Story
Blondie is an amazing companion. She is 6 years old. She is friendly, loving and eager to play. She is a great house dog who rarely barks unless surrounded by other dogs. We are seeking to rehome her with an individual or family that can dedicate the time and attention that she deserves. Preferably has a backyard where she can run and exercise. Since getting Blondie our family has significantly expanded and we can no longer provider her with the proper time she needs.

Story
Coming soon in Salt Point! Meet Baby Blue a diamond in the ruff. He is a blue healer mix who is around 2 years old. He came into the shelter as a stray so nothing is known about his earlier life but since coming to my house he has been working on manners and basic obedience. This will need to continue in his new home. He is a big dog at 65 pounds and can be pushy, rude, and sometimes pulls hard while on leash. He loves to cuddle and will force himself onto your lap and flip your hand to make you pet him. He is very active and needs a home who will exercise his body and mind. No cats or small children, he will knock them down, but older dog savy kids are ok. He loves to chew bones, is good loose in the house, and sometimes sleeps upside down in the cutest way. Baby Blue gets along with all the dogs in the house and needs a fenced in yard to run and sunbathe. He is currently in foster in Salt Point, NY. If this cute boy sounds perfect for you , please fill out our application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new furever family. All adoption fees are used for future rescue efforts.

Story
Meet Rosie 🖤 Rosie is a loving, playful 5-year-old girl with a big heart and big zoomies! She’s super smart and lives for a good game of fetch. We were told she’s a black lab/pit mix, but suspect there’s some whippet in there too — her lean build, quick bursts of speed, and love of stealing your warm seat all fit the bill! Rosie can be a little shy for a second but quickly becomes super affectionate. She’s great with kids and would thrive with an active person or family, ideally with a fenced yard to release that energy or someone who enjoys running — she’s an awesome running buddy. She’s smart and can be food motivated, but especially loves toys, most of all her little piggys. Rosie needs to be the only pet in the home. She gets along with our older pitbull 99% of the time, but can sometimes get too dominant, so she’ll do best in a calm, one-pet household. She’s an amazing and beautiful dog who deserves the perfect home with good people to match her big heart.
