George is an 8-year-old Shar Pei mix with a heart as big as his personality. Don’t let his age fool you—George still has plenty of energy and absolutely loves going for walks and being part of the action. Most of all, George loves his people. He is a true companion who will never leave your side. Wherever you are, George wants to be there too. Whether you’re relaxing on the couch, moving around the house, or settling in for the evening, he’ll happily follow along. He’s also an expert snuggler and has a special talent for finding the most comfortable spot in the house. Give him a cozy place to lie down, and he’ll be perfectly content. Of course, his favorite place is usually wherever his people are. Making the decision to surrender George is incredibly difficult. He is a very good dog and has done nothing wrong. Our lives and schedules have simply become busier, and we have realized that George needs more attention, companionship, and time than we are currently able to give him.

Story

Chloe was given to me when her abusive owner moved away in 2021. I had her spayed after her first cycle in my care. Chloe is about 7 years old. I have home cooked most of her meals, & learnt that she has poultry allergy. Every groomer and vet have found Chloe patient and friendly. 'The most gently Chow that have met.' Chloe has lived with 4 cats and another dogs. It takes about 2 supervised days to become familiar with new pets. She shares her food and toys with cats, but not as easily with other dogs, (especially male dogs). Winter snow is her playground! Needing a fenced yard & a few walks daily. Loving Chloe walks into arms for 'safe hugs'! She needs rubs and scratchies as often as possible, and endless words of praise and love. She is strong at 59#, and can 'guide' you on the walk. Chloe will 'protect' you if a strange person or animal approach you with her life. Obedient, Most Loving gentle & best friend a person could have is CHLOE. say 'Stop!', or 'leave it!' and she will.

Story

Rocky is 8 yrs old. He is honestly the best dog. He just needs loved! He is home for hours by himself. He doesn't chew on anything, no accidents in the house. I have had him for 6 years, I have only heard him bark or growl a handful of times. He has to feel something really off. He is great with any kids he has been around. The only issue is he is not good with other animals. The person I got him from gave me that information. He also has allergies but I dont know exactly to what. Apparently that is common with Pitbulls.

Story

Unfortunately we have to rehome our sweet and quirky girl, Luna. We adopted her two and a half years ago and now that our 17 month old son is more mobile, she is more anxious and has had behavior changes. She has never bit anyone since I have adopted her (and I was not told of any previous biting) but has snapped. This has mostly been during nail clippings and when she doesn’t like something my son does. Again, she has never actually bit someone which is why we do not want to pursue euthanasia. Luna is dog aggressive but does well with cats. She was very good with our son before he was mobile and would probably be fine with an older child that understands boundaries. We are trying but I can’t chance if something happens too quickly before we can mediate. Like I said before, she’s quirky. She is a cuddle bug and always wants to be the center of attention. She loves her chew toys, playing fetch, and her soft blankets. We hate to do this but I can’t risk my son getting hurt.

Usain is a Miniature Schnauzer - a smart, low-shedding breed known for being loyal and people-oriented. Usain came to me from Petland Strongsville, and I've been his home ever since he was just 2 months old. Usain is 3 years old (born January 27, 2023) full of energy but mellow when he's following your lead. I'm hoping to find a family who can give Usain a little more attention and time than I'm able to and that will love him. A home with or without kids is perfect what matters most is that someone has time to spend with him. He's the kind of dog who greets you at the door, follows you from room to room, and curls up at your feet at the end of the day. Curious, funny, playful, and a true Velcro dog until he decides to do his own thing. Toy-motivated and easy to train. Great with kids, he's made friends with the neighborhood kids, Almost stolen by the neighborhood kids. Good with other friendly dogs. Comes with his favorite toys, leash, and a bag of his current food.
