Story
Hi, my name is Ford and I`m available for adoption! I`m a 2yr 1mo old male Pit Bull/Labrador Retriever dog, black/white (ID #A737844). I am considered a large to medium breed dog. I am a silly and energetic boy who has quite the personality! I love to run around the yard and play and am very good at fetch! At RASKC I keep my kennel very clean and am very gentle with my stuffed animals. I am incredibly food motivated and will do just about anything you ask for a treat! This will be very helpful for teaching me new skills! I already know how to sit and wait, but am eager to learn more!I am the sweetest boy and a big `ole affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home! I am a big baby and will sit right on you an demand love and scratches.I may be good with other dogs. The person who found me said I was very excited when I saw other dogs! When meeting new dogs a slow introduction is always recommended. If you would like to bring your dog to the shelter to meet me that would be good!I am neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped! My adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet insurance through Trupanion. I was nominated for Pet of the Week on December 2, 2025. This means that my adoption fee has been reduced! This adoption fee includes a King County pet license (if applicable). This helps my safe return home should I become lost, and comes with additional benefits such as Vacation Pet Alert, Free Ride Home and more (visit our pet licensing page for more info)! If you are looking for an energetic and handsome boy to add to your family and are ready to fall in love with my pawesome self, please come down to RASKC to visit me! You can find out more about me and my other friends on our website at www.kingcounty.gov/adoptapet. Also look for me on Instagram with #fordkingcountypetsa737844. Hi there, My name is Peter and it is an absolute pleasure to meet you!I weigh 52 lbs and am considered a `medium breed` dog.I am a very smart dog! At the shelter I am practicing how to `sit`, `stay`, `down`, `shake` (both paws) and i`ll even sit pretty for treats.I am an independent dog who likes to do my own thing!I am full of energy and I love to play! I tend to calm down more when the people around me stay calm. I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy.I would do best in a home with teens and adults. During my time here at the shelter I have shown that I like to have my space when I want it. Also I`m not the biggest fan of vets :DA home that has Heeler experience would be the best home for me!I am a spirited dog with a fun-loving personality! I am still working on my manners, so I would do best with a family who is willing to work with me and help me become the best dog I can be!You can visit me at the Pet Adoption Center on weekdays from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The Pet Adoption Center is located at 21615 64th Ave S, Kent, WA 98032.Come and visit me today, I`d love to go home with you!

It belonged to an aunt who had to move, and I've had him since May 2025, but the time I can spend with him is minimal. My work schedule keeps me away from home from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, so he needs more time with people. He's one year and six months old.
