Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Ginger has been part of our family for over 8 years. My brother and sister-in-law adopted her at about a year and a half old, to grow up with their son Alec. She is very bonded with her 'brother' Skooter who was adopted about 6 years ago. They hope to remain together. My sister-in-law and brother have both passed away, about 18 months apart. I moved into their house with my nephew, Alec, and both dogs in October of 2021. Our circumstances are now changing, and we cannot keep the dogs. Ginger is very loving, playful, protective, assertive, not overly friendly with strangers, and territorial. She does not always do well with meeting other dogs. Ginger is fearful of loud noises- thunder, fireworks, gun shots. She has exceptional hearing, and will bark at anything she sees outside. She needs to be introduced to new people slowly, and would not do well around small kids. She is resistant to being brushed, or having her toenails trimmed, but has been to groomers in the past.

Story
Skooter has been part of our family for over 6 years. My brother and sister-in-law adopted him at about a year and a half old, as a playmate for his 'sister' Ginger and my nephew Alec. Skooter iand Ginger are very bonded and hope to remain together. My sister-in-law and brother have both passed away, about 18 months apart. I moved into their house with my nephew, Alec, and both dogs in October of 2021. Our circumstances are now changing, and we cannot keep the dogs. Skooter is very loving, playful, protective, assertive, and friendly. He loves everyone, especially if they give him a treat. He may do well with other dogs by himself. Skooter is fearful of loud noises- thunder, fireworks, gun shots. He barks and whines at dogs or people walking by, and doesn't like animals in his yard. He may have separation anxiety - gets very excited whenever we come home. Skooter loves to be brushed, does not like baths, and does okay with the vet. He has been to groomers.in the past.

Story
Lulu was a rescue from out of state. She is currently 50 lbs and 5 months old. We discussed with the rescue that we were looking fir a small breed of dog, and as it turns out she has gained 35 lbs in 2 months. Because of the ages and size of our children, and our size of our living space, we are not prepared for a large dog. Lulu is sweet and kind. She still nips or tugs on clothes, but not much unless she's playing. She can sit, fetch, and enjoys walks often. We are hoping to find her a loving home. Sge is not fully house trained, but we have been working on it with her.

Mabi is a German Wirehaired Pointing Griffon. She was born on April 4, 2019. She’s 4 and a half years old. Very lovey and smart. She’s playful and very active. Loves to run laps in the yard. She is a hunting dog , always trying to search for something. She only barks when it’s necessary. Healthy and strong. She’s beautiful. I just want the lucky new owner to give her love and attention.

Story
Hi! My name is Jack, I am 11yrs old male bichon turning 12 on January 4, 2024. I was rescued when I was 4yrs old from a high kill shelter in Californa. If anyone wonders, I was found wondering on the streets of Coachella but no one tried to find me and that’s how I ended up in a shelter. I was a gift to a young girl and now that she went off to college, I was left to her parents to care for. Unfortunately, their job requires them to leave the house a lot, even be away for so many days causing a big challenge for them and me. I am knocking on your door and hoping to find another owner who can stay with me full time. I don’t prefer to be around kids anymore, I am too old and running or being bump into hurts me and I get a little grumpy sometimes. Please take me home, I am a well trained dog. Thank you for your time reading my story.

Story
We just rescued Leo from a farm in California where he was covered in ticks and pee. We cleaned him up, gave him tick and flea medicine, and started him in obedience school. We planned to keep Leo, but unexpectedly had to take on a very busy schedule. He's an incredibly sweet, cuddly, playful pup, and he's great around kids and other dogs. The vet guessed he's around 2 years old, and we know he would make a wonderful family pet. While he is potty and crate trained and able to be alone for hours at a time, he does have a lot of energy, so his new owners should expect to take him on walks and play with him when possible.
