Story
Simba is a small adult dog with a sweet and loyal personality once he feels comfortable. He loves being around his person and enjoys a calm, structured environment. Simba is crate trained and does well with routine. He can be anxious in new situations and around unfamiliar people, which may cause him to bark or become defensive. He will likely bark quite a bit during the first few days as he adjusts to a new environment. Because of this, Simba would do best in a home with an experienced dog owner who understands how to give him time and space to adjust. He would do best in a home without small children. Simba would do best in a house rather than an apartment, as he can be vocal at times. A home without carpet is preferred. Simba has so much love to give and forms a strong bond with his owner. With patience, consistency, and the right environment, he can be a very loyal and rewarding companion. We are looking for a home that can provide him with stability.

Amazon Prime is sponsoring my adoption fees!*I`m in a foster home* To meet me reach out to my foster caregiver at kimseidl@proton.meMeet little miss Tater. She`s a 40 pound pocket pup mix with a little pittie and 99% Wiggle. She is the happiest dog you could ever hope to meet and tap dances while folding herself in half with excitement and any attention you give her- just the slightest look in her direction will set her tail in motion and she`ll crawl in and grab your arm for belly rub time. She can`t wait to see you in the morning, get the morning zoomies and settle in for some good food toys followed by a snuggly snooze. She knows how to fetch and loves her Wubba. She is incredibly food motivated and we`re currently working on some confidence building and training with sit/stay, and loose leash walking. She just started working on `touch` and instead of nose booping, she gives the cutest little kisses! She would love to keep working with you- especially if you have treats!. If you`d like to know more about this sweet little girl, contact her foster mom for more info.

Story
*Woof* Come meet me at 71 Oglethorpe st. While in foster, Bert has loved giving and receiving affection, especially ear scratches and belly rubs. He`s energetic at times but also enjoys cuddling on the couch. He has a healthy sense of curiosity, but showed no destructive behaviors or attempts to chew on something that he shouldn`t. He has been fine when left alone for a few hours.Bert is the perfect mix of active outdoor buddy and chill indoor roommate. He’s as happy to be lying next to (or on top of) his human, as he is to be chasing a ball or perfecting his grass-rolling technique. The only things cuter than his fabulous personality are his little lower teeth that give him the most charming, goofy smile -- the kind that instantly makes you giggle. Bert is very smart and has perfected `sit` and loose-leash walking. He’s also great in the car and on long walks, soliciting pets from everyone he meets. He has the calm demeanor of an older gentleman and the manners to match. He’ll let you eat without hovering, is housebroken, keeps a tidy kennel, and is a quiet co-worker. Bert is happy to snooze on his own while you work, even gladly going to another room during conference calls.Bert will be an amazing dog for someone who wants a chill, goofy, and cuddly sidekick who just goes with the flow. Meet this sweetheart today and let Bert show you just how special he is.

This smart Retriever mix is ready to go straight to the top of the class with positive training. He wants love, reassurance, and gentle guidance as he grows. Crema is a wee bit bashful right now, but with patience and support, he’s already beginning to bloom. If you’re looking for a fantastic dog and are ready to help him become the best pooch he can be, meet and adopt Crema today. He’s a wonderful pup with so much love to give.

Story
*Woof* I am in a foster home! Email my foster parent to meet me: ekurland@humanerescuealliance.orgOh how I live up to my name! See, an impala is a graceful African antelope with reddish-brown fur and powerful jumping ability. My coat is a strikingly beautiful red-brown color and I move so gracefully that I have been called `Impala Ballerina` by some. Luckily, I have been learning to exercise my jumping skills to moments when it is appropriate. I may need some continued support in this area (the main issue here being that I get so so excited when I see my friends that I feel urged to express it in bouncing up and down even if it is not exercise time).I have begun studies of other doggie manners as well and have earned A+ ratings for my prompt sit and for my hand targeting skills. I think I am all set up for success in my new home! Could this be yours?
