Story
Brandi and her sister have been with us for quite a few months, their siblings have been adopted and doing great in their homes. She would love a home to call her own! She is currently in a home with other dogs and a cat and does wonderfully with everyone. Brandi can be shy at first, but is cuddly and loving once she gets to know you. She is very agile and would probably do great with some agility training! She is house trained and does great in a crate! She is looking for an active home who enjoys outdoor activities. She would love a fenced in yard because she loves to play outside. Right now, she is being fostered in Tennessee. The rescue lists in areas where transport is available. They use safe USDA licensed dog transports that will bring her to their new family, once they are adopted! Once you send an application, the rescue will contact you for an interview and be able to send more photos and even videos She is spayed and UTD on all required vaccinations. She is microchipped and on flea preventative. Please, you MUST click the following link BEFORE emailing for further information. I'm at our Oglethorpe Street shelter! If you want to adopt me, come to 71 Oglethorpe St. NW between 12-7 pm Tuesday-Sunday or visit humanerescuealliance.org/how-to-adopt to learn more.Get the car and head to HRA now to meet Irv! This is one hunk of burning love! So handsome, sweet, and fun! Irv is one of those fab dogs that likes to sit next to you and get love and pettings. He is so relaxed and chill. Now, he still likes to play and get out for fun, sniffy walks but he seems to be one of those easy-going fellows. Irv was a stray and hard to believe, but no one claimed him! He's been so agreeable since he arrived, but we know he would love to be adopted soon and be an important member of a family. So, gun the engine and head to HRA to meet the marvelous Irv!Check out Irv's video! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FGq_S-mx-Sc

Story
I'm in a FOSTER HOME! If you want to meet me, you can start the process by emailing my foster parent at holstine.kyle@gmail.com to set up a time to virtually meet me! Ryylin is a sweet middle-aged girl who loves people (adults and children) and seeks to please them at every opportunity. While we're not sure of her past, she seems to have been given a good amount of training in her life. No matter the circumstance, she quickly responds to direction. In almost every situation she's obedient when given commands. She has all the basic commands like sit, down and stay. When we move from one level of the house to the next, she's been trained not to proceed until given the "come" command. As expected of a dog her age she is house-trained.Though she'd rather spend all her time with her human, she has no problem staying home alone for a full workday. No separation anxiety, no accidents, and no destruction. Ryylin is a moderate energy girl. She's content to lounge around all day and is a world champion cuddler. However, she also loves children and reciprocates their energy level in a variety of games and activities. She'll take as many walks as you'll give her but doesn't complain or beg if you come up a few short one day. She also accepts car rides if you have the time. If you want a dog that gives you unconditional love and is low maintenance, Ryylin is the dog for you. Come meet her, you'll be glad you did!To learn more about Ryylin or to schedule a meet and greet, contact holstine.kyle@gmail.com. Story
I'm in a FOSTER HOME! If you want to meet me, you can start the process by emailing my foster parent at eckardn01@gmail.com to virtually meet me. Ms. Minnie is a snuggle bug while also an energetic bundle of joy. She doesn't know personal space and will cuddle up right next to you on the couch. While in foster, she's been able to learn to sit, wait, lay down, paw, and rollover. She's near the end of her potty training journey as when she needs to go, she sits at the door to let you know. She's a super smart and sweet girl that needs patience. She takes a little to warm up to strangers, but food is the way to her heart. She loves to meet other furry friends but can be dog-selective, so a dog meet and greet would be required. She's a curious girl and loves to explore new things. Minnie loves window watching, ice cubes, lick mats and puzzles to work her mind. She needs a patient parent who will help her with confidence! To learn more, please email her foster mom at eckardn01@gmail.com.

Story
I'm in a FOSTER HOME! If you want to meet me, you can start the process by emailing my foster parent at dogfoster14@gmail.com.Meet Abby! Everyone has been in love with her since landing at HRA. Her foster parents tell us she's smart, loving, and the perfect example of a velcro dog. This senior gal was found as a stray and has been such a good girl since she arrived, but we know what she really wants is to find her forever home. While with her foster, Abby has learned how to sit and use a doggy door. She's still working on her in-house manners, but she is doing great and seems to be house-trained. Abby would love a warm home, brisk walkies, and lots of love.Check out Abby's video! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zN4uFXirdqY
