Not good with kids, Good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Oscar is a mini golden doodle (DNA confirmed). He knows all his basic commands and does some tricks too. He is a good dog overall but recently started exhibiting some anxiety and on rare occasion has exhibited aggressive behavior towards my youngest daughter and husband. My eldest daughter has special needs, and he has never exhibited any negative or aggressive behavior towards her. We have done tons of training, but we are unable to commit the time and money that is needed to work through his behavior issues. He will be 3 years old in October and I believe with the right environment Oscar can thrive and deserves a chance. We will miss him terribly, but unfortunately, our home is just not the right environment, and he would do best in a quiet home that has a yard for lots of exercise. He gets along with most dogs.

Story
Rye loves loves loves her people more than anything. She'd rather spend her days with you, romping on a hike, getting coffee, or hanging on the couch than anything else. She makes fo a great work from home partner or a great adventuring partner and will surely win over your heart! She can meet and play with children outside of the home and can meet them on leash. She can play with dogs in daycare or boarding or in play-dates as well. She's worked with a trainer and knows multiple tricks and is currently working/maintaining neutrality training when she's in public. She's also received leash training and does great on walks or hikes. She does respond to her name and has good recall but isn't ready to be off leash yet - she loves to chase small creatures - however does very well on a long-line on hikes/sniffy walks! Rye has spent 2.5 of her 3 years of life in a rescue or foster, after being adopted as a baby (fit in our founder's palm she was so tiny!!) she was returned at 7 months due to a lifestyle change during COVID. Eventually, Rye was saved by our founder when she was going to be euthanized for space in another organization, and has been with her in foster ever since. While Rye loves her foster home and her foster mom, she's excited for a forever home full of treats, love, training, and cuddles. If that's you please reach out to apply! If you'd like to foster or adopt Rye please apply online or email info@lailaslegacyanimalrescue.org with questions.

Story
Winter is in search of a forever home with another confident canine companion. Winter is a sweet, smart and friendly dog! She can be a bit shy upon initially meeting new people, but she quickly warms up to people and starts licking them to show affection. She says "hello" with a quick sniff and lick on the hand and those who have met her describe her as friendly, sweet, well-behaved, gentle, and of course beautiful! She's her most confident self when she is around other dogs. Her ears are always up but move around like little radar antennas - it's her way of keeping track of her humans and doggie friends. Winter has lived with both small and large dogs, is playful, and enjoys toys or playing fetch. Winter has also spent some time with cats and shows promise in her interactions with them. While excited by cats, she easily responds to verbal corrections and respects their personal space. She knows "sit" and is working on "stay" and "down". Winter's favorite way to spend her day is running around in the yard until she's so tired that she naps for hours. She loves playing tug-of-war with her humans or other dogs, is also an expert at fetch, and is very gentle with her toys. Winter's favorite place is beside her human and animal friends. Her second favorite spot is her crate. She is super easy to crate and naps whenever her fosters are out of the home. She also enjoys napping in her crate all on her own! She is currently in foster care and doing very well with crate and house training. She is looking forward to continuing to learn new skills in her forever home. While Winter can be a little shy when first meeting someone, she's your lifelong best friend when she gets to know you! If you're interested please apply online or email info@lailaslegacyanimalrescue.org if you have questions!
