Not good with kids, Good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
My sister & I found Diamond on Facebook. Her previous owner was extremely willing to re-home her & showed no signs of remorse or anything. She is spayed/neutered (I can provide those records). However, she is NOT house trained at all. Despite NUMEROUS attempts to train her outside of our townhome, she refuses to go outside or even hint that she needs to go outside. This makes me believe that she is not well-suited to live in a townhome/apartment. She needs her very own house with a nice big fenced in yard. She also has a major jumping/biting issue. Nothing my sister & I try to do to train her is working. She is good with kids when she's calmed down, however, when riled up too much, she can very easily knock young children over & bite to no extent. So, in part of this re-homing process, young children are not recommended. In conclusion, Diamond needs an actual house to live in, a nice yard to run around & potty in, & experienced OR willing to train owners.

Story
Daxx is a young energetic dog, he loves to play and run outside and sun bathe. He requires a lot of love and attention and unfortunately we just don’t have the time to give him that attention he needs. He is house trained but has separation anxiety and we can only leave for a few hours at a time

Story
Introducing Leif, a charming companion who found his way to us after being discovered as a stray in an apartment building. It seems his previous owners may have overlooked his wonderful qualities, but their loss is your gain, as Leif is truly the sweetest and most playful pup, eager to embark on a journey of learning and affection. At just around a year old, Leif is a big-hearted guy who occasionally forgets his size when showering you with kisses and cuddles. He gets along well with larger dogs, though his exuberance might be a bit much for smaller ones. Leif's perfect match would be a home with ample space for outdoor adventures – he's quite the fan of playtime. He also adores his cozy bed, a simple luxury he never had to go without again. Having known hunger, Leif's appetite for love, pets, and yummy treats is insatiable. He would thrive in an active, youthful home with some experience in canine companionship, or with someone who's willing to guide him through a few training classes, allowing this exceptional boy to reach his full potential. Leif, a unique and affectionate soul, seeks nothing more than compassion, understanding, and love. Could that special someone be you? If you are interested in meeting Leif, send us a message!

Story
Allow us to introduce you to Norris. This charming fella came to us some time ago as a stray. Initially timid, Norris has come a long way since then, now reveling in playful activities. With a toy, a yard, or even a baby pool, Norris is the happiest boy when he is enjoying swimming and playtime. His play style might involve a bit of vocalization, but it's all in the spirit of fun. As far as Norris is concerned…there is never enough toys! After his energetic bursts, Norris finds joy in stretching out and lounging. He adores nestling his nose under your arm for head rubs and sitting snugly between your legs. At around 2 years old, he's a leash-walking pro, making him a great companion for an active lifestyle. He will need an active household. While he's tolerant with other dogs, we believe he'd thrive best as the sole pet in the household. We do think he would thrive with someone who has a bit of experience with owning dogs. He would thrive with someone who knows how to lead him to be the best boy. Due to his exuberant nature, we recommend a home without young children and a securely fenced yard for this lively boy. This sweetheart just needs his very own forevermore. Is that with you? If you are interested in Norris, send us a message to set up a potential meet and greet!

Story
We'd like to re-introduce you to Winnie, a remarkable dog who's come a long way since we last introduced her a few months ago. If you remember she rescued by a Good Samaritan and had an an iliac fracture and MAJOR ear troubles. Thanks to the unwavering support of our incredible community, we were able to provide her with the necessary medical care, granting her the gift of a pain-free life through total ear canal ablation surgery she needed. Now, the time has come for us to find Winnie her forever home. At around 5-6 years old, Winnie is not just any dog; she's a TOTAL SWEETHEART! She has been living with a foster and has shown great compatibility with their other large dog, Scottie. Day by day, she's making huge strides in meeting new people. Instead of being terrified, she now greets strangers with excitement. Her transformation is nothing short of inspiring. Winnie does reasonably well around cats but may need some separation when left alone. She's learning to understand them, but she’s not aggressive towards them. When it comes to children, we believe she would thrive best in a home with older kids, as her playfulness can be exuberant, akin to a bull in a China shop. She also can be a bit mouthy when she wants attention, but it’s more gentle and nothing major. For Winnie, a fenced-in yard would be ideal, she would thrive in an active home and one that can continue nurturing her newfound confidence. Is that with you? If you are interested in potentially meeting Winnie, send us a message!

Story
READ FULL ADOPTION POST Hey world, we’d like you to get reacquainted with our Twig. He was briefly adopted out, and it didn’t work out. But that’s okay. This adorable guy had a rocky start, but he's been blossoming in the care of an amazing foster and her pup. Twig's past is a mystery, while we know he was abandoned and emaciated…what he went through prior had to be bad. He is scared of being hurt by those he doesn’t know, and he cowers with fear when a voice is raised. He's got a heart as big as his loyalty, and he's fiercely protective of his chosen humans, kind of like a pint-sized chihuahua with a heart of gold. Now, Twig's looking for a special human with a PhD in "Rescue Dog Rehab," preferably a widow or a lone ranger – no kiddos or party animals please. We're talking about a tranquil, zen-like household here, folks. But here's the magic of Twig: when he loves, he loves with all his heart. You'll never find a more loyal and devoted dog. We say that a lot, but we truly mean it with Twig. His love is nothing short of inspiring. We’ve had him working with a trainer, and he's come a long way. Once he trusts you, you'll see just how sweet and loving he can be. His adoption process will include a few meet and greets with him and the trainer for a smooth transition and to provide you with the tools to understand and support him. Here's the cool part - he's great with other dogs, so if you've got a four-legged friend, they'll be instant BFFs. He is crate trained and housebroken. He can get bored and can occasionally chew, so toys are a must! Twig's hobbies include cuddling, soaking up the sun, earning treats like a pro, and going on car rides. He's a laid-back dude, always happy to be by your side. So, if you're a compassionate, patient, and experienced dog owner, ready to open your heart to Twig's quirks and all, reach out to us and help share his story!
