He is protective when other animals come into the yard like groundhogs and stray cats. He is very sociable with other dogs, especially small dogs right now he is living with a Maltese that he has come to enjoy as a playmate sharing toys and his food. This shows he is sociable and adaptable. King has been neutered and is up to date on his shots. King enjoys belly rubs, and being close to those who give love. The family members home already has 3 dogs and 3 children. She gets along with the other dogs and loves the kids. She likes to snuggle with her family members and play with toys. Buddy is a short haired jack russell terrier (mix or pure bred?) given to my friend several months because he was not getting along with a cat. He is well behaved and is learning commands. He’s very smart! He is very treat driven and we are using the clicker method and positive affirmations. He is a perfect weight and does not overeat and lets you know when he needs to potty. He’s full of energy and needs more exercise than my friend can offer, as she is elderly. But even without adequate exercise he is not destructive. He has not seen a vet for monetary reasons. He’s a really good boy with no behavioral problems such as barking when he’s bored. He just needs a home where he can get plenty of activity and be his sweet self! Whether he will get along with other dogs or children is unknown. He definitely does not get along with cats as his prey drive is high compatible with his breed. He likes to be by your side or in your lap and would make a great companion!

Nikko was handed down to me by his original owner who could no longer care for him. Had him for several months but unfortunately I can no longer give him the attention he needs due to busy work schedule. He's a very sweet and friendly dog. Very well potty trained and knows not to go inside the house. Can be stubborn at times but always very playful. He gets along with other dogs no problem. He's also great with kids! Loves to play and has never hurt another pet or person. Most dobermans have a reputation for being territorial and aggressive but he is not like any other doberman, everyone says the same thing when they meet him. I want him to find a home where he can get the most attention, love and care that he deserves. 8 years of age.
