Story
Velma is a sweetheart who’s ready for her next chapter! She spent time at Animal Charity starting 2024 and recently made her way to Rescue Village in hopes of finding a loving forever home. Velma can be a little timid when meeting new people, but don’t let that fool you—once she feels comfortable, her playful and energetic personality comes bursting out! She loves to have fun and will happily show off her silly side to the people she trusts. Coming from a home with 22 other dogs, Velma is used to canine company and tends to prefer male dog friends. She’d do great with a patient family who will give her a little time to warm up and then enjoy all the love, zoomies, and tail wags she has to offer.

Story
Scarlett is a sweet, sensitive girl with a big love for stuffed toys! Plushies are her prized treasures—she’ll happily carry them around and look for the perfect hiding spot, which is just as adorable as it sounds. Scarlett came to us from Animal Charity after several years there following rescue from a large multi-dog home. She has safely been around other dogs and even enjoyed group activities and field trips, but she prefers calm, slow introductions and isn’t a fan of fast, face-to-face greetings. Because Scarlett values her toys so much, adopters should be mindful of toy sharing in a multi-dog home and watch her body language to help everyone stay comfortable. With patience, structure, and a few beloved stuffies, Scarlett is ready to blossom into a loving companion.

Story
Cash is a sensitive sweetheart -- a loving, loyal pup with a tender heart. Shelter life has been tough on him—but once he's near people (and a few friendly pups), his true personality starts to shine! We’ve been helping Cash through enrichment, fostering, training, and anti-anxiety meds—and he’s making progress. He LOVES toys, water play, and just being near his humans. Cash will need time to decompress in a quiet home, and someone patient. He may be too nervous for walks or outings at first, and that’s okay. With time, love, and support, this guy has the potential to become your most loyal sidekick.
