Story
Simone is a sweet, playful dog who deserves more time and attention than I can give as a busy mom of five. She loves toys, dog parks, and anything involving water, and she thrives with people who enjoy an active lifestyle. I am taking my time to find her a loving, stable home where she will be cared for, included, and truly happy. If you are interested, please reach out and tell me about your home so I can make sure she finds the right fit. She comes with all her things. Crate ( her room), feeding bowls, bedding etc

*Woof* Meet me at 71 Oglethorpe St NW between 12pm-7pm daily!Washington Commanders’ Defensive End Jake Martin is helping out the big dogs this month with his 55 Rescue Drive! Jake is reducing my adoption fee to only $55!Cobweb has the most soulful eyes, and he is a big boy at almost 70 pounds! This sweet boy is a total delight on walks — everyone who meets him comments on how calm and kind he is. He enjoys taking his time outdoors, pausing to admire other dogs and take in the world with those thoughtful eyes. He’s also wonderfully polite. Tell him “no” in your normal voice and he immediately understands — and he’s always happy to trade whatever he shouldn’t have for a toy. Speaking of toys, he loves them! He plays gently and never tears them apart. At home, he likes to stay close to his people (he may get more independent with time), following you from room to room with quiet loyalty. The ideal home for this precious big guy is one that is low-traffic and patient, with adopters willing to let this sweetheart settle in at a gentle pace. A confident, relaxed, gentle resident dog who can boost Cobweb`s confidence. Any children in the home should be calm, dog-savvy, and able to respect his space. Adopters must commit to using force-free, positive reinforcement methods only which the staff can review with you! Please meet him soon!

*Woof* Meet me at 71 Oglethorpe St NW!Washington Commanders’ Defensive End Jake Martin is helping out the big dogs this month with his 55 Rescue Drive! Jake is reducing my adoption fee to only $55!Athena did so well in her temporary foster home. She`s so loving and cuddly. She enjoys playing with her toys and going on walks, walking at an easy pace. She’s very friendly with other people inside and outside the home. For the most part, she has a very chill and loving personality and just wants to be close to her people all the time. Athena is the Greek goddess of wisdom, and our Athena is just as magical. She is SOOOO SWEET! She is so much fun to walk and play with. And when it comes time to snuggle, well this gorgeous pup leans right in and practically melts in your arms. So many volunteers really love this doggie, and you will too. She is such a dream dog, but she needs to be the only pet in a home....and honestly, she`s all the pet you need! please. Ready for a new best friend in your heart and home? Athena is waiting for you!!

I`m in a Foster Home! To meet me, email my foster parent at lucascopeland@gmail.com.Bronx is all love and good vibes. He’s happiest when he’s close to his people — snuggling on the couch, playing, or simply hanging out by your side. This smart pup is a quick learner and already knows sit, spin, paws up, touch, and down. Whether it’s a cozy Movie Night or an energizing walk on the trail or around the neighborhood, Bronx is always excited to join in.He adores meeting new people, soaking up affection, and trying new snacks. Strawberries are his absolute favorite, and LOVED his very first parfait! If you’re searching for a gentle, affectionate companion who’s always ready for snuggles and shared adventures, Bronx is your guy.
