Story
My wife and I adopted Riley 10 years ago, she was 3 months old. She is my first dog and we love her tremendously. The reason we are rehoming her is because my family and I have been sick for quite some time and we can't pin point why. Also I feel like we are unable to provide her the care she deserves. She needs her shots, her teeth cleaned, and deserves nice long walks everyday. She is a calm dog stays in bed most of the day until she feels she needs to make a patrol. She hardly barks unless there is someone at the door but can be easily corrected. It pains me to have to rehome her, but she deserves better. She truly is a great friend and I hope you can love her with all your heart as I do.

Story
My personality: Tentative and shy but full of potential. My story: A Soi Dog rescue officer found me and my four siblings in a banana plantation when we were just a few months old. He suspected we'd been abandoned as there was no one around for miles and we looked frantic and confused. For our safety, he brought us back to the shelter where we were given the care we needed. For me, that included treatment for fleas, an injured leg and a skin condition. My needs: I'm sure you won't blame me for this given what I've been through, but I do have some trust issues. I'm shy of people when I first meet them, so my future family will need to give me their love and patience as I get used to my new world. I'm still young, though, and have plenty of potential to learn and grow. My goal is to be just like the Pokémon character I'm named after: confident and sassy! DISCLAIMER: I am located at Soi Dog in Phuket, Thailand. Soi Dog charges no adoption fee for me and I have been neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped. Adopters simply need to cover the cost of my travel crate, flight(s), and Rabies Titer Test (RTT). If you are interested in adopting me, then please inquire for further details. I woof really love it!

Story
My personality: Independent and sensitive yet gentle and calm. My story: I used to live on a beach in the south of Phuket where lots of local people knew and cared for me. However, they started to worry about my safety after I began to be bullied by other dogs in the area. One day, in August 2020, I was attacked quite badly, and a kind man called Soi Dog for help. I recovered well but, as it was unsafe for me to return to my territory, it was decided that I would stay here at the shelter until I could find a home of my own. My needs: Understandably, I can be a bit wary of other dogs and would therefore prefer to be my family’s one and only to start off with. I may be able to live with another canine friend after I've had a chance to settle in though. I would also prefer a home without younger children as, although I'm a fairly confident boy nowadays, I'm still sensitive to new situations. Aside from that, I'm simply looking for a family who wants a gentle dog to go for strolls around the neighborhood with before going home and relaxing. The man who brought me to Soi Dog has offered to help sponsor my flight to my forever home. Please take him up on his kind offer and inquire today! Story
My personality: Tentative, elegant, charming. My story: When I was just three months old, a fellow street dog attacked me, puncturing my leg in four places. Terrified and wounded, I took refuge underneath a car and cried out in pain. Luckily, a kind person heard me and came to my rescue. With their help, I was brought to the Soi Dog shelter and received all the care I needed to make a full recovery. My needs: I can be tentative and unsure at first. I’m a dog who needs a bit of time to assess new situations and people before feeling fully comfortable. However, once I’ve adjusted to my new world, I’ll be a delight as I enjoy my walks and like saying hello to people I know along the way. My curiosity does get the better of me sometimes, so I shouldn’t be around small animals like cats. I also take a special urinary diet. Story
My personality: Playful, confident, friendly, social. My story: I was once a precious pet, but unfortunately my owner fell ill with cancer and struggled to care for me. This became a particular problem when I was hit by a car and left with an injured pelvis and an open wound on my hip. Fortunately, a kind person saw me limping and called Soi Dog for help. I was so relieved to have a safe place to rest while I recovered. My needs: As I think you can tell from my photos, I'm a big and active boy. The volunteers at the shelter are under special instruction to take me for long walks to help me burn off all my extra energy! I'd love to find someone as active as me who likes to go for walks and hikes to explore the world. DISCLAIMER: I am located at Soi Dog in Phuket, Thailand. Story
My personality: confident, excited about life, friendly, affectionate. My story: I was living near a temple on Phuket Island being fed by local people. I managed to deal with the challenges and dangers that street dogs face for the first year and a half of my life. No one is sure what happened but a kind person noticed that I had injured my eye which was protruding from the socket and bleeding. They called Soi Dog Foundation for help and they picked me up and took me to the shelter for treatment. I was so grateful to the vets for the care they gave me but they were unable to save my eye. I have got used to having one eye and think it adds to my unique appearance. After having surgery to remove my eye I was kept at the shelter for safety and a year and a half after arriving I am ready to find my forever family. My needs: as I have one eye my adopter will need to make me aware of their approach so I'm not startled, I am an energetic girl who would love to go for walks and I look forward to spending time with humans of my own.
