Story
Gerty is the goodest girl! I am devastated that we have to get rid of her. I am a newly divorced single mama of three kids and two of them have severe disabilities so my plate is too full to give Gerty what she needs. We've recently entered low income housing and cannot keep her. She needs a good family to live out the rest of her days. She is a beautiful and well behaved dog who needs a place to run! You'd be crazy not to pick her! Just be aware that she is an alpha so she will need an introduction in order to suite compatibility with other pets.

Story
Hi! My name is Carma and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by my previous owner on 2/1/26 because they could no longer care for me. I lived in a home with other cats and dogs. I weigh 75 lbs and am considered a `large breed` dog. I am quite chonky and should be about 10 lbs lighter :)I am a very smart dog! I am potty trained and crate trained. I am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home!My caregivers have noticed that I seem to do well with other dogs and lived with cats previously. When meeting pets in a new home, I would do best with a slow introduction.I am an adaptable dog who loves to go with the flow! I am outgoing and carefree, and I just can`t wait to find my forever home!I am currently in a foster home, if you would like to meet me please fill out a foster interest form!

Hi! My name is Nile and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by a good Samaritan on 2/11/26.I am considered a `large breed` dog.I am a very smart dog! I know how to `sit`, `down` and `shake`.I am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home!I am full of energy and I love to play! I tend to calm down more when the people around me stay calm. I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy.I am a gentle and loving dog who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might take some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend!

Story
Gus is a Pomsky, a boutique breed, Pomeranian and Husky were combined. He was born on May 12, 2025 so he is 9 months old. This guy is very energetic, likes exercise and mentally stimulating games. He is a smart pup. He also likes to chase soccer balls, base balls, any type of ball. He loves both hard and soft chew toys. It is really important to have chew toys because Pomskys, especially pups love to chew. Gus is house trained and rings a bell to go outside. He can sit, lay down, stay, and waits for a signal to eat his food. He is also a loose leash walker. Gus is neutered, up to date on all of his shots, and has been chipped. Gus wants to be friends with everyone and is a very social dog. This little guy has two dog companions and gets along with them. He also likes meeting new dogs. He is great with children. When Gus is tired he is cuddly. Gus would be a great fit for an active family where he gets regular exercise and attention. Little dude is a lover.

Hi! My name is Gertie and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by a good Samaritan on 02/16/2026.I weigh 35 lbs and am considered a medium breed dog.I am a very smart dog! At the shelter I am practicing how to `sit`, `stay`, `come`, `down` and `shake`.I am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home!I am an independent dog who likes to do my own thing!I am full of energy and I love to play! I tend to calm down more when the people around me stay calm. I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy.My caregivers have noticed that I seem to do well with other [small dogs/large dogs]. When meeting dogs in a new home, I would do best with a slow introduction.I will need to find a home where someone is available for me in these early days. It is important to be consistent with me and socialize me so I can have the best companionship with people and other animals. Puppies require patience because everything is brand new so I will need some TLC while I learn. If you and your family are ready to fall in love my awesome self, please check me out!!

Story
Hi, my name is Max and I`m available for adoption! I am a 7 year old male Pit Bull Terrier, with grey and white fur. I was brought to RASKC because my owner could no longer care for me. He had nothing but wonderful things to say about me, especially about how I love everyone that I meet! I may weigh 70 lbs, but I mind my manners around people of all ages! I`ve lived with kids as young as 3. I am also a very smart dog! I came to the shelter already knowing how to sit, lay down, shake, kennel up, and stay! I also walk very well on a leash.I have had positive experiences with other dogs. However, when meeting dogs in a new home I would do best with a slow introduction. You should bring any dogs at home to meet me here at the shelter to make sure our vibes match!I was nominated for Pet of the Week on February 24, 2026. This means that my adoption fee has been reduced! This adoption fee includes a King County pet license (if applicable). This helps my safe return home should I become lost, and comes with additional benefits such as Vacation Pet Alert, Free Ride Home and more!I am currently living with a wonderful foster parent who is providing me housing so I can get out of the shelter! If you are interested in adopting me, you can click the link below and put in an interest-to-meet request using my name and animal ID! (ID #742373) I`d love to meet you!
