his fur makes him look bigger than he is!). Jackson has been in his New England foster home since October 2025, and we can't for the LIFE of us figure out why this amazing boy has not been adopted yet.   Jackson is a very sweet, friendly boy who loves his people and enjoys making new friends - human and canine alike! He loves kids, but we recommend older kids 8+ or dog savvy kids, as he may unintentionally knock over a small child. He has not been cat tested, so we are unsure how he would do with cats. Jackson can do a 1 week foster to adopt trial with an approved adopter so you can see how he settles in before committing to adoption. From Jackson's current foster:  "Jackson is a super nice, clean boy with flawless house manners. He has had no accidents and is not destructive at all. He's actually quite calm and extremely affectionate. His loving nature sets him apart -- he makes himself available for hugs and petting. He's been wonderful with the neighborhood children. Everyone is his friend. He's a sweet deserving dog who is going to make someone very happy." He is medically up to date, housebroken (both his current and prior foster report that he has not had a single accident in the house!), and crate trained. Apply to meet this good boy today!  Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable.
