He needs someone who has the time to take him outside more often. He isnt house trained, he is 8 years old and we can’t get him to be house trained simply due to our schedules. He is good with kids and pets but unfortunately doesn’t fit into our lifestyle and schedule anymore. He is a chill dog, loves to lay around all day.

Story
Moose’s mother was a pregnant stray and we adopted Moose from a rescue company. He is turning 5 a couple of days before Christmas. He is a loving, fun, and respectful dog that we wish we could hang on to forever. The hard truth is that we recently had our first child, and while Moose is great with the baby, we don’t have the necessary time and energy to give Moose the life that he deserves. We moved to a new location and despite all of our efforts, we cannot seem to be able to make the situation work in a way that is fair to Moose.

Story
Meet Brooke! This spunky girl originally came to us in March 2022 and has unfortunately been returned to us as she was no longer a good fit in her adoptive home. Brooke would be best suited to an active home who will take her on plenty of adventures and find fun new ways to keep her busy! Brooke is all energy and is a blast to watch play and run around. She is curious about everything and loves to explore when on walks or if she is running around the yard. Playing fetch is Brooke's main jam and something she could do for hours if given the opportunity! She is very polite about playing and will bring whatever toy she is playing with and set it right by your feet for another toss. If you are looking for a quiet dog then Brooke may not be the girl for you. She has a very distinct bark and loves to let you know when she is excited or wanting attention. Brooke LOVES belly rubs and to smush as close to her people as she can possibly be! The previous owners said she was housebroken and crate-trained and in her time back with us keeps her kennel very clean. Brooke can become destructive when she is bored or anxious and would benefit greatly from extra enrichment and things to do in her adoptive home. Brooke has previously done well with male medium-large male dogs and would do best with a dog that is not as assertive as she is. She can be a rough and vocal player and will need a dog who will tolerate her play style. She has done well with children while in our care but is a very bouncy girl and may not be the best fit for children who are not used to energetic pups. If you are looking for a dog that will offer you endless entertainment and companionship, Brooke may be the girl for you! Brooke is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Available as of 02/23/24

Story
Say hello to Katie! This sweet senior came to us as part of a humane investigation and is looking for a home where she can spend her golden years relaxing the days away! Katie can be a timid girl but is one of the sweetest pups around. Even with everything she went through, Katie wants nothing more than attention and pets. Katie would benefit greatly from a quiet, patient household who will be giving her all the time she needs to adjust herself to living in a new environment. New people and new sounds can be especially frightening for Katie and she would love to have an owner who will be there to reassure her that the world is not as scary as she thought it was. Ten-year-old Katie is an easy-going pup. A walk or a mosey around the yard is plenty for her to be happy as long as she gets to curl up on a comfy bed or blanket afterward! She has started showing some spunk while on our adoption floor and is very interested in tennis balls and stuffed toys when you toss them. When she isn't settled down for a snooze, Katie loves to be right next to you getting all the pets she can. Katie has previously lived with a similar-sized male dog and would not mind another calm pup in her forever home. She has shown a lot of disinterest in cats so may be okay with a feline friend as well! Due to the noise and activity that can come with children, Katie may do best in a home with older children who will be respectful of the fact she may need some time to decompress. Stop by and meet and Katie if you are looking to add a sweet senior to your home! Katie is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Available as 02/23/24
