Story
Meet CC & Luna — a perfectly matched bonded pair of gentle hearts ready to fill your home with twice the love, twice the comfort, and double the devotion. These two sweet girls found their way to us after their beloved owner was hospitalized and sadly never made it back home. Through it all, they’ve leaned on each other — and now they’re hoping to find a new family where they can stay side by side, just as they’ve always been.Luna, a 6-year-old terrier mix weighing 29 lbs is your ultimate shadow and snuggle buddy. With her jet-black coat dusted in soft white around her muzzle and eyes, she carries a wise, soulful expression that matches her calm, loving nature. She’s the perfect blend of stroll-and-snooze — happy to join you for a nice walk (she’s great on leash!) and just as happy to curl up close for a cozy nap. Luna is wonderfully affectionate, famous for her gentle lean-ins and expert-level butt-scratch requests that are nearly impossible to refuse.CC, a 12-year-young cairn terrier mix who weighs 24 lbs, brings a quiet sweetness with just a touch of spunk. She enjoys her walks too, trotting politely by your side, then settling in for some well-earned relaxation. CC is all about the simple joys: a soft place to rest, a calm environment, and someone kind to share her days with. Her gentle spirit and steady companionship make her the kind of dog who turns everyday moments into something special. They’re both dog-friendly, used to sharing their space and their hearts, and would do best in a calm, loving home with older, respectful children. (Compatibility with cats is unknown.)Their energy level is low-to-medium, making them ideal companions for a relaxed household that appreciates quiet walks, cozy naps, and the simple joy of having loyal friends nearby. CC will need regular grooming to keep her soft coat looking its best, and both girls are already spayed and microchipped. They’re available through our foster-to-adopt program while they complete their vetting.CC & Luna don’t ask for much — just kindness, comfort, and a place to belong. In return, they’ll give you unwavering companionship, quiet affection, and the kind of bond that only comes from two best friends who love deeply. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to this sweet duo, please email dogadoptions@parmashelter.org and submit an online adoption application for CC and Luna. Their adoption fee together is $120.

Story
Appa is a one year old 75% great pyrenees mix. We do not know what he is mixed with. We purchased him from a grain farm as a puppy he has been crate trained, partially potty trained (he has occasional pee accidents). We waited until he was over 1 to have him neutered so that his bones were able to grow strong. He is trained for commands such as sit and stay. He is not aggressive at all. Loves others, protective and would work for any family home.He requires more attention than we can give due to our jobs. We are asking for what we paid for him $0. He has all shots and uptodate license. If you want his kennel and harness we will provide for an additional $150.

Story
Meet Sierra — a 7-year-old Pomsky princess with a snow-white coat, dazzling blue eyes, and runway-worthy strut that says, “Yes, I am the main character.” Weighing in at approx 35 pounds plus of fluff and fabulousness, Sierra walks through the shelter like she’s competing at Westminster and fully expects the judges to hand her Best in Show. Honestly? We get it.Sierra’s story started with heartbreak after being abandoned by her owner, so her past is a bit of a mystery. But what we do know is that this girl is an absolute gem. She keeps her kennel clean, handles shelter life with grace, and seems completely unbothered by the hustle and bustle of the other dogs around her.She has a medium energy level, meaning she’s down for a nice walk, a little exploring, and then happily settling in for cuddle time and beauty rest. Her gorgeous fluffy coat will need regular brushing and grooming to keep her looking as fabulous as she knows she is.Sierra is searching for the simple things in life: love, stability, belly rubs, and a forever home where she can finally relax and be cherished the way she deserves. Compatibility with dogs, cats, and children is currently unknown, but she’s been calm around the other shelter dogs.Sierra will be available through our foster-to-adopt program, which means you can welcome her home while she completes her routine vetting with our shelter veterinarian, including spay, vaccines, heartworm testing, and a microchip — everything she needs to begin her next chapter healthy, happy, and loved. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to this fluffy little superstar, please email and submit an online dog adoption application for Sierra. Her adoption fee is $160.

Story
Meet Willow — your future best friend with a warrior’s heart and a smile that could melt anyone.Willow is a 3-year-old Lab mix who’s as resilient as she is adorable. With her signature snaggletooth grin and bright spirit, she’s ready to charm her way right into your life. This sweet girl came to us when her previous owner could no longer keep her, and she arrived not feeling her best after ingesting something toxic. But true to her warrior nature, Willow bounced back in just a few days thanks to lots of love and care from our volunteers—and now she’s thriving.Willow is all about enjoying life’s little adventures. She has a medium to high energy level and loves her walks, especially when she can sniff every blade of grass and follow all the exciting scents around her. She’s playful, curious, and full of fun—always ready to brighten your day.According to her previous owner, Willow gets along well with both dogs and cats. If you already have a dog at home, a meet and greet is required to make sure everyone is a perfect match. Her compatibility with children is unknown at this time.Willow is housetrained and crate trained, and she keeps her kennel nice and tidy at the shelter. She’s a great eater and reportedly does well in the car—making her an easy companion whether you’re staying in or heading out on an adventure.Willow is already spayed and will complete the rest of her vetting (vaccines, microchip, and heartworm testing) through our foster-to-adopt program. That means she can start living with you while everything is finalized. If you’re looking for a sweet, spirited, and resilient companion with a one-of-a-kind smile, Willow might just be your girl. To meet Willow, please email dogadoptions@parmashelter.org or fill out a dog adoption application online. Willow’s adoption fee is $160.
