Hi! My name is Buddy and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by a good samaritan on 06/05/2026.I weight 56.0 lbs and am considered a medium breed dog.I am a very smart dog! At the shelter I am practicing how to `sit`, `stay`, `come`, `down` and `shake`.I am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home!I am full of energy and I love to play! I tend to calm down more when the people around me stay calm. I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy.My caregivers have noticed that I seem to do well with other around my size. When meeting dogs in a new home, I would do best with a slow introduction.I`m a Playgroup Pal! Ask the staff today about my interactions with other dogs at the shelter in our Playgroups.I am a gentle and loving dog who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might take some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend!I am a spirited dog with a fun-loving personality! I am still working on my manners, so I would do best with a family who is willing to work with me and help me become the best dog I can be!

Story
Hi there, my name is Sinjo and I`m ready for adoption!I was brought in when my previous owner was no longer able to take care of me.I weigh 106 lbs and am considered a `large breed` dog.At RASKC I keep my kennel very clean and I am gentle with my toys! I am very potty trained and will hold it for the dog walkers!I can be an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home, but I can also be an independent dog who likes to do my own thing at times! My caregivers have noticed that I seem to do well with other large dogs. When meeting dogs in a new home, I would do best with a slow introduction.I am an adaptable dog who loves to go with the flow! I am outgoing and carefree, and I just can`t wait to find my forever home!I am a gentle and loving dog who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might take some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend!

Hi! My name is Nile and I am available for adoption.I am a very sweet, wiggly boy who loves affection and butt scritches! Everyone that meets me falls in love with me. :) Even when my caretakers take me in the yard I just sit right next to them asking for attention! Even tho Im a medium size dog I will still sit right on your lap!I like to play and go for walks with volunteers. I am very engaged with my handlers and like to check in.I keep my kennel incredibly clean! I am gentle with my toys and I am very well potty trained!I am smart and already know how to `sit`, `down,` `come,` `leave it,` and `shake`.I have done well with other big dogs who dont mind my rowdy play style! If you want to bring your dog to RASKC I would love to meet them! My caretakers suspect that I would do best in a home with someone or some-pup at home with me to keep me company at all times.I do best when I have a job to do or something to keep my mind busy.I would do best in a home without cats or small animals. You can visit me at the Pet Adoption Center on weekdays from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The Pet Adoption Center is located at 21615 64th Ave S, Kent, WA 98032.Come and visit me today, I`d love to go home with you!

Story
Hi! My name is Fergie and I am available for adoption.I was brought to RASKC on February 16, 2026. I was adopted and returned on April 16, 2026 because it just wasn`t a good fit.I weigh 45.0 lbs and am considered a `medium breed` dog. Although I am short and stocky I am a BALL OF ENERGY! I love to go on on long walks and play. Due to my high energy I would do best in a home without younger children. My foster says this about me, `Fergie is a sweet and loyal pup, who just wants to be lovingly near her people all the time! She loves cuddling up on the couch, and can play tug-o-war for as long as you`re willing. She has yet to meet anyone that she doesn`t immediately love, and has become our house welcome-wagon when we have visitors. She is vigilant with strangers outside but is welcoming to guests when they enter the home. She`s treat motivated and smart, she`s already mastered `sit` and is working on `down`, `come`, and `find it`. She`s very strong for her size and would need a home that is willing to continue to train her and help her use her strength wisely. She has displayed leash-reactivity with other dogs and cats on walks, and would need a home where she is the only pet. Fergie truly is the princess of the castle!`I am a spirited dog with a fun-loving personality! I am still working on my manners, so I would do best with a family who is willing to work with me and help me become the best dog I can be!My caregivers have observed that I might not get along with other dogs. I may do best as the only dog in my new home, or I may need a very slow introduction to other dogs.I am currently in a foster home, please fill out a foster interest form for the chance to meet me :)

Hi! My name is Donna and I am available for adoption!I am a happy girl looking for my forever family!I love treats and I know how to sit and lay down! Because I am so treat motivated I can learn anything you teach me! Sometimes I am so excited about my treats I am not always the most gentle, we reccomend putting the treat on the floor for me:)I love toys and running around the yard! I like long walks and love chasing a ball. I am still learning my manners, so I may get so excited I jump on you. Staff is working on this with me and they tell me `off`Because I dont always know how big I am, I would do best in a home with older children.I can be a calm couch potato too! I love belly rubs and laying in my bed!You can visit me at the Pet Adoption Center on weekdays from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Story
Hi! My name is Duke and I am available for adoption!I came to RASKC on June 4, 2026 with my brother Luke after my owner passed away. We are currently in a foster home and really enjoy being with one another! We make get into a little bicker when we are in too close fo a space, but we love to sleep, play and be near each other. We are really hoping to find a home where we can be together :)I weigh 13.8 lbs and am considered a `small breed` dog.I am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home!Surprisingly I am full of energy and I love to play! I tend to calm down more when the people around me stay calm. I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy.My caregivers have noticed that I seem to do well with other dogs. I came in with a buddy, Luke. We aren`t bonded but it would be nice if we could go home together. When meeting dogs in a new home, I would do best with a slow introduction.I really like to play around in pools and fountains, laze on couches or go on hikes with my buddies. I`m also a chatty cathy who will talk to you all day.I am an adaptable dog who loves to go with the flow! I am outgoing and carefree, and I just can`t wait to find my forever home!I am currently in a foster home, please fill out a foster interest form for the chance to meet me!
