Kira — Courtesy Posting Kira is a sweet 6-year-old girl looking for a home that understands that the best life doesn’t always have to be the most active one. Because of an elbow condition, Kira isn’t a dog for long hikes, runs, or strenuous adventures. She enjoys short walks, light play, and plenty of time relaxing in the yard. She can play with other dogs, but her activity should be limited and supervised to help protect her elbow. Most of all, Kira loves being close to her people and is happiest when she can simply be part of the family. Kira is house trained, crate trained, and good on leash. She is dog friendly and tends to prefer male dogs, although she can do well with females. She has also lived successfully with cats and even chickens! Kira especially loves children and would be thrilled to have some of her own. Her ideal home could be a family with children age 7+ and possibly another calm dog. She could also be a wonderful companion for a quieter household or retired couple, either as the only dog or alongside another calm canine companion. Kira needs a family willing to respect her physical limitations while giving her all the companionship, affection, yard time, and gentle adventures she deserves. Tenley is a beautiful Husky pup who was born 7/26/26. She is the smallest puppy in her litter and the calmest. She truly loves curling up with her humans. She also does great with her littermates. She shares food, water and toys nicely. She has even done well when socialized with wheelchairs and walkers. Her markings are stunning, but the lovely girl she is makes her the whole package. Side note, her nose is a little shorter than other puppies, but that is just another thing on the list that makes her special.

Nessa is about 65 lbs. Based on her markings and her desire to hug and kiss her humans we are guessing she is German Shepherd/Boxer mix. She came to the rescue with her babies. They are now adopted and she is ready for her turn! She is a low-maintenance girl. We estimate that she is between 3-4 years old. She has been diagnosed with Microphthalmia. This is an eye condition that she was born with. She has been seen by the vet and while she cannot see with that eye, it doesn't require any medical intervention and doesn't slow her down. She will fit easily into most lifestyles. She certainly enjoys playing and exploring outside, but is a couch-potato when given the choice.
