Hi my name is Benjamin i was rescued from a bad living situation. I am a very energetic and loving. I love to play with balls, toys and my favorite playing in the water. I was raised with 7 other dogs , so i don’t mind having a housemate to play with. I am extremely people friendly however i get very excited, so a home with older kids is better for me. However my foster mom is working with me to control my excitement. I am good on the leash and love walks. I am not food, toy or crate aggressive. However, I am very food motivated. I am crate trained. Another great thing is I will not run away from you, call my name and I will happily come to you. I am looking for a forever home with someone that wants their days filled with licks , adventure and most importantly unconditional LOVE!!! Hi my name is. Shadow I am ia 3yr old bully mix so I am told. I was rescued with my seven siblings from a poor environment. I love my siblings and get along with other dogs. I am crate trained and working on house training. My foster mom is working with me and my brother on basic training. My brother and I get really excited when we get attention, but I am learning to control my excitement . I am told I am doing well with my training. Once i get to know you I will be as my name your shadow. I love to just lay by you , walk with you and watch you . Although I was raised in an apartment i like being outside. I am more into relaxing and basking in the sun , than playing. Although i do like chasing the bugs . Its my favorite activity. I am not food, toy or cage aggressive . However I am very food motivated. I am lover not a fighter. All want is a hug, kiss, pat or a nice belly rub. UPDATE : i have been training with my foster mom and been doing GREAT!!!

Butch is a sweet boy who was living in a car since he was a young puppy. He loves all people but not other animals, so he can only go to a home with no other animals. We recommend positive based training for all our dogs and have started with Butch as he did not know any basics when he came to us. He has learned sit, how to take treats gently, walks beautifully on a leash unless he sees something moving then he wants to chase it. He has become a volunteer favorite and loves nothing more then to lay on them. Our animals will be spayed/neutered and up to date on all shots before going to their forever homes unless otherwise stated. Zuko Foster/Home Needed – Rochester, NY area ONLY This handsome hunk of a dog is Zuko! He is 3-4 years old pittie mix, weighing roughly 65lbs. He’s already had 3 owners in his short life, and he deserves to find his last and forever. His first owner gave him up after a year because he isn’t "100% pitbull". His second owner sadly passed away earlier this year and a co-worker’s family took him in. They acknowledge Zuko is very loving and loyal, and they’ve enjoyed having him, but they’ve decided he’s not a good fit for their family. Zuko would do best with an experienced large dog owner. He is very friendly but has a lot of energy and needs a little work on some of his manners. He loves people, loves to snuggle, loves long walks and loves to play. He is house-trained and knows basic obedience (sit, stay, come, paw). He is smart and responds well to training. His love for humans can cause him to be a little excitable. Children over 13yrs would be best. Zuko is neutered and up to date on all his vaccinations. Charlie URGENT Foster/Home Needed – Long Island, NY Meet Charlie! This 15mo old red nose male Pittie, weighing about 60lbs, needs a new home. He was rescued as a pup about a year ago but he’s not getting along well with the other dog in the family. We do not know if it is Charlie or the resident dog. Charlie is good with people and kids; he lives with a two-year-old now. Charlie is very energetic and would love a nice yard to play in. He likes going for walks on the leash and enjoys car rides. He loves cuddles and attention, and he really loves his treats!! Charlie is fully trained, including crate, neutered and up to date on all vaccinations. He understands basic commands like sit, paw and lay down. The family has been working with Pioneers for Animal Welfare Society Inc in attempts to find Charlie a new home for a few months, but no one has stepped up. Diesel Foster/Foster to Adopt Home Needed – Long Island, NY Hi everyone! This is Diesel. He arrived at the shelter just after Christmas 2022 & he’s been there ever since 💔 He is a male, 7 year young Bully and he’s cute as a button 😍 Before coming to the shelter Diesel did not have the greatest life. Sadly, he was abused & living a life outside. When he first got to the shelter he was understandably terrified, but he did eventually make friends with some of the people there and now he loves them! It does take him a little bit to warm up to people but once he does, he is the biggest meatball mush ever!! Diesel loves to run around and play, and will do anything for treats 😊 He knows a lot of commands; some say he is the smartest boy. He is dog friendly but Diesel prefers dogs his own size or a little bit bigger……and he is quite the lover of the female dogs 💙 He needs a home where someone is experienced in having a dog that protectives his home. Diesel has a little stranger danger, so someone who knows that or is willing to learn would be ideal. He prefers a home with no small children; 15 years old & up please. He is neutered and UTD on all. While Diesel will be missed by his shelter friends, it’s high time he has a home of his own. He is such a good boy and just needs a chance.
