Sunny is a handsome neutered Husky mix born 1/25/2024. He is beautifully marked and has one sky blue eye and one golden brown. He is house trained, walks on a leash, is not destructive to anything in the house, and loves car rides. This athlete can get out of a 12 ft fenced in yard if he’s motivated by what looks to be a party. This includes children (loves them), adults, ice cream, or anything that looks like fun! Therefore, he needs to be walked on a leash and not trusted to remain in a yard. He has a lot of personality and Foster Mom reports he can say “I love you”, “Walmart” and a couple of other things. The most important thing is that he believes he’s communicating with you, so just go with it! Sunny is up to date on health care. Adoption fee $50. Pepsi is a neutered Treeing Walker Coonhound mix born on 10/30/23. He is a 65 lb bundle of love with the most beautiful hazel eyes. He's playful, affectionate, friendly, laid back and loves his toys. He likes to play with dogs his size or bigger after a proper introduction to a new companion. He loves the AC and sitting on the couch or bed watching TV. He can jump a 4 ft fence to be with his foster friends so proper containment should be high enough and reinforced at the bottom. He likes to go for car rides and loves to snuggle up with his doggie friends. Pepsi is potty trained, crate trained, and doggie door trained. He's doing well with leash training, still pulls like a typical hound puppy so needs some help walking on leash. Pepsi loves his family time and wants to be your best friend forever! Millie is a sweet female German Shepherd mix born about August, 2024. She’s a really good girl, and has many, many wonderful traits. She is fully house trained, and lets you know when she needs to go outside. She is crate trained, leash trained, and easy to groom. She is very gentle around food, and is never assertive or aggressive about anything. Millie is friendly with larger dogs, unknown with small dogs and cats. She loves bones, but doesn’t understand toys—that will be a fun thing to teach her! Loves car rides. Millie is being treated for heartworm, and comes with the rest of the medicine to finish treatment. She’s perfectly happy and healthy and on her way to being heartworm free. Batman is a male Mountain Feist/Fox Terrier mix, born about April 2025. He is sweet and loves people. Batman is neutered, healthy, and quite an easy, agreeable young man. He walks on a leash, is happy in his crate for sleeping, and is potty trained with only some basic support in his new home. He knows how to sit and wait politely for his meals. He’s a very cute, medium sized guy, who is an uncomplicated, issue-free dog well loved and cared for in his foster home. Batman is very ready to join a new home and be someone’s dog of a lifetime. Lucy is a spayed female Terrier mix born about January 2025. She’s very lovely, she looks like she knows how to apply eyeliner around her expressive eyes! She loves her people and gets along with other animals. Lucy is house trained and likes to walk on a leash, still learning not to pull. She’s enthusiastic about life, so she just needs more time and experience leash walking. Lucy is a sweet dog and is only being re-homed due to some challenging circumstances for her former family which made them unable to care for her. Little Man is believed to be a Black Mouth Cur/German Shepherd mix born about January, 2025. He is very attached to his foster family. He prefers to sleep on their bed or on a dog bed right beside them. Black Mouth Curs are believed to be the inspiration behind “Old Yeller”. Little Man gets along with all other dogs, cats and is safe with children. He is leash trained and house trained, a very good dog. Interestingly, he was a stray in a neighborhood, but unlike some strays, was liked and cared for by people. They left out food and water for him, and he never did anything wrong—no digging, chewing, barking, or other disruptive behavior. Our rescue took him in to find him a home because we were concerned about him getting hit by a car on the busy road. Also, because this sweet boy needs a warm place to sleep in the winter, and people of his own to fully bond with. Little Man is neutered and has been brought up to date on all vaccines and health care. Adopt your own piece of the Old South and see how intelligent, people-oriented and loving this mix can be. $50.
