Story
We are accepting applications for our sweet girl, Lorelai. She was a pull from Memphis Animal Services, on September 21, 2022. When she came to us she weighed 26lbs & was heartworm positive, She is with a foster who was getting her through her first few critical months, but still has her. She is more than ready for her furever love!! She is completely house trained, and is a very well behaved house guest. She loves all people, though she is more comfortable with her doggie friends who are more on the chill side. She has gone through her heartworm treatment, over 6 months ago. She is extremely sweet, despite all of the horrors that she endured before coming into our rescue.

Story
Hello, my name is Clooney! Clooney is a courtesy posting for a kind & loving family who sadly find themselves in a position of needing to lovingly rehome this gorgeous, sweet dog. Clooney wrote up a description of himself and he would like you to read it: "I am a mixed Brindle Pitbull breed and am about 3.5 years old. I am a big cuddle bug and sometimes don't even know my own size as I always sit with my owner on her recliner. Although we both don't fit very well, I love to snuggle . I have really big paws and I love to play with the hose in the summer. Its my favorite activity! I am so excited to see all the guests that come to my house to visit. Although I may need some work on jumping as I get so excited. I do really well with other dogs although I've never met any kitties. I think I may be just a tad rough with my house play that I may be best to be in a house with no children or adults only as I don't know my own strength. One of my other favorite past times is to lay in front of the fireplace on cold nights. I'm looking for my forever home and a family that I can continue to love unconditionally. Give me a few chew bones , an occasional toss of the stick and I will be the happiest big pitty ever! Take a peak at my adorable photos and I will melt your heart." If interested in adopting handsome Clooney, please submit an online application on the PAWS Ohio website @ www.pawsohio.org under the ADOPT tab. Thank you!

Story
Meet Hazel. She is a female Tricolor Bully. She is super sweet & extremely food motivated!! She knows basic commands, is a super gentle treat taker, rides well in the car. Hazel’s foster mom wrote this about her… Hazel is a sweet girl with tons of love to give. She takes a little time to warm up but once she does, there’s no going back. She loves cuddles and rubs and most of all treats! She can be defensive when her space is invaded by other animals so she would do best as an only pet. She is fully potty trained and does good in her crate. After a tough start in life, she deserves someone who will adore her and give her a nice, relaxing life. Female - spay date is 10/10/24 Will finish her vaccines on 10/22/24 HW Negative Positive for Lymes Weighs 64 lbs. Aprox. 3 years old She is available for foster to adopt.

Does well with kids, cats and other dogs! 🦴Mufasa would do best in a home with lots of interaction and space for him to run and/or active owners who will take him on adventures! 🦴 He does need a visit to the vet to be neutered and to get up to date on his shots but is otherwise very healthy and loveable! Kane’s Mission will pay for all vetting & supplies prior to adoption becoming official.

Story
Nino, who will be one year old this December, is a sweet, loving, and energetic dog. He enjoys walks, playing fetch, running around outside, and getting belly rubs. He is always smiling, especially when treats are involved. I adopted Nino in early February from my cousin who fosters dog, and he has been a joy in my life. However, with my demanding schedule between work and college, I'm finding it difficult to give him the attention and care he truly deserves. This has been a tough decision to make, but I truly believe that rehoming Nino will allow him to get the love, time, and attention he needs to thrive. It's heartbreaking for me to let him go, but I know it's what's best for him.

Story
In Olmsted Township - Hey everyone! Let us introduce you to Mr. Max R. Roni. Max is an almost 7 year old Australian Shepherd. He’s had a sad past, losing his home, his mom and dad and now looking for a forever home to accept him as he is. It’s time for Max to find his furever home and thrive. Max came to ASF grossly overweight. He has been with his foster for several months trying to get some of his weight off and to help him be happy again. He’s lost a lot of weight already and is feeling much better. Max is a gentle old soul. When in the house, he’s pretty chill… he’ll find his spot and most of the time he’ll hang there alone. He will bring you his tennis ball (his FAVORITE toy) and wants you to toss it once he gives it to you. Max really loves butt rubs and being petted. He gets super excited to go outside and play ball or chase or catch a rolled Frisbee. When it’s time to quit, he just finds a spot to lay down. Max gets nervous on car rides and isn’t a fan. He’s very content staying at home. Walks are okay; he’s a bigger boy so he does pull some. Max is great left in the house all day: no accidents, no destruction. He does like the couch and would prefer to share your bed. Max has an issue with resource guarding toys… all toys belong to Max. Thus, a home with a submissive female or as an only dog would be best. His submissive 2 year old female foster sister Aussie plays chase with him but will drop any toy she has when Max comes near. He wasn’t nice the first time, so she just lets him have any toy. (The male Aussie in the house did not back down and this didn’t go well at all.) Due to his resource guarding, a home with small children would not be advised nor any dominant dog. Max is a sweet boy who just needs to find the right home. Someone to pet him on the couch, toss the ball for him once in while, take him out in the yard while you work or enjoy sitting and watching the day pass. Max is neutered, microchipped, UTD on vaccines, housebroken, crate trained, and on HW/flea prevention. He is currently being fostered in Olmsted Township, OH. There is an additional $20 fee to transfer his microchip to his new owners. All adoption fees go to help rescue other dogs like Max.
