Story
Kobe is a sweet and goofy dog that bonds very strongly with his person. He loves being outdoors, does well when home alone, and is very laid back in general. He has a love for training, knows a lot of fun tricks and enjoys learning new tricks even at 8 years of age! He is crate trained, walks well on leash, and knows commands such as sit, down, spin, touch, shake, high-five, middle, jump, heel, and place. He is great with loose leash walking and his favorite thing is a daily walk. Kobe is very gentle with indoor cats and small dogs. He does not like dogs larger than him. Kobe's adoption history from the Homeward Pet Adoption Center in 2019 indicated that he is not good with children. He would thrive in a quiet home with an experienced dog owner who enjoys dog training and loves long walks with a companion.

Story
Oscar is the sweetest boy. He's 6 years old and we love him so much! Rehoming him is the hardest decision we've had to make. Oscar is an anxious dog, since having our two kids his anxiety has become worse. He's taken to marking the house (he is fixed) and snapping at our toddlers. It's really not his fault, our home is chaotic and he's stressed. We have tried medication, training, diapers, and everything we can think. When the kids are asleep and it's just my husband and I, Oscar just wants to snuggle. He's shown aggression toward other dogs but, again, just when the kids are around. We have needed to board him for multiple weeks while traveling and he always warms up and plays with the other dogs. We believe Oscar would thrive in a home with no kids. A home where he can get ample attention. His marking and aggression only started when our first son became a toddler. Adoption fee is to weed out anyone not serious. We want to find the best home for him and for him to be happy.

Remi is a friendly German Shepherd Dog who came to the shelter with her friend Rajah. Their foster says they are lovely houseguests. Remi is great at self-entertaining and will toss a tennis ball for herself for hours. She's been good with children and has liked all people she has met. In typical shepherd-fashion, she sometimes has a lot to say when she sees other dogs out on walks. Remi is happiest hanging with Rajah and her foster family in the backyard with some tennis balls or jolly balls. Remi and Rajah can be adopted together as a 2 for 1 special or they can be adopted separately. Please visit the shelter between 11am-5.30pm to meet with us!

Rajah is a gorgeous and friendly guy who has been great with all people and has also been good with children. He loves tennis balls and enjoys playing fetch. We can't believe Rajah is still with us as he's such a friendly boy and gets along with all people. He also settles well and enjoys napping with Remi. Rajah has been a great houseguest with his fosters. In typical German Shepherd fashion, he does have a lot to say when he sees other dogs on walks and he'd prefer to stay home in his yard playing ball. Rajah's ideal home would be with a family who has a large, fenced-in yard where he could relax and enjoy play time. Rajah can be adopted with his friend Remi as a 2 for 1 special or he can be adopted separately. Please email visit the shelter between 11am-5.30pm to meet me and my friend!

I'm looking for a home without stairs as I lack mobility as I continue to lose weight. Obviously, I love snacks and am very food motivated. I live in a home with children and have been doing well with them after a careful and conscientious introduction. I can get overwhelmed when things get busy so I may like a more relaxed household. She is estimated to be 4-5 years old.They were left there for weeks without food until someone found them and asked us if we could help.Lucy has completed her health checks and protocol and is ready for a family in the PNW.In the meantime, she is patiently waiting in Mexico. ##2050423##
