Story
Hi! My name is Frankie and I’m a 4 month old pitbull puppy and I lived most of my life in a small tiny cage until my foster mom came to rescue me! I was so sad and now I’m having the best time of my life! I love to play, give kisses, cuddles and play some more! I love other dogs and I love cats too! I love to go walk walks and I love the beach. I haven’t gone hiking yet but I think that will be one of my favorite things to do. Can I be apart of your life forever!? I live in VA beach and will drive to get Frankie to his forever home. Story
I become a new mom in Dec and I am not confident in my ability to give him the attention and care he deserves with my little one. Zeus may be epileptic but has not been officially diagnosed. The vet told us he is fine for now since they only happen once a year & we’ve been able to manage without medication since he was 3 y.o. I love this pup so much I am willing to continue paying his pet Insurance (I have an unlimited plan) He’s a really easy pup to have. He loves naps, cuddles, treats, walks to smell grass, gets along well with other dogs, & shows no signs of aggression. He does have a touch a separation anxiety which made it impossible (for me) to crate train so I pretty much had to train him to my home when I first adopted him myself. He’s really smart & should have no trouble training him to fit your needs. He would need an experienced adopter to fit his needs but I promise you’d fall in love quickly. My ONLY hope for him is go to another loving family that won’t surrender him.

Story
Meet Chelsea! She came to Laila's Legacy from a local shelter, where she was a team favorite. Not only was she the sweetest pup, easy on leash, but also their go to dog tester for their big dogs! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS ABOUT ME: When Chelsea arrived she spent the first few weeks/months living in foster and *loved* her foster brother. He might have been much bigger than he was but that didn't stop them from rough-housing! Chelsea loves to soak up the attention from the adults in the home, and as a result prefers not to have too many guests or other people in the home to take away from that attention! Laila's Legacy put Chelsea through a full training program to help her learn to navigate life, build confidence, and seek direction from her humans. ATTRIBUTES: Chelsea does well with dogs, but should not go to a home with cats due to her prey drive or with kids as they are overwhelming to her. -------------- Laila's Legacy Animal Rescue does not guarantee that any dog is housebroken nor crate trained. We strive to provide accurate information on all of our animals however, we are unable to guarantee an animal's breed, size, health, behavior, temperament, or any other conditions. TO ADOPT OR FOSTER: Please apply on our website at www.lailaslegacyanimalrescue.org or email info@lailaslegacyanimalrescue.org if you have questions! Story
Winter has come.... in search of her forever home that is! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS ABOUT ME: Winter is a sweet, smart and friendly dog! She can be a bit shy upon initially meeting new people, but she quickly warms up to people and starts licking them to show affection. While her confidence primarily comes from having a confident resident dog in the home to show her the ropes, she loves her humans once she gets to know you! Those who have met her describe her as friendly, sweet, well-behaved, gentle, and of course beautiful! Her ears are always up but move around like little radar antennas - it's her way of keeping track of her humans and doggie friends. Winter has lived with both small and large dogs, is playful, and enjoys toys or playing fetch. Winter is also living with cats! She knows "sit" and is working on "stay" and "down". Winter's favorite way to spend her day is running around in the yard until she's so tired that she naps for hours. She loves playing tug-of-war with her humans or other dogs, is also an expert at fetch, and is very gentle with her toys. Winter's favorite place is beside her human and animal friends. Her second favorite spot is her crate. She is super easy to crate and naps whenever her fosters are out of the home. She also enjoys napping in her crate all on her own! She is currently in foster care and doing very well with crate and house training. She is looking forward to continuing to learn new skills in her forever home. While Winter can be a little shy when first meeting someone, she's your lifelong best friend when she gets to know you! ATTRIBUTES: Winter requires a confident resident dog in her forever home to help her learn to be a dog. Winter is weary of kids so she also needs a home without children 12 years old and younger. Winter is currently in foster with cats! -------------- Laila's Legacy Animal Rescue does not guarantee that any dog is housebroken nor crate trained. Story
Forest is looking for an adopter who loves em' sweet as pie (or cake). WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS ABOUT ME: Forest (formerly known as Black Forest Cake) stops everyone in their tracks with his striking looks. But that's not all, he is also calm, gentle, poised, and oh so friendly. His ideal day would consistent of car rides with the windows down, sun bathing, and playing with his canine companions. His smile lights up the room and he is sure to make you smile too! Forest is happy to entertain himself by tossing his toys in the air and then hopping around to catch them. He's happy to entertain himself and anyone else who is around to watch him play! This goofy boy is described by other humans as a happy, snuggly pup who will brighten their day. Forest's favorite way to spend his day includes chewing on a bone or playing with a new toy and then cuddling up with his human and doggie friends for some quality time on the couch. He's a great snuggler and has never heard of "personal space". He'll cuddle up to his people and rest his head on you while he naps. ATTRIBUTES: Forest is currently in foster with dogs and has been exposed to cats though hasn't been integrated with cats to date. -------------- Laila's Legacy Animal Rescue does not guarantee that any dog is housebroken nor crate trained.
