Story
and energetic 5-year-old husky Zuma, loves daily walks and would be a great exercise and adventure companion. Zuma LOVES kids and has been raised with young children in his home. He has lived with his current owners since he was a puppy. He has the most gorgeous blue eyes and is not bothered by inclement WA weather! Tall and gorgeous, ZUMA weighs 62lbs. Zuma is leash trained He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys dog play after the appropriate amount of warming up time. Cats are unknown because he’s never been around them. Zuma is super smart, knows his basic commands and loves to play fetch. He is house trained and crate trained too. Zuma can be trusted to be alone in the house, but he does enjoy and seek out his crate often. Not surprisingly, Zuma loves people the most, especially men. He’s a real “pleaser” and needs and loves his daily exercise. He prefers a good walk or fetch-time rather than a long hike and definitely needs a new family that is active and has time for him. Zuma does great in the car and loves car rides- so he’d make a good adventure or errand buddy too. Zuma loves the beach and the water. This super fun and most deserving boy is vaccinated and neutered. Zuma is available to meet at his home in Enumclaw. Please contact his mom Ellie at elliesheaburbank@gmail.com or 253-259-0569.

Story
We adopted our sweet girl when she was about a year old, and she’s been part of our family ever since. She’s an active, affectionate husky who loves long walks, daycare playtime, and soaking up all the attention she can get. For the past five years, she’s been my loyal walking buddy—always excited to meet new people and collect a few extra pets along the way. She’s food-motivated (treats are her love language!) and adores being part of family activities. While she’s not particularly into toys, she enjoys puzzles and chew toys that challenge her mind and help her burn energy. She truly is a loving, gentle soul who thrives on companionship and attention. Like many huskies, she has plenty of energy and would do best with someone or a family who can give her the time, exercise, and affection she deserves. Unfortunately, our situation has changed over the last few years and despite doing our best to make sure she has the home she deserves, we can tell she deserves more.

Story
We unfortunately need to rehome Roxi for she is not compatible with our other dog. She is just to tough for his small frame :) She has social anxiety and will need someone with training experience and time to work with her. She is better with people than she used to be but needs continued training. She is house and crate trained and responds well to treat based training.Due to her breed size the vet doesnt want her spayed until she is 1 and a half years old. She is a very very very sweet girl, very mellow, and a huge cuddler! She loves walks and is a people pleaser.

We have an amazing German Shepherd up for rehoming! He is 5 years old but active dog. Very healthy no ear infection or hip issues! He obeys commands, and takes his property guardian job seriously. Our living situation no longer permits us to keep him much longer. We are sad see him go, but life happens. We are willing to help with neutering cost of up to $250

Meet the most amazing husky-lab mix Sandman! One-year-old Sandman is urgent need of a new foster or adopter. His good-Samaritan family cannot keep him much longer and this perfect pup deserves a great forever home. Sandman is a big sweetheart- 80lbs of pure love. He was rescued from a crappy and neglectful owner in Moses Lake and boy are we glad we did! Sandman is super friendly, very social and loves attention from everyone- adults, kids, dogs and even cats! Sandman would make a great play partner for a resident dog, but he also will be fine as an only dog with occasional dog visitors. Sandman is still young so his energy level is higher so he needs an active family. A long daily walk for sure, or a runner or hiker even better! He LOVES children and currently in foster with a 14-year-old, 4-year-old and a 2-year-old- plus another dog and a cat! Sandman is good on the leash and is working on more basic skills in addition to sit and down. He is house-trained and getting used to the crate too. Sandman would really dig taking a training class with you as he is super smart and takes correction well. Sandman is super loyal and food motivated and will quickly be the star of any class. He’s not much of a barker, only when you want him to be with a door knock etc. Handsome and charming Sandman is neutered and vaccinated. His foster family in Moses Lake loves him. Melissa describes him as a big, lovable goofball! Transport to the west side can be arranged. Please contact foster mom Melissa at melissabettelyoun@yahoo.com or 360-809-5743 to set up a meet and greet or questions. She loves singing his praises! Sandman is ready and able to be the star of your lives and get all the love, time and attention he deserves!

Story
If your dream dog is whip-smart, diligent, loyal, athletic, playful, and affectionate, six year old Rey may just be the One! She is a brainy, brawny, and bubbly brindle beauty who loves to learn and works extra hard to please. Beautiful Rey is a six-year old female greyhound mix rescued from South Korea. She has a the cool- striped brindle coat, an alert expression, and plenty of energy. Friendly, outgoing and literally a “hugger”, Rey loves all humans, though she might love men even a little extra! This girl is surprisingly strong and could probably pull a 747 without breaking a sweat. The best home for Rey will be one which gives her space to exercise, ideally in her own yard, and lots of mental and physical activity. Like most extra smart canines regardless of species, Rey needs to be kept mentally stimulated to avoid slipping into mischief. Rey’s ideal family will keep her intellectually engaged with learning new things, going to interesting places, and sharing their life’s adventures with her. Flyball, agility, doggie sports or service work would be great ways to keep her mind challenged. While it isn’t a must for her to live with people who are home all the time, Rey would love if her people were around her a lot. Rey loves going on car rides -short or long- because she knows they take her to new places and reveal interesting things! One of Rey’s favorite things is to tear a stuffed toy apart from limb to limb; when she finally locates the squeaker she is in bliss. Because most humans don’t approve of toy destruction, Rey has had many toys taken away from her. As a result, when it comes to her toys she has learned not to trust most people, because so many people have “stolen” so many toys before she could destroy them properly! This is why Rey must go to a home without kids. Rey just doesn’t trust people with her valuables (like toys) until she really knows them first. Once she does trust you though she can be convinced to relax her toy vigilance with savvy handling. This girl’s trust can be earned with just lots of treats, play, and cuddles or belly rubs. GPI’s trainer will teach Rey’s new family methods for interacting with Rey and her toys in four free one-on-one training sessions, and offer priority paid sessions thereafter as needed. She must be the only dog in the household as she wants to protect “her” people and space, as well as food and toys, from other dogs. Apart from this, Rey is very tolerant of other dogs, even in close proximity. But she doesn’t seem at all interested in making dog friends. She absolutely can never live with cats or other small animals. Rey is good on a leash, non-reactive when passing other dogs, and will make a wonderful- albeit really strong -walking companion. Rey is spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped. With a savvy handler, she is well behaved in most public places, though places like pet supply stores where she can easily snag a toy she considers valuable should be avoided. This is how the person who best knows Rey sums her up: “If you look up love and loyalty in the dictionary you will see Rey’s picture. All this girl wants is to work for the one she loves. Her love is easy to earn. Rey craves mental and physical enrichment, trust, and affection. A little play, show her you're a giver not a taker, and some belly rubs is all it would take for this extraordinary girl to give her whole self to you.” To meet Rey in Woodinville at Greyhound Pets Inc, contact Moira at fastpaws1998@gmail.com.
