Kenyon is an incredibly friendly 8 year old shepherd mix who is loyal, loving, and a ton of fun. We have had her since she was a puppy and have had many wonderful adventures with her. She is great on walks and loves nothing more than chasing a ball or lounging with her humans. She is in excellent health and is generally an easy dog to love and to care for, with no separation anxiety. She will be your loving and loyal companion through anything! She is not comfortable around children so will be happy in a home that does not have and is not expecting small children.

Story

Jazz is a sweet seven year-old rescue staffy-boxer mix, originally from rural Georgia. We adopted her in late 2020 and she is a wonderful dog! She loves to snuggle (a lot), go on walks and hikes, run around the yard, splash in shallow creeks and chase water from a hose, and play with toys. She is house and leash trained and will listen to commands. She knows sit, down, paw, wait, rollover, and let's go. She successfully went through a multi-week obedience training and was the star of the class because she is very food and treat motivated! She does well at dog-sitters when she is the only dog, and she is adaptable at getting comfortable in new spaces. She loves car rides and settles down in the back seat. She will gladly chase or chew toys but is good about not chewing furniture. We are having our first child and unfortunately we cannot care for Jazz too. Jazz has brought us so much joy and we know that she will make a great addition to the right family.

Coffee is a 4-year-old, spayed female Pit/Ridgeback mix who is ready to find her forever family. Due to unexpected personal circumstances, I’m no longer able to care for her long term. Coffee is both crate trained and fully house trained. She has a solid obedience foundation and knows recall, place, heel, center, sit, and down. She walks beautifully on a loose leash, even in busy city environments, and is comfortable navigating crowded streets. She has no known health issues and is up to date on preventive medications for heartworm, fleas, and ticks. Coffee does well being home alone during the workweek (about 8 hours a day). She enjoys playing tug, going for walks, and especially loves car rides. Most of all, she is sweet, affectionate, and loves being around people. Coffee would do best in a stable home that can give her consistent love, attention, and companionship.

Good morning. My name is Trevor Riddick. I am in need of an emergency foster family. If that’s even a thing. My pitbull is named Smudge. He is now 2 years old on November 22. He is around 80-83 lbs. In the next few weeks or one month, I will be moving in to a single bedroom apartment with family. The apartment complex doesn’t allow pets, especially Smudges breed. If you know of anyone who would be willing to give him my loving home, please reach out. He’s is neutered and up to date on all vaccinations. Smudge is very intelligent. After walks he waits for his paws to be wiped before going on the carpet. He even lifts his back paws up for you. He patiently waits for his food and water. He is a big fan of toys, especially the so called indestructible ones. As a newborn puppy, Smudge was found with his mom, brother and sister in an abandoned office park in Baltimore. Through a great adoption agency, we were able to give him a wonderful home with loving feline sisters.

Kaine is a fun-loving dog with a lot of energy. He just turned 2 on January 21st and will come with all of his toys, food, crate, and bed. He is very affectionate and loves cuddles and being around people. Kaine even enjoys watching TV/ movies with animals, like The Secret Life of Pets, really catch his attention! I love him very much and wish I could keep him, but I want to do what's best for Kaine. He deserves a fun, upbeat home with a family that has more time to give him the attention, activity, and love he needs to thrive. Perfect health, fully up to date on vaccines. Sometimes a bit territorial around other dogs when on-leash but never any issues at a dog park. We adopted her 7 years ago as a puppy.
