G is a beautiful, happy, silly, smart, loving, playful and protective 18 month old, 60 lb lab mix. We adopted her from foster at 8 weeks. She has been in training from the beginning. She is housetrained, crate trained for sleep (and some naps), and doesnt damage any household belongings. She loves to play with other medium and large dogs. She is also spayed, microchipped and up to date on all vaccines. We need to rehome her because we are not able to train out her protective nature. We have a busy house with teens and live in a busy suburb. Her vet and behaviorist think she will be happier and less anxious in a home and neighborhood that has less activity. She is only loving and incredible with her friends and family (both human and dogs), but is extremely reactive with strangers. She loves medium and large dogs to play with, but dislikes small breeds.

It's hard to part with our dog, but our situation has changed and he deserves an owner who can meet his needs. He's well trained. Loves playing fetch with sticks, going on walks and lounging around. He is not a family dog. He's not mean or aggressive with the children he would just rather be doing dog things and is in-different towards them. He needs an owner who likes walks and will give him the attention he is craving. He's an amazing guard dog and will keep your home safe. Despite his strong appearance he is a sweet loving dog who love to play.

Hello, Lady is a pure bred Dalmatian. She is a lovable, energetic and cuddly dog. She is about a year and a half old. After a divorce and working long hours and change of home and exhausting our options. We are in an apartment where they do not except dogs. She does not do well with kids as she does have a bit history with our child. However, again she is very protective and lovable and playful.

Meet Gemini Born in March 2022, Gemini is one of the two smaller pups from the original litter of five. Her flat coat is a mix of white, brown, tan, and gray. Gemini will be a fantastic canine companion for the lucky family who adopts her as your one and only. She's always happy to greet you and extra sweet and gentle. She's patient and tolerant. She wags her tail and takes treats ever so delicately. She wants to make friends with everyone she meets. Gemini has come a long way since arriving at the shelter. She's grown more confident and enjoys going for walks and exploring the world outside the shelter gate. Slow and steady is the way to go with Gemini, letting her take her time. You'll love looking into her soulful, loving eyes. Gemini will do best with a single person or a family with gentle, respectful children at least 10 years old since she will grow to be a larger dog. She'll do best in a home with a fenced yard so she can run and play and/or with a family dedicated to giving her exercise walks. After a DNA test, we were surprised to learn test that Gemini and her siblings are 50% Great Pyrenees, 14.3% Bluetick Coonhound,13.7% Chow Chow, 11.7% Labrador Retriever and 10.3% German Shepherd. Royce was living most of his day alone in a small crate in an apartment. A START II volunteer rescued him when she found out the terrible situation he was in. But Royce is at the shelter 7 months which is so unfair. Royce is a typical smart husky puppy (around 1 year) with lots of energy. He needs a fenced yard at home to run around. Now that he found his freedom that is what he loves to do. Kids in the home should be at least 10 since he will grow to be pretty large. Husky are a unique breed so we are looking for a family with previous husky experience. Royce is up to date on shots, neutered and heart worm negative. Baylee came to the shelter in March with her sister Haylee and is about 2 years old as of April 2023. She's a typical hound, tri-colored with a beautiful black saddle on her back. Baylee is friendly and loving and enjoys going for a walk and exploring. She's learning to walk nicely on leash in her harness. She'll be a terrific family companion and is the perfect midsize dog. Still young, Baylee will thrive with daily walks and a fenced yard to play in. Children in her home should be at least 7 years old. Because of her prey drive, Baylee will do best in a home without small animals. Baylee is up to date on shots, heart worm negative, and will be spayed before adoption.
