Story
She's a loving girl that needs and deserves more attention than our home can give her at this time. She loves to be pet, loves going out side. She gets along with passive dogs that allow her to be dominant. She loves people and kids and attention. She's a "talker" when someone new comes around, but as long as she gets attention she is happy. It takes her a little longer to warm up to men, but will eventually come around. She holds her bathroom needs until we get home from work and we then let her out in the back yard. We have young kids and a very busy schedule. Our girl deserves a home that can provide more attention. We have had her for 2 years and got her from a rescue in NJ that no longer exists.

Story
Adorable Suga can’t understand why she hasn’t found her family yet. She is super sweet, super spunky, six-month-old pup. She gets along with other dogs and cats. She’s got a big personality and is a lot of fun. Unfortunately she is shy when you first meet her so she’ll need a special family willing to give her some time to adjust. She is available For adoption through New York Safe Haven Animal Rescue. She is a mutt / mixed breed rescued from Puerto Rico. They call them “sato” dogs. Apply via www.nyshar.org/applications

This cutie was part of an "oops" litter in Puerto Rico.. unfortunate situation adding more homeless pets to the population but we are making sure the mom gets spayed ASAP. Their mom was 45 lbs and the dad was 43 lbs so they shouldn't be bigger than 50 lbs when full grown. They were born 9-4-23. There were 10 in the litter! Apply via www.nyshar.org/applications
