Story
** Currently fostered in Houston Texas, but available for adoption out of state via rescue transportation, included in adoption fee. Offer Zoom call to virtually meet prior to adoption. Meet Barkley! This sweet baby wandered up on someone's property. He was wearing a harness on that had the brand name boots and barkley, so that's where the finder got his name. Barkley was chipped, but unfortunately it was not registered. It shows that he was adopted in January2023, and that he is estimated about 5 years of age. He currently weighs around 55 lbs and we believe him to be a border collie/cattle dog mix. He has energy and he loves to run and play, but can be a couch potato too. His favorite thing in the world is to play fetch with a ball! Barkley likes other dogs if they are female, but has not been a fan of males. We believe it's from a lack of social time with other dogs because he doesn't come off as just an aggressive pup, he just seems like he was kept in a yard and ignored a lot of the time prior to rescue and may not be familiar with most dogs. Barkley clearly knows his basic commands, such as sit, kennel, shake and settle. He is highly toy and food motivated and responds wonderfully to focused training. With continued training, we could even see him being an agility pup! Barkley is crate trained, housebroken and does well on leash. He is fully vetted, meaning he us neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped and on monthly preventions for flea, tick and heartworm. Story
*Currently fostered in Houston Texas, available for out of state adoptions via rescue transportation. Video meet and greet available prior to commitment* This dog is a collaborative effort between Moka's Mission and Houston Chow Chow Connection. Mocha is a fluffy mixed pup just eager to find her new lease in life. She was rescued from a kill shelter in Texas just moments before being euthanized. She is believed to be around 4 years old, and based on behaviors definitely has GSD, Chow Chow, and even possibly husky mixed in her as well. Current weight around 65, 70 lbs. Mocha is a smiling, eager to please, extremely intelligent pup who clearly has been desperate for reaching a potential that was never offered to her prior. She loves to play with toys now, ( was unfamiliar with on arrival) and can be quirky, and vocal during her playful bouts. A game of tug which result in some head pats is her favorite. She also is very smart, and when given attention and motivation is quick to learn. She already knows several basic commands including sit, shake, kennel, wait, settle, and leave it. She is extremely versatile and once she trusts you, will give you her best. If you want to go hiking or exercise, she is all about it. If you want a pup to relax in the home and enjoy a movie day, she is ready! She loves to curl up on the couch or at your feet when it's time to settle down, but when it's time to go she is the first one to be there and ready for you. She also loves to keep you company while you do the most menial house chore's such as laundry or dishes. Mocha clearly was kept away from other dogs and animals when she was owned previously, so we do think she'd be best as an only pup. Proper continued socialization training would be required in order for her to eventually be able to share space with other dogs, but she would need to be socialized as an only dog first before considering adding another in. She clearly has a desire to want to know other dogs and can walk by them and flirt while on leash just fine during walks. However, she hasn't had enough time and proper playmates to engage in playtime at present without being rough. Unfortunately, she is not ok with cats, which is to be expected of the breeds she possesses. Mocha is fully vetted meaning she is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped and on monthly prevention for flea, tick, and heartworm. Her adoption fee and transport is dependent on services used. Story
Nova is a 35lb adult (5yr-ish) French bulldog mix. She is incredibly sweet and affectionate and would love to find a forever home. She is still working on her housetraining (great with #1, still working on #2). She walks perfectly on a leash and adores snuggles and couch naps. She loves to show her excitement by wagging her whole body! She came into the rescue with a number of health issues - like most Frenchies - and needs an adopter who understands the financial committments of owning this wonderful, but expensive breed. She had a corneal ulcer (being treated with eye medication), a UTI (treated), unaltered (we fixed her), and with heartworms (she's on the slow kill treatment). Despite all of that, her spirit is amazing - full of love and happiness!! Nova is located in Houston TX and will only be transported upon completed adoption. Her adoption fee is $400. Inquiries will not be responded to unless a completed application has been sent. You can fill out an application at www.recycleddogsrescue.org. You must fill out all of the blanks in the application - put "n/a" if one question is not applicable to you.

Story
Meet Mocha🤎🩵— A Precious Momma With a Rough Start in Life, Hoping For a Forever Family🌼 Here are more photo & videos of Mocha: https://www.instagram.com/p/DU90dZ6EW9O/?hl=en Mocha was a pregnant stray who gave birth to her babies at the Icheon Municipal Shelter. Fortunately, all of her babies were rescued, but unfortunately for Mocha, she was left behind. In Korea, puppies and younger dogs are saved over older dogs due their higher chance of adoption. Thankfully, Mocha was rescued before euthanasia. After that, she has been fostered for over three years without one single inquiry for adoption in Korea. In Korea, mix breeds, older, and abandoned dogs are stigmatized and face very little chance of adoption. Once her foster can’t foster anymore, she will have to be moved back to the rescue center, leaving a home life behind. Name: Mocha Age: 7 years old Gender: Female Weight: 16.3 lbs Spayed: Yes Good with dogs? She is friendly and gets along well with other dogs, although she is a bit afraid of bigger dogs. Her foster takes her to doggy daycare, and her social skills are improving. Good with cats? She has no interest in cats Good with kids? She has not met children yet Sociability with people Men: She is very shy around men and tends to feel a bit scared. Women: She may be shy at first, but she slowly becomes more comfortable over time. Potty trained? Yes, outdoor potty Good on leash? She does not pull much. The shorter the leash is held, the more she naturally matches her handler’s pace and walks nicely alongside. Barker? No. Other than occasional barking when she is very excited or playful, she is generally quiet. Separation anxiety? No Mouthiness / Nipping? None Behavioral issues She tends to get carsick and is afraid of plastic bag noises, plastic bottle sounds, and vacuum cleaners Health Notes No known health issues Personality / Habits She enjoys sleeping together on the same bed with her person Things she loves She absolutely loves being petted! Recently, she has also been enjoying nose work toys. Ideal family A family who can take her on frequent walks, patiently help her get used to cars or public transportation, and give her time to adjust at her own pace. Mocha is timid and takes time to warm up to new people, which reflects her cautious and gentle nature. Once she builds trust, she becomes incredibly affectionate. She loves being with her person and will make a wonderful, loving companion. She eats her meals and treats very well and especially loves fruit! This special girl is ready find her forever family!🌟💗 Mocha's adoption fee is reduced- $550, plus $240 for US customs entry and broker fee. Please contact us with any inquiries/fill out the adoption application via the link in our Instagram bio.🌼

Story
Harley 2 is ready to travel to a community that will truly cherish him as a family member. He is currently in Oklahoma at our rescue. Because we want his transition to be as smooth as possible, we arrange direct-to-adopter transport to specific cities (listed below!). Adoptions are finalized in advance so that Harley can hop off the transport and right into your waiting arms. We stand by our pups for life—in the rare event it isn't a perfect match, Harley is never without a safety net; he will simply return to our care in Oklahoma on the next available transport until his perfect home is found. Meet Harley 2! 🐾 A social, sweet 1.5-year-old Chiweenie with a heart of gold. Harley 2 is a little guy with a lot of love to give! He is a charming Male Chiweenie who is just entering the prime of his life. After being surrendered to a local shelter, he’s now looking for a fresh start with a family that understands his "little dog" perspective and is ready to welcome a loyal companion. Why We Love Harley: A Friend to All Paws: Harley is quite the social butterfly and gets along well with other dogs! He’d be a great addition to a home with a resident pup to show him the ropes. A Crate Superstar: He is a total pro in his crate at the rescue. He’s quiet, settled, and treats it like his own little sanctuary. A Gentle Soul: He recently had a wonderful first meeting with a female adult (be sure to check out the video in this listing to see his sweet, tail-wagging greeting!). The Perfect Match: While Harley is a sweetheart, he previously lived with a 2-year-old that the parents let play in his food bowl when he was eating. To make sure he feels safe and confident, we are looking for a home with children aged 5 or older (or an adult-only household) where he can thrive in a calmer and smarter environment. Video of Harley 2 from March 11: https://youtube.com/shorts/RdzEOFYsFK8 Health & Wellness Harley is a healthy boy and will arrive at his new home fully "vetted" and ready for a fresh start! His adoption includes: Fully Vetted: Harley is already neutered and up-to-date on all his essential vaccinations (Rabies, DHLPP series, and Bordetella). Prevention: He has been dewormed, is heartworm negative, and is kept on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Safety First: To ensure he is in tip-top shape for his new family, he will be microchipped and receive a fresh fecal exam and a certified Health Certificate—all performed within 10 days of his transport date. Adoption Details Harley’s adoption fee is $900. This fee is all-inclusive, covering his neuter, all veterinary care listed above, and his seat on a professional transport service dedicated to getting him safely to your area.
