Story

My name is Teddy. I am a tricolored, 4 year old male, pit bull mix, weighing around 80 pounds. I was rescued by City Dogs in Cleveland, OH, where I received all of my vaccines, was microchipped, and neutered. I was adopted following a short stay, by a family with young children. I am mostly housebroken, with occasional accidents when left inside for longer periods of time. My energy mirrors the energy in the home (i.e. I can be low energy and lounge or hyper and have the zoomies.) I enjoy snuggling, attention, and belly rubs. I love going on walks for fresh air and to see other people and dogs. The ideal home would be with a person or people who can spend time with me, get me routine exercise, and provide a calmer environment. I am good with kids/children however, a home with children 8 years or older would be ideal as I can become stressed and overwhelmed with little kids (noise, level of activity, physicality when giving attention).

Looking for a loving home for a wonderful dog. He would do best with an active person or family who can give him plenty of exercise and long walks. He loves to run and play, but off-leash he may get distracted and chase things like squirrels. He is energetic and friendly. He gets along with some dogs, especially female dogs. With cats he is too playful and active and will not leave them alone, so a home without cats would be best. He does well with children, but it would be better if they are not very small, because he is energetic and can accidentally knock them over while playing. He is smart, loves people, and would make a great companion for someone with an active lifestyle.
