Please meet Mr. Disco Duck. He is a 3 yr old Boarder Collie who LOVES: snuggling, car rides, and fetch (for hours), walks, sitting for brushing, and is very quick to learn. His eyes are full of love, BEWARE of the slurpy kisses! Disco needs some obedience training. At 67# he is very strong, but will learn quickly. He responds well to the leash, because he knows that means a walk, but he does pull. Disco Duck would LOVE TO TRY AGILITY, or Hiking. He is a challenge, but what Boarder Collie isn't? Disco needs to go to an experienced and knowledgeable Boarder Collie human and be the ONLY DOG. Disco would be great with kids. However he may knock over the little ones cuz he's a big boy. He ignores my cat even outside. Disco is neutered and UTD on vaccines. Please do not be intimidated by this boy. He's young and has A LOT OF LOVE AND DEVOTION for the right human. Professional Training is a must, as does any BC, due to their high activity level and intelligence. He's a big goof ball that will fill your heart with love and tire you out! URGENT Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- London, ON Meet Gally! He is an 2 year old Australian Shepherd/Collie mix and weighs 70 lbs. He is neutered and up to date on shots, but isn’t on heartworm prevention. Gally is good with kids and dogs! He hasn’t been tested around cats. Gally can’t take flea/tick preventatives, due to a possible seizure risk. He has idiopathic epilepsy and takes keppra 3x a day. The owner is surrendering him because they have medical concerns in their family, which won’t allow them to take care of him. He needs to go by 6/16! If you think you can provide a great home for Gally, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $100 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. Coming soon in Salt Point! Meet Baby Blue a diamond in the ruff. He is a blue healer mix who is around 2 years old. He came into the shelter as a stray so nothing is known about his earlier life but since coming to my house he has been working on manners and basic obedience. This will need to continue in his new home. He is a big dog at 65 pounds and can be pushy, rude, and sometimes pulls hard while on leash. He loves to cuddle and will force himself onto your lap and flip your hand to make you pet him. He is very active and needs a home who will exercise his body and mind. No cats or small children, he will knock them down, but older dog savy kids are ok. He loves to chew bones, is good loose in the house, and sometimes sleeps upside down in the cutest way. Baby Blue gets along with all the dogs in the house and needs a fenced in yard to run and sunbathe. He is currently in foster in Salt Point, NY.
