Rocket is a a 6yr old terrier mix. He's a great dog with lots of energy. He loves being around his people. He loves to go on hikes and walks and car rides! He’s a super sweet boy and will cuddle up with you and be your best companion. We are looking for a home for him that doesn’t have kids under the age of 5. Preferably people who are home more often than not or work from home. He just loves to be around someone.

Story
Hi there! Smino, an almost 2-year-old Dalmatian, is in need of a new home where he can thrive and bring joy to a family or highly energetic individuals. He absolutely loves playing outside, especially with other dogs, although his playful nature can sometimes be a bit overwhelming for smaller dogs. Due to his size and loud bark, Smino would be best suited for a home with ample space, rather than an apartment. While he is well-trained and does not bite people, he does have a tendency to chew on unattended items, though thankfully he leaves the furniture intact. Smino is incredibly sweet and affectionate, but he requires a lot of care and attention to ensure he remains happy and healthy.

Story
It’s Echo (Echo!), the hound so nice you’ll want to adopt her twice. This girl is a happy, loving, active, and playful hound mix, 2 years old and 52 pounds. Her big floppy velvet ears will keep you coming back for more scritches, and she’ll be a delightful companion. Echo was made for outdoor activities. If you like to go hiking, run with your dog, and go to the dog park, Echo is the girl for you. She enjoys an active routine and wants a person who will take her out on a regular basis. She wants to experience everything the world has to offer with her super sniffy nose! She’s generally easy to walk, but she’ll need some tight control when a *SQUIRREL!* enters her field of vision. At home, Echo enjoys sitting on the deck watching the world go by - a fenced yard or other secure outdoor area would be ideal for her. She is well behaved in her foster home, going to bed by herself and staying off the furniture. She enjoys cuddles, takes a bath well, and allows herself to be handled without complaint.Echo gets along great with other dogs who like to play. Her roughhousing may look intense, but she’s just having a good time and getting her energy out. Come meet her at one of our adoption shows and you’ll get to see her in action!                         PAW places dogs in the Washington, DC/Baltimore metropolitan area only. ##2004631##
