She has been a sweet, loyal companion for years and has the gentlest temperament. Due to recent financial changes, we can’t provide the medical care she deserves. She would thrive in a quiet, loving home that can give her consistent attention and support.

Story
If you are interested in adopting King, please contact dogs@lostdogrescue.org Hi! I'm King. I am loving, loyal, and - ok, you made me say it - very handsome. Oh, and did I mention that I am looking for a best friend to adopt me? I like leash walks, especially in calm and quiet spaces where we can spend some quality time together without the crowds. But, I may get distracted by all of the wonderful smells because I really do need to put my nose on everything to explore the wonders of the world. Not only am I curious, I am up for a challenge! I like to run across streams, jump on logs, and hike the trails. I have lots of energy so will be sure to help keep up with your exercise plan. I even like to get in a jog from time to time. And, not to brag, but I am pretty smart. But, for the sake of all those delicious treats, I will pretend that it takes me time to master new tricks and skills. One more thing to tell you. I like to talk when I play. I hope you will come to meet me so we can play together forever, just you and me!

To learn more about Marble please get in touch with dogs@lostdogrescue.org Meet Marble — a joyful, wiggly ray of sunshine who’s guaranteed to make you smile every single day! From the moment she wakes up, Marble is bursting with happiness. Her tail never stops wagging, and she greets you with a toy (or two… or three!) proudly clutched in her mouth — it might be a squeaky, a shoe, or whatever she can find to show you just how excited she is to see you. Marble is the perfect blend of playful energy and snuggly sweetness. She’s always up for backyard zoomies, neighborhood strolls, or curling up beside you for a cozy cuddle session. She’s housebroken, knows how to sit and stay, and is learning crate training like a champ. Whether she’s your loyal shadow or snoozing peacefully while you’re out, Marble’s heart is always with her people. She absolutely adores attention and would thrive as an only dog or with canine siblings who are happy to let her take the lead — she’s a confident girl who shines when she’s queen of the castle. In her foster home, she plays a spirited game of chase with her sister and brings joy to everyone around her. If you’re an experienced dog owner looking for a dog who radiates love and laughter, Marble is the girl for you!

Visit our event page (https://www.lostdogrescue.org/events/) to see which one—event listings are usually updated on Fridays with attending dogs. Meet Elton, the radiant little rockstar named after the one-and-only Elton John! To learn more about Wes, please get in touch with dogs@lostdogrescue.org Wes will be at one of our adoption events this weekend! Visit our event page (https://www.lostdogrescue.org/events/) to see which one—event listings are usually updated on Fridays with attending dogs. Wes is an affectionate, intelligent, and eager-to-please young dog who has made a fantastic impression while in our care. He’s a devoted shadow and snuggle buddy, reportedly house trained, and great at communicating when he needs to go outside. His leash manners are stellar—he stays close, hardly pulls, and loves exploring the world through sniffing. Wes is also highly trainable, responding quickly to cues like “sit,” “no,” and “ah-ah,” and he allowed gentle handling of his paws, ears, and face. Playful and curious, Wes adores tug, fetch, and zooming around with his toys. He’s been friendly with confident cats, has enjoyed the company of other dogs, and would thrive in a home with canine companions or an active human who loves outdoor adventures. Despite his excitement about other animals, he listens beautifully on walks and focuses readily on his person, even around distractions. Wes is loving, funny, and wonderfully connected to his humans—an ideal match for both experienced dog owners and enthusiastic first-timers. Whether you have other friendly pets or are looking for a one-and-only adventure buddy, Wes is ready to warm your feet, brighten your days, and shower you with affection. He’s the whole package and can’t wait to make someone very happy!
