Story
I adopted Millie from the Tacoma Humane Society as a playmate for my existing dog who lost his playmate to cancer. I didn’t know what kind of dog she was or how large she would get. I have since learned that she is a German Wire Haired Pointer and she has grown to be too large for my living space. Above they did not have listed the real reason I am looking to re-home this sweet girl. She needs a home with acreage and preferably a family with the time and resources to give her the life she deserves. She would make a great friend for a boy who wants a dog. Her breed is of the type who needs to be active as she is a working breed. She is a very smart dog and also exceptionally sweet. Good with other animals, children, and people in general. She is spayed, up to date on her shots, and house trained. She is nearly 2 years old and easily trainable. If interested please reach out so we can arrange for a time to meet. I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Story
We adopted Rosie almost 2 years ago from a friend that had her since she was 8 weeks old. Shes a sweet girl, and is 6 almost 7 years old. Loves other animals (cat, dogs). She is so good with little toddlers! Her favorite activity is fetch she could play for hours. Also cuddle time. She does have anxiety when there is firecrackers. We have neighbors that will let off fireworks randomly and our house has not been the best fit for that reason.

Story
🐾 Meet Miko — Your Pocket-Sized Powerhouse! 🐾 Miko is an 8-month-old Min Pin/Chihuahua mix with big energy in a tiny, regal little body. This boy is playful, affectionate, and very much a puppy who loves doing all the fun puppy things — zoomies, toys, cuddles, repeat! Miko thrives with structure, enrichment, and plenty of playtime. A fully fenced yard is a must for this little rocket, and he’d absolutely shine with another young, friendly dog who can help him channel his energy and keep him entertained. He’s also best suited for someone who works from home or has lots of availability — Miko loves company and does best when his people are around to guide him, love him, and help him grow into the amazing dog he’s meant to be. Story
Beau is the sweetest and gentlest of the three sisters, I've got to admit the first couple of weeks she was here I paid special attention to her, babied her. When she went in to get spayed with her sisters she was diagnosed with a significant enough heart murmur that they wouldn't operate. I'm hoping that she will grow out of it or at least it will get better. The first week she was a little quieter than her sisters but now her activity level is equal to her sisters - she is just as playful. the only thing that I've noticed is that she cools down a little slower after a hot day. She is the same as her sisters: she comes when she is called, she needs to get used to the leash, loves to cuddle at night, follows you around all day. I was thinking foster to adopt would be a good route to go until she is a year old. I would take care of her medical needs through being spayed.

Story
✨ Meet Emma — Proof that joy can survive anything ✨ If you want to meet a dog whose soul defies everything she’s been through… meet Emma. Found as a stray in Mexico with only patches of fur left after severe mange, this little girl is living, wagging proof that happiness lies within, no matter the circumstances. At just 3.5 years old, Emma has already endured more than most dogs ever will. People walked past her. People looked away. Some still do — because her skin still has a few bald spots, and that’s all they see. But what they miss is everything that makes Emma extraordinary: 💛 The way she lights up a room with her fast, joyful spins when it’s mealtime 💛 How she leaps with pure happiness every time she sees you 💛 The gentle way she tucks herself against your side, asking for nothing but love 💛 Her resilience, her softness, her unbroken spirit Emma is still shy and crouches when someone approaches too quickly or when loud noises remind her of a past she should’ve never had. Only she knows what people did to her before she was rescued… but even after all of that, she chose to trust again. And now she deserves the best home in the whole wide world. One filled with patience, kindness, tenderness, and someone who understands that healing takes time — but loving her comes easy. Emma is safe. She is loved. And she is ready for her forever person. If you see her heart before her scars, you’ll never find a more loyal, grateful, or beautiful companion.
