She`s not interested in marathons or hiking adventures—in fact, she`d much rather spend her days lounging in the air conditioning, thank you very much. She doesn`t care to walk very far, especially in the summer heat, and honestly... who can blame her? If your idea of a perfect day includes relaxing on the couch with your favorite buddy, Winkie is already packing her imaginary bags.Low-energy and easygoing, Winkie is searching for a family that appreciates the finer things in life—soft beds, cool naps, tasty treats, belly rubs, and lots of love. Because of her compact build, a home with few stairs would be ideal for this precious girl.Winkie has shown great potential with other dogs and recently joined a dog playgroup, where she did well. Compatibility with cats and young children is unknown, but older children would be a better fit due to her sturdy size.Winkie is available through our Foster-to-Adopt Program, which means you can welcome her home while she finishes her veterinary care with the shelter.
