Age: 10 months old Located in a foster home in NJ Weight: 50 lbs Vet Record: 100% vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, female Beautiful Kira is looking for a family to go on walks or hikes with and to snuggle up with at the end of the day. Kira is house-trained, moderately active, not a barker, and incredibly smart. She’s brilliant and will do great with training, you’ll enjoy working with her! She’s affectionate, very social, and especially gentle with children. She loves being petted and always wants to stay close to her people. Kira loves the outdoors, walks well on a leash, and rides great in the car. She’ll jump right in, ready for the next adventure. She’s a happy, cheerful girl who would make a wonderful companion for an active family looking for a loyal and loving friend. Kira will do best in a suburban home and would do well with a family with kids. She pays too much attention to cats on walks, so a home without cats would be best for her. Story
Meet Daffy Age: 1.2 years old Located in a foster home in NJ Weight: 33 lbs Vet Record: 100% vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, female Say hello to Daffy – a sweet, cheerful, and beautiful girl looking for a home! Daffy is friendly with everyone she meets. She’s housebroken, walks nicely on a leash, and has a calm, loving personality. She’s the kind of dog who fits right in, whether it’s a family event, a walk in the park, or a road trip, you can take her anywhere. Daffy was rescued in Georgia (the country), where she was found with an injury to her back leg, most likely from a trap. She had surgery, made a full recovery, and now walks, runs, and plays like any other dog. She does have a scar where the fur may never grow back, and she has a slight limp, but it doesn’t slow her down or affect her happy spirit. Daffy is moderately active, very affectionate, and easygoing. She’d be a great match for a first-time dog owner and would do wonderfully in a home with kids or another dog to play with. If you’re ready to give Daffy the loving home she deserves, apply today. Daffy is waiting to meet you in NJ! Story
Sydney is an affectionate dog who loves being around people (including kids). She loves to cuddle, and once you start petting her, you won't be allowed to stop, as she'll keep nudging your hand for more. Sydney is ~7.5 years old, spayed, housebroken, loves playing fetch and going for car rides. She also knows basic commands and loves to train for treats. She loves to chew her bones but is a destroyer of soft toys. Sydney was originally my parents' dog, but both of them suffered medical emergencies, leaving them unable to care for her. We originally took her into our home, but moving into a new home and living with our other dog has proven to be too stressful for Sydney. She would live her best life in a home with no other pets, a comfy couch, and an owner who is willing to work with her fear-based reactivity around other dogs. We are hopeful in finding her forever home, as she has a lot of love to give to a kind and caring owner.
