Story
Grey is such a bro. Grey is a male American Staffordshire terrier that weighs 61 pounds. He is estimated to be 2 years old. Grey was found as a stray and no one claimed him. He was very thin upon intake and just plain sad. In the few weeks that he has been with us, he has eaten and gotten much needed TLC. He has gained some weight and is overall a body wiggle pro. He is very strong on leash and would benefit from general obedience and manners. He is a full upper body workout. He will work your core, shoulders, back and patience. His giant blockhead is almost as big as his heart. He is very loving and friendly. He loves to be outside. A fenced in yard is ideal for Grey. He has a medium energy level. Because he was a stray, we don’t know anything about Grey’s background. He would prefer to be your one and only dog. Grey is available and is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested, and has a microchip. Please email dogadoptions@parmashelter.org and fill out an adoption application online to meet Grey. Grey`s adoption fee is $160. Grey is the type of dog that will gladly accompany you on the couch to watch movies. But when you get up to get a snack, you gotta find another spot to sit because he has taken over the whole couch. Such a bro. He can be adopted outside of Parma.

*SPECIAL NEEDS GIRL IN SEARCH OF SPECIAL HOME for PALLIATIVE CAREMeet our special needs girl Zoey. While under our care, Zoey had a soft tissue sarcoma tumor surgically removed from her leg. It may or may not come back. For that reason, we are asking for a permanent foster who is willing to open up their home to Zoey for as long as she has on this earth. The Shelter will continue to pay for all her vetting while she is in the permanent foster’s home. Zoey is a female Boxer mix that weighs 56 pounds. She is 8.5 years young. This girl came to us as an owner surrender after her loving owner passed away. Zoey is a very good girl and would make a great family dog. In the home, Zoey is very calm and easy going. She will follow you around and keep you company, whether you want it or not (LOL). She is very much a Velcro dog. Zoey thoroughly enjoys car rides. She is housetrained and has a medium energy level. She is dog selective meaning she likes some dogs, and others, not so much especially small dogs.. Zoey also does well with certain cats. If you have a resident dog, you must schedule a meet and greet to make sure everyone gets along. Zoey would be perfectly fine being the only dog too. Zoey is already spayed and microchipped. Please email dogadoptions@parmashelter.org and fill out an adoption application online to meet Zoey. Zoey lives her life day by day. She just needs a loving home.

Story
Siggi is a sweet and affectionate dog who thrives in a calm, controlled environment with people she knows and trusts. She doesn’t enjoy the company of other dogs and can be protective of her loved ones and her space. However, once comfortable, she is incredibly loving, gentle, and devoted.

Story
Hi all,I spent a few days with a foster family. I met another lab mix, and we got along just fine. I like to explore, smell, sniff, and look around. I love to give kisses and hugs. I fetch and enjoy any toys of all kinds. I`m fine in the car but I need time to get used to road trips, I don`t get sick or anything but it`s all new for me. I have been to Home Depot for some Christmas shopping. I love experiencing new things. I know sit. Call me and I come, I honestly don`t stray too far from my people. If you let me out regularly, I`ll learn to be accident free, but again, I am still learning so please help me learn and fall into a steady routine. Remember I`m four months young. I have a lot of puppy energy and take many naps. I’d love a fenced yard; I enjoy playing fetch inside just as much though. I love walks, I take in all the smells and sniff a bunch. I enjoy my naps, I snore just bit, I rarely bark. Just a happy go lucky gal looking for a warm home for Christmas and New Years` to come. I am eager to learn. I bond quickly. I’ll be yours and a loyal companion for life. Let’s meet up at PAS soon. Bring me a yummy treat and I`ll hop in your lap so we can meet in person. Any questions ask my foster family...See you soon. ConnieThrough a partnership with another rescue, Geauga Moms and Pups, we pulled Connie to find a loving forever home. Connie is a female lab mix that weighs 38 pounds and is currently 4 months old. DOB is 7-7-24. Connie will be a very big dog when full grown. She is very shy but full of love. She would benefit from having an adopter willing to help her build her confidence. She is good with other dogs. In fact, we would recommend a resident confident dog in the home to help show Connie the ropes. She has not been exposed to cats or other small furry pets or children. Connie will need help with general obedience, leash training, housetraining and socialization. Connie is available for our foster to adopt program which means you can foster her in your home until she finishes vetting which includes vaccines and microchip. Connie is already spayed. Please email dogadoptions@parmashelter.org and fill out an adoption application online to meet Connie. Connie’s adoption fee is $200. Please remember that puppies are a lifetime commitment. They require a lot of work and patience but they will be your most loyal companion for life. If you are ready to dedicate time and wor

Story
Hi there!! My name is Chief and I`m an incredibly cool 3 year old lab/boxer mix that is looking for a new home. My weight is 62 lbs. I am house trained and crate trained, and promise to be the best dog you`ve ever met. Ok, I may need a little bit of training as I get excited and jump sometimes, or maybe pull a bit on the leash, but I promise with love and guidance, I know I can do better. I`ve been around other dogs, and do well, but a meet and greet is always required if there`s another dog in the home. I haven`t been around cats yet! Unfortunately, my owner found himself homeless and he wants the best for me. So if you have a heart bigger than the moon, and feel that you can give me the great life all dogs deserve, I need to be updated on shots and neutered. But in the meantime, I can go into foster to adopt. Please email: dogadoptions@parmashelter.org for an appointment and fill out an application on line! My adoption fee is $160 which includes updated shots, HW test, microchip, and neuter. I would love a new home for the holidays!
