Story
Hello! This is Kori. She is 5 yrs old. An sweet energetic girl. She loves people and is also very affectionate. Kori came to me as a boarding and daycare client however her previous owners went through some life changes and couldnt keep her. They were considering giving her to the shelter however I didn't think she would do well in that environment. She does get nervous in new noisy places so i decided to foster. I run a boarding business so shes been around all size dogs. She does well with male dogs. Other females take some warming up to but in time she's ready to play. She has been around small children via her previous home and loves children. She does know the basics (Sit, Stay, Down etc.) She is house and crate trained as well. She is an free adoption. She is coming with everything needed (Beds, Crate, food). I am also offering to help pay 50% towards training to help her transition into her new home. Kori is such a good dog. She would make a great addition to the family.

Story
Sammy will be 5 yrs old in March 2026. He is healthy and lovable. He is very friendly to nearly all dogs and people. Sometimes he barks and tries to lunge at passers-by, quickly moving children, and cyclists when behind a fence or on a leash. When Sammy was 18 months old, his owner left him at a shelter in southern Virginia. I adopted him a few weeks later and found out he has separation anxiety. If I leave him in the house, for more than about 5 minutes, he barks, yowls, and cries piteously and continually. I can leave him at a kennel where he is quiet and anxious. If I leave him with a family member, he hides and will not eat or drink for hours. I have tried prozac, gabapentin, and trazadone to no effect. I did desensitization training with a dog behavior specialist but Sammy didn't learn to settle. The ideal owner would be someone who has already helped an anxious dog and wants the challenge of helping Sammy. It would help if there were other dogs at home.

Story
Hello, I am looking to rehome my 9 year old staffordshire terrier mix, Bryson. Hes about 40 lbs, shmedium sized dog. He’s a sweetheart, good with kitties and other dogs. Is not a biter unless it’s a toy lol. Very energetic and playful, definitely has allergies. He is neutered, up to date on all his shots, and I have the vet papers for him. Would love if he could go to a family with a backyard and kids. I have a kennel, his beds, some food for reference, his toys, grooming kit, leash and harness and poop bags, and first aid kit to go with him to a family that can take care of him.

Story
Tina is a lovely little dog that found her way into our household by way of a roadside rescue. We found her running along a busy intersection and caught her, expecting to find her family in a day or two. After a couple of weeks of posting signs around the neighborhood and posting online, we had no luck in finding the family and, as it turns out, she was not house trained, leash trained or spayed. It seems that she was a stray and we were now her fosters. She was easy enough to keep around and got along with our other two dogs really well so she made herself home at home for a few months. During this time we house trained her, got her shots up-to-date, and recently had her spayed. Shes a lot of fun. Plays with our dogs and loves kids. She would be a great addition to any family. The adoption fee is flexible, a pay what you can fee. We are just looking to share some of the costs that we put into getting her ready for adoption, especially the spay surgery and vaccines.
