Story

Nike is incredibly sweet and playful. She absolutely loves food and will happily do some tricks for more treats. She’s about 9 years old now so not as active as she used to be but her favorite toys are her Kong and her oversized rope. She does have an allergy issue and was on Apoquel (spell check) but I did switch her diet to a salmon food diet and it’s helped her skin tremendously and her hair even grew back. She’s great with other dogs and with kids too. She’s an amazing dog and the only reason I’m looking to rehome her is bc I’m moving and won’t be able to take her with me.

When Figgy first got to the kennel, it was clear she wasn`t well taken care of — she was starving and underweight, and you could easily count each rib. But despite the fact that she clearly hasn`t had the best of lives thus far, she doesn`t give a flying fig and has made the very best of it, blossoming from a shy little girl into a bright and curious young lady, beaming with life and joyfulness. She has nearly doubled in size (!!) in just a few months, and is full of endless wiggles and waggles and kisses. She`s chockfull of puppyish energy and loves to run around and play with toys. She also love love loves to spend time with other dogs and is a regular in playgroup, happily racing around and wrestling with every dog she meets. With proper introductions, she would make an excellent companion for other playful, social dogs!
