Hi! My name is Fergie and I am available for adoption.I was brought to RASKC on February 16, 2026. I was adopted and returned on April 16, 2026 because it just wasn`t a good fit.I weigh 45.0 lbs and am considered a `medium breed` dog. Although I am short and stocky I am a BALL OF ENERGY! I love to go on on long walks and play. Due to my high energy I would do best in a home without younger children.I am a dog who knows that I am the Queen. I would do best in a house as the only pet so that I can get all of the attention I want, when I want it.I am a smart dog and love yummy treats. I will happily `sit` for them.I am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home!I am a spirited dog with a fun-loving personality! I am still working on my manners, so I would do best with a family who is willing to work with me and help me become the best dog I can be!

Story
Hi! My name is Lulu and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by an Animal Control Officer after I was found tied to a tree. I am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home!Because of my shy nature, I would do best in a calm, quiet home.I would do best in a home with older children.I have been known to resource guard, meaning that I am displaying behavior that is intended to convince other dogs or humans to stay away from a particular treasure or `resource.` The resource that I tend to guard is food. If you take me home you will benefit from in home guidance to help to manage and improve this behavior.I am a gentle and loving dog who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might take some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend!

Story
My name is Whisp, and I’m ready to light up your life!I arrived at RASKC on March 10, 2026, after being abandoned at a park with all my belongings. When I first came in, I weighed just 35 lbs and was very underweight—but with lots of care and regular meals, I’ve already made amazing progress and am up to 42 lbs! My healthy goal is around 45–50 lbs, and I’m well on my way.At first, I wasn’t sure about people (can you blame me?), but once I realized I was safe, my true personality started to shine. Now I’m all about love, attention, and giving as many kisses as you’ll allow! I’m a sweet, affectionate girl with a bright, bold spirit—very fitting for a Leo zodiac sign.Leos are known for their big hearts, confidence, and love of being around their people—and that’s me to a tee! I adore attention, thrive on connection, and bring a warm, joyful energy wherever I go.I’m an active pup who loves to run, play, and go on long walks. If you’re looking for a companion to keep you moving and smiling, I’m your girl! I can be a little jumpy sometimes, but that’s just my excitement bubbling over—I’m so happy to meet new friends. The good news is I’m very food-motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding for both of us!I’ve met some dogs here and seem to be particular about my playmates. I would do best as the only dog at home as I do NOT want to share my humans` love and attention. I’ve been through a lot, but I haven’t lost my sparkle. I’m ready for a fresh start with a family who will love me, guide me, and let me shine like the star I am.Come meet me—I have a feeling we’re meant to find each other.
