* Cinnamon was staying at the Gimje City Shelter. Knowing that a young puppy who should be raised under the protection of a loving home was instead spending her crucial months in a shelter, Adogs stepped in to rescue her, hoping she can finally be held in the arms of a true forever family.
3️⃣ Basic Information
❗As a young puppy, she may need training in areas such as separation anxiety, potty habits, biting, nipping, whining, disorderly behaviors, howling, and barking.
❗It is difficult to predict shedding and growth size because her parents are unknown.
❗Until 10 months of age, puppies grow rapidly, so her appearance in the photos and her current appearance may differ slightly.
* With People: Is wary of strangers. However, physical contact is possible if you go slowly and give her treats. At her foster home, she’s slowly but surely becoming closer with her foster parent as they build trust with her and let her set the pace. She welcomes her foster parent home and wags her tail. Although she still doesn’t feel fully comfortable with touch, she allows light petting. She likes to follow her foster parent’s human child around, taking treats by hand, and being less on guard.
* With Dogs: Gets along well with her foster sibling and feels more comfortable with other dogs rather than humans. She relies on her foster sibling a lot and even copies their behavior. As long as they aren’t too pushy, she gets along with most dogs. Plays well with puppies younger than her. As much as she is wary of humans, she feels kinship with other dogs.
* With Cats: Has not met a cat yet.
* Separation Anxiety: She does well when no humans are around, but she becomes very anxious if separated from her foster sibling. She even sleeps in the same space as them. Will exhibit signs of separation anxiety such as howling, barking, and whining when separated from them. Has not yet been left completely alone before.
* Potty Training: Uses indoor potty pads without any accidents.
* Hygiene: As she is still fearful of human touch, she has no previous experience with grooming yet.
* Walks: She has no walking experience yet.
* Car Sickness: Showed no signs of motion sickness during 4-5 hour trips.
* Biting: When subjected to sudden facial touch or forced handling/picking up, she displays defensive warning signals, such as twitching her lips before nipping. She views towels, bath mats, and slippers as toys and will chew on them. When with her foster parent, she doesn’t bite even when she feels uncomfortable.
* Barking: If a stranger approaches or she’s forcefully picked up, she will bark while trying to flee, and she may growl out of fear. Will howl, bark, and whine when left alone. Briefly barks if someone suddenly stands up or moves.
* Likes: Loves eating treats and enjoys playing with plush toys. Likes and relies on other dogs.
* Dislikes: Is highly wary of uninvited physical contact or situations where she feels cornered. Is scared when people suddenly move or come too close. Is anxious when separated from her foster sibling.
* Personality: Due to her timid nature, she requires a patient environment and a family who can approach her slowly over time. She is timid with people, but shows a lot of affection for other dogs and becomes playful with them. She likes treats and toys but isn’t possessive of them, even sharing them with other dogs. If you approach her slowly, she allows pets and shows potential to have a good relationship with humans.
