Meet Jax! A loving, loyal, and energetic dog who is ready to find his new forever home!Jax absolutely loves long walks, runs, and playtime, making him a perfect match for anyone who enjoys staying active. After a day of being active, he is happy soaking up affection and staying close to his person, forming a strong and devoted bond. Jax would do best as the only pet in a calm home where he can be the center of your world. He's already house trained, and has great routines in place, making the transition into a new home much easier. With little support, Jax continues being an amazing dog. He is currently on a simple medication that helps him stay relaxed and happy. If you are looking for a loyal best friend who will love you endlessly, keep you active, and be by your side through everything, Jax is the perfect fit for you.Come and see how special Jax truly is!!

Story
Dakota is a loyal companion, has a sweet disposition, and is very much a go-with-the-flow type. She can be suspicious of new people, but once you are in, it's for life. Dakota's energy matches her environment. When outside, she enjoys chasing familiar dogs, playing frisbee, and exploring. When inside, she is happy to cozy up on her bed and sleep the day away. Our Jersey City apartment has a small backyard where she is able to play, but she loves to go for a walk around the block. She is comfortable alone for long periods of time (6-8 hours), which is nice for working people. She wouldn't do well in a home with young children or a cat. She would do well with another dog, but does not require one. She is potty trained, crate trained, and knows a handful of functional commands. Dakota has no major medical issues and is prone to 1-2 UTIs per year.Due to family circumstance we are no long able to care for Dakota after 9 magical years, and hopeful to find the right family for her.

Foster describes him as one of the smaller puppies in his litter, but he certainly knows how to make his presence known. He enjoys playing, exploring, spending time outside, and snuggling with his people when playtime is over. Inside the home, Pauly is calm and relaxed, settles down quickly after activity, and balances his playful energy with plenty of downtime. He enjoys being close to his people while still maintaining an independent streak, and foster notes that he is both smart and incredibly cute. As a young puppy, Pauly is still learning the basics and will benefit from continued training and structure. He is currently working on house-training, is still learning commands, and needs additional leash practice. Foster reports that he can be vocal when crated or left alone and may become mildly annoyed by confinement, but he is not destructive and has shown no resource guarding, aggression, or handling concerns. Pauly enjoys being around other dogs and has a playful style that combines soft, bouncy interactions with a more confident and physical approach, making him a fun companion for canine friends who enjoy active play. Foster describes him as "sweet, lounger, and goofy," and believes he would thrive in an active home while still being a great fit for first-time dog owners. Overall, Pauly is a lovable, playful puppy with a wonderful mix of energy, affection, and personality who is ready to grow into an amazing family companion. Foster describes her as an overachiever, a natural leader among her siblings, and one of the first to investigate anything new. She is curious, playful, and always ready for the next adventure, whether that means exploring the house, testing out the stairs, or enjoying her favorite nightly run around the block with her foster mom. Meadow forms strong bonds with her people and loves being close to them, earning praise as a loyal, affectionate companion who enjoys cuddles while still maintaining her confident, independent spirit. Foster describes her as "smart, daring, and rebellious," highlighting the confidence and personality that make her stand out. As a young puppy, Meadow is still learning the basics and will thrive with an active, experienced adopter who can continue guiding her development. She is currently working on house-training, learning commands, and improving her leash skills, though she already knows "sit" and "come" and enjoys walking on leash. Meadow has a higher-energy play style than many puppies, enjoying rough-and-rowdy play, zoomies, and active games with other dogs. Foster notes that she is fearless, highly intelligent, and eager to be involved in everything happening around her. Her primary challenge is typical puppy mouthing, and foster notes that she has the strongest bite among her siblings during play, though it is not aggressive and simply reflects her confidence and enthusiasm. With no resource guarding, aggression, or handling concerns, Meadow is a loving, spirited puppy whose intelligence, loyalty, and adventurous nature will make her an incredible companion for a family ready to keep up with her zest for life.
