Story
We have had Luke for 2+ years. A wonderful time and he loves chasing a ball, playing tug, running, running, and a big snuggle bug. In the last two months he has begun to not do as well with our young kids as they have gotten bigger and more mobile. We have come to the difficult conclusion to rehome him before anything else occurs for our young kids safety. He had been in a house with 6/3/3 year olds. Does live with another dog and does fine with them but can be timid around other dogs but cares about balls more. Knows basic commands and recall including sit stay down come heel go to bed and some basic agility. Has been board and trained in the past and knows basic off collar recalls/collar recalls, can include e collar

Story
This is a courtesy post. Please contact Bernadette if you’re interested in Sophie at equinebodyworx@yahoo.com. Sophie is a 4 year old black lab mix. 55 lbs. Up to date on vaccines. Spayed. Great with kids. No cats. Can be with another dog if male.   No small dogs. Beyond lovable, loves to play with her toys and play fetch with the “chuck it”. Sophie loves car rides and pup cups from Starbucks.   Sophie would do best with a patient owner that would spend time and teach her some commands.  She is nervous at 1st with new people but after a few minutes she won't leave you alone without kisses.

TO MEET ME, please complete a Pre-Adoption Application through our website: https://www.foreverfriendsfoundation.org/info/adoption (If you rent, you will be required to provide a copy of your lease agreement showing that you are allowed pets.)  **SAMSON** Hi! I’m Samson, a beautiful husky/lab mix who loves kids, kisses, and cuddles! I was found in a parking lot by someone who was giving me away ( whatever that means) and a kind soul didn’t want me to end up in a bad place.  Thank goodness for Forever Friends Foundation.  My absolute favorite thing next to humans is treats!  I love being held and petted and know my basic commands.  I get along with cats and dogs and especially small and large children.            All Vet Work completed                  Tax deductible Adoption Fee $300    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 8, 2025, 11:24 am

Story
Oreo came into our lives 7 months ago. We rescued him from a local shelter. He had been given up due to landlord rules. Oreo is the sweetest most loyal dog you will ever meet. He has incredibly kind energy that all dogs and kids are drawn to him, even with histories of being nervous around larger dogs. Our main reason for needing to rehome Oreo is because of our 4 year old son. Oreo is very attached to me and gets upset when my son tries to take my attention away. We've spent thousands of dollars on training and while things improved, the tension is too much for us right now. I wish we could re-home Oreo temporarily and take him in 2 years :( I think Oreo would do best in a home with older kids/adults. Younger kids are totally safe with him but he becomes nervous when they take attn away from his owners. I'm happy to answer any questions about Oreo. I am not rushing rehoming as I want to make sure he goes to a kind family. Whoever gets him will be lucky! He's a very sweet boy❤️

Story
Say hello to Peter! He is a 4 year old American Pitbull Terrier who weighs 60 pounds. Peter is a sensitive boy at heart who likes to take his time getting to know new people, but after a few minutes he is eager to come over from some chin scratches. He enjoys spending time right by your side and is always looking for a comfy couch to lay on. He has been in a few foster homes and is described as a couch potato who loves a good nap! Peter shows potential to live with another dog, but he would need a slow intro since he is nervous at first. Due to his shy nature, if there are kids in his forever home they need to be ages 13 and older. If Peter looks like the perfect pup for you, Give us a call at 330-487-0333 ext 803 to learn more about him , or stop by the facility at 752 West Portage Trail, 44313
