Story

Chloe is a beautiful black lab female, 3 years old and in perfect health living with an older couple. Despite having a substantial fenced in yard, call of the wild is strong with this girl. She escapes the yard and bothers the neighbors dogs. Now the bad part - we live on a main road, well trafficked with speeding vehicles. Chloe invariably ends up on the road and has had many close calls with fast cars. Despite my attempts to keep her chained in the yard, my wife, who suffers from dementia, is constantly leaving doors to the outside open and the dog takes off. Chloe simply loves little kids and is a gentle soul, as long as you are not our neighbors Yorkie. Will break my heart to give her up but hurt far worse if she ends up dead on the road like my beloved Golden Retriever 4 years ago. For someone younger with the willingness to train her, Chloe would be a marvelous dog. We have just run out of the energy to chase her.

Mina loves to be praised, good girl etc… might need to be only dog , she doesn’t like cats, not sure why. She was caught in Montgomery Alabama in 2018 after a Hurricane! We got at about 5months old & I lost my husband two years later. She loves being able to run in fenced in yard. Now I had to move to an apt. & she’s not doing that well here , with other dogs, people, mainly because she’s not used to all this. Definitely needs a home, yard & training. Maybe.
