FRANKLIN NEEDS FOSTER ASAP! He is also available for adoption. His current foster can no longer care for him and he must find another home immediately. Franklin is such a sweet boy! He is a one year old puppy though, so still needs training and to learn house manners. He must have an experienced person that will continue training him how to live appropriately in a home. He is house trained and crate trained. Because he still a pup, he will try to play with things that are not his. If he’s not with his persons or outside, crating is the best option for him. He absolutely loves people, including children so a socially active home would be ideal. This one year old, 32lb boy is quiet and observant so with guidance, he could even be an excellent office companion. He is very affectionate, so someone that wants lots of cuddle time is required. He is a long and low boy that appears to be a Terrier / Bassett mix, although we’re not entirely sure. His sister (pictured with him) is also long and low. Whatever he is, he is a sweet boy that loves to meet new people. He is also great with other animals, but he would prefer to be the only dog in the home. Because he’s still a very wiggly boy, kids must be over 8yrs old.

Story
Emerson and Allie are adorable 11wk old puppies that are ready for their new homes. Allie has a more black face and she is about 12lbs. Emerson is about 15lbs. They are both very friendly, affectionate puppies that would love to have socially active homes. They are very smart and are already learning a few basic manners. Allie will bark a little bit when she’s trying to get your attention. Emerson is a very quiet boy. Another playful dog in the home for each of them would be ideal. Allie is very outgoing. Emerson is a bit on the shy side until he gets to know you. Both have wonderful, sweet temperaments. They appear to be Doberman Lab mix, but we’re not quite sure. Whatever they are, they are wonderful, social, playful pups that would make an excellent addition to an active family with school age kids. They DO NOT need to be adopted together. They must have a 5ft or higher, securely fenced yard. Because of their young age, they should not be left alone for more than 4-5hr intervals.

Story
Beautiful Kate is approx 3yrs old and weighs just over 50lbs. She is a very friendly girl that has been in foster for far too long. She should have her own, forever home! She is a wonderful girl that will do best with a person or family that will take her on lots of long walks and hiking. She’s always up for a new adventure. When she’s home, she’s an easy going girl that will hang out with the other dogs or just nap at the feet of her person. She is wonderful with dogs of all sizes so another dog in the home would be just fine, but it’s not required. Although she is a little interested in cats, she’s doing ok with the residents kitties, too. She will do best with Pointer experienced people that will take her on breed appropriate activities. She is also very friendly so a socially active home would also be ideal. Kate is fully crate and house trained so she can be left home alone for a reasonable amount of time. She is doing awesome with her leash skills and other basic manners and commands. She must have a 6ft or higher securely fenced yard.

Story
Absolutely adorable, sweet as can be Holly and Colleen are now just over 12wks old and they are ready for their own forever home! All 6 of their other siblings have been adopted. Based on their mama’s looks, they appear to be heeler mix with maybe some shepherd and bulldog? We’re not yet sure. We’re still waiting for dna results. Whatever they are, they are very smart, sweet, cuddly puppies that love everyone they meet. They are also wonderful with other animals. Holly loves to play with big dogs and can hold her own. Colleen would prefer to sit on the sidelines in her person’s lap and just watch her sister in the wrestling match with other dogs. She will wrestle with her sister though. And they love to cuddle with each other. They are both doing great with house training and they love to go on walks through the neighborhood. They love to be outside and explore so a fenced yard is required. They would be a great addition to a family with another dog and school age kids. Because of their young age, they should not be left anyone for more that 4/5hr intervals. They DO NOT need to be adopted together

FOSTER NEEDED ASAP! He is available for adoption, too. Big, beautiful Buck is about 18mo old and weighs a whopping 85lbs! He is a very silly, playful puppy that would make an excellent running partner. And then he’s ready to come home and relax for the remainder of the day. One more walk for the evening or running and playing in the yard for a bit, then Buck is happy to curl up in his blankets for the night. He has been between a foster home and boarding for almost 2 months now, while he’s eagerly waiting for his own, forever home. During the day he’s able to run the yard for about a half hour, then he comes inside the office to quietly hang out with the office staff. He’s great with the resident kitty, too. Buck loves to play with other dogs but really doesn’t know his size so another sturdy medium or large dog in the home would be great, but it’s not required. He does not like to share his food with other dogs so they must be fed separately. If there are no dogs in the home, he should at least have plenty of play dates. Buck loves to meet new people so a socially active home would be best. He’s also wonderful with kids, although his puppy wiggles might knock over the little ones so kids must be over 10yrs old. He must have a 6ft or higher securely fenced yard. Although Buck is house trained, he does not like to be crated unless in an outside large dog kennel, so a doggy door or work from home person would be best. A large breed experienced person to help continue his training is a must. He loves car rides so he would even be a great companion for someone that drives for a living. During foster, all supplies are provided.

Story
Freddie is the funniest, 18mo old 50lb guy! He is very active and much prefers to run and dance versus walking. He twirls when he runs and will leap back and forth in excitement when he knows a treat is coming. We are working on calming behaviors and impulse control, but he just gets so excited about being outside with his pals, it’s hard for him to settle down for at least the first 15 min of playtime. Then he’s more likely to pay attention to training games that teach more manners and commands. He appears to be a border collie / husky mix, with what else, we don’t know. His intelligence suggests this, too. Freddie would be an awesome hiking partner. After a short run, he’s also learning how to walk properly on a leash. Because of an old injury to his front foot when he was a puppy, he is not a candidate for long distance jogging or running. Walking and especially hiking would be the perfect outdoor activities instead. Freddie loves other dogs so lots of doggy play dates are a must, although he doesn’t need another dog in the home. He has not been tested with cats, so no kitties please. He loves children but he’s still learning to be polite so kids must be over 12yrs old. An active home with a fenced yard is required. He does NOT have the herding tendencies like others of his breed type. Freddie is crate trained and almost completely house trained. If he has potty breaks at least every 4-5hrs, he’s doing great with his training
