He is a strong, impressive, and deeply loyal dog who bonds closely to his owner. He is healthy, up to date on care, and in great physical condition. Diesel is very protective and territorial by nature, which makes him an excellent guard dog. He does best with confident, experienced handlers who understand large guardian breeds and can provide strong leadership, structure, and consistency. Unfortunately, due to his protective instincts, Diesel is not safe in a home with children, and for that reason, we are making the extremely difficult and responsible decision to find him a new home that better suits his needs. Diesel would thrive in: • A child-free home • Preferably no other pets • With someone experienced in large, dominant breeds • Someone who can provide structure, boundaries, and ideally continued training • A home with a secure yard and strong fencing

Nash was rescued from North Shore Animal League. He was 6 months when we got him. His birthday is 2/22/22. He will be 4 years old soon. Nash is loving and full of energy. I take him running with me weekly up to 10 miles at a clip. Nash loves every minute of the run. He is fully trained and house broken. Nash is food motivated and does amazing with training. He is great with other dogs and cats. My family has grown since we got Nash and he does not do well with small kids. I have 3 kids all under 6 years old. He has never bit anyone but he growls at my two year old everyday. It breaks my heart but I have to find him a new home. He is perfect for a family with older kids. I have to move him quick otherwise he is going to a shelter and I do not want to do that. If interested and want to take Nash we can help out with some of the care aspect. We will work something out. He needs a great home because he is a great dog.

Zena’s past is heartbreaking. From what we were able to learn, she was left behind when her owner was evicted—tied to a tree with no food or water. Despite everything she’s endured, Zena’s spirit remains gentle, loving, and hopeful, and we know her forever family is still out there. This 11.5-year-old golden girl is petite at 54 pounds and absolutely adores people. She is best suited for a home with young teens and would thrive as the only pet. Zena is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows her basic cues like sit, down, and touch. She enjoys mental enrichment and playtime (treat mats are a favorite!), but once inside, she’s happy to curl up and relax! Zena is currently in a temporary foster home where she’s been nothing short of a rock star.
