Kane is a very shy and sweet boy. He will need an adopter that is familiar with the breed and knows how to help him gain confidence. He is not a candidate for an adopter that hasn't had dogs in the past or any adopters with small children. He is crate and house trained for the most part. He does get nervous when you leave and sometimes has accidents in his crate. He is dog selective and would do best in a home with no other dogs. Kane is very smart and rings a bell on the door when he has to go outside to potty! He loves to nap on your lap and would make a great work from home buddy. He was abused when he was a little puppy and has an unusual bark. He's been through a lot and needs an adopter that will be patient while he adjusts to his new home.   Kane is up to date on all age appropriate vaccines, neutered , microchipped, dewormed and on flea/heartworm prevention.    Kane’s adoption fee is $200.     The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an application. ***BLAKE IS A COURTESY POST - HE IS NOT IN OUR CARE***   Blake is 3 yrs old and 65 lbs, neutered and up to date on vaccines.Blake is an owner surrender. His family had called a local vets to have him put to sleep for an incident with the cat he had lived with (we don't have any details of the situation). They reached out to someone for help and they ended up taking him so he wouldn’t be euthanized. He is currently at a local boarding facility but needs a forever home. He is housebroken. He is dog friendly (but we haven’t introduced him to dogs under 30 pounds). Poor Lonnie! Lonnie and his brother were dropped off at a boarding facility in the fall of 2022. Sadly, their owner never came back for them. His brother has since been adopted, but Lonnie is still looking for his forever home. Lonnie is a 5 year old pit bull who is a happy, energetic guy who weighs around 65 pounds. He likes everyone he has met. He is a gentleman in the tub , and enjoys going for walks.  He is good with other dogs, but we have not seen him around cats. Cheerio is such a sweet little puppy! He has a heart shape on his forehead. He is still very young and is not potty trained yet. He will not be allowed to go to his forever home until the week of March 25, 2024. He will be neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, dewormed and microchipped. Cheerio's adoption fee is $350. He came to us from a home with a lot of different breed dogs. His mother is hound but his father could have been a variety of different dogs but they believe his father was a chihuahua mix. I am crate-trained, however I would rather cuddle in a warm blanket or pillows with you. I have a little separation anxiety and will bark when someone leaves.
