Gerty is the goodest girl! I am devastated that we have to get rid of her. I am a newly divorced single mama of three kids and two of them have severe disabilities so my plate is too full to give Gerty what she needs. We've recently entered low income housing and cannot keep her. She needs a good family to live out the rest of her days. She is a beautiful and well behaved dog who needs a place to run! You'd be crazy not to pick her! Just be aware that she is an alpha so she will need an introduction in order to suite compatibility with other pets.

Story
Hi! My name is Beau and I am available for adoption!I am a sweet, loyal, excitable American Bulldog mix, weighing around ~90 lbs, who wants to get out there in the world and play! I am super treat and toy motivated. I can get excitable when the toys come out, but am quite the gentle giant when it comes to it. Sometimes I can`t make up my mind which toy I want to play with, and try to take multiple with me!I am smart and will happily `sit` and `shake` for treats and toys. I am also super affectionate and enjoy belly rubs and ear scratches. I love my walkies and would enjoy learning how to walk better on a leash so I can go on even more adventures!I am dog friendly! I am a member of RASKC`s playgroup pals and really enjoy playing with dogs that can match my energy! Ask staff if you would like to know which dogs I have met and how I interact with other dogs when you come to meet me. I was nominated for Pet of the Week on October 28, 2025 when I was here at RASKC before. I just love the people there so much that I like to visit them! This means that my adoption fee has been reduced. This adoption fee includes a King County pet license (if applicable). This helps my safe return home should I become lost, and comes with additional benefits such as Vacation Pet Alert, Free Ride Home and more. I also come with a collar and a leash! If you are looking for a smart and affectionate boy to add to you family and are ready to fall in love with my pawesome self. I am currently in a foster home, please fill out a foster interest form if you would like the chance to meet me :)

Story
Hi! My name is Tadpole and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by a good samaritan on March 16, 2026.I weigh 46.0 lbs and am considered a `medium breed` dog. I am quite the perfect size if I do say so myself!I can be a little shy at first, but I warm up to people fast especially if they have yummy treats. I am still working on `gentle` when it comes to eating treats though.I know `sit`, walk great on leash and appear to be potty-trained :)I also seem to be dog social as well. When meeting other dogs I would benefit from a SLOW introduction. If you have been wanting a sweet ball of energy to add some meaning to your life I could be what you`re looking for!I am a gentle and loving dog who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might take some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend!

Story
Hi! My name is Quinn and I am available for adoption!I am a friendly, energetic young man looking for an active family. I love playing with stuffies and will roll over and entertain myself with them. My caregivers say it is pretty cute. :) I love to have an `emotional support stuffie` to chew on hand. It helps me keep my mind busy and chewing helps me calm down.I am very eager to please and walk nicely on leash.I am affectionate and like to lean in for pets. I can, however, be a typical aloof shepherd when first meeting. I can spook easily when meeting new people, so please take things slow when getting to know me and introduce me to the world.I am a member of RASKC`s playgroup pals! Ask staff if you would like to know how I interact with other dogs! When meeting new dogs in a home it is always best practice to do introductions slowly.I am a large breed dog and I weigh about 76 lbs.You can visit me at the Pet Adoption Center on weekdays from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.The Pet Adoption Center is located at 21615 64th Ave S, Kent, WA 98032.Come and visit me today, I would love to go home with you!

Story
Hi! My name is Chanel, and I’m ready to find my forever home.I came in on March 11, 2026, thanks to a kind good samaritan. I did have a microchip, but sadly my previous owner never came for me—so now I’m hoping the universe has something even better in store. At 81 lbs, I’m a big, soft-hearted girl (a true “large breed” cuddle expert!). I’ll admit—I’m a little on the chonky side and could stand to lose about 5–10 lbs. The good news? I love peaceful walks, fresh air, and stopping to smell absolutely everything—very go-with-the-flow, just like a classic Pisces zodiac sign. With a loving routine, I’ll be feeling my best in no time!I recently spent time in a foster home where they learned I feel safest when kenneled if left alone—otherwise, my curious (and slightly mischievous) side can get me into trouble. My caregivers are happy to help you learn how to crate-train me so I can feel secure and relaxed. My foster described me as:“Very nice, no barking, very snuggly, gentle with all people, and walks nicely on leash.”That pretty much sums me up—I’m a dreamy, affectionate soul who just wants to connect. Like a true Pisces, I’m intuitive, gentle, and happiest when I’m close to my people.I’m a spirited girl with a playful side, and I’m still learning my manners. I’d thrive with a family who will guide me with patience, love, and consistency—someone who sees my potential and wants to help me shine. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion with a big heart and an even bigger cuddle game… I just might be your perfect match
