Story
Barney Boy! Barney is the middle of the three siblings. He is funny, cute, smart, endearing....not pushy, not needy.... Barney is the biggest in size of the three siblings but he doesn't know it. He does not use his size and weight against his older brother Fred. He doesn't know that he is bigger and stronger than him. When he is done playing, he is happy to grab a toy and play with it all by himself. But, he LOVES to jump in and out of the kiddie pool with his brother and other dogs older and bigger than him. He loves to play with dogs and pups of all ages and sizes. And once he is tired, he is GREAT about choosing any kennel and catching a nap. I am sure he would also like to hang out on the couch with his human. He loves food and is not picky about it. His potty training is coming along nicely but considering his young age, his new family needs to know that this will be on going work until he is completely potty trained. Barney has all 4 parvo shots, bordatella shot, and rabies shot. He has been dewormed several times. He is neutered and has been tested and treated (if needed) and retested for coccidia and giardia. He is chipped. Barney is ready to bring some LOVE into your life! All animals receive a health certificate (stating that a licensed veterinarian saw the pet and deemed it healthy for travel, but is not a promise of perfect health). Please email for an A.M.O.R. application in order to be considered. Please note: this pet is located out of state.

Story
Chip, Chocolate Chip, Chip-a-ronie!!! Chip had a family from the time he was 6months through 1year old. The family was neglectful of this sweet and loving guy. Not enough time was spent with him to teach him good doggie manners. So, during his time at the rescue, he has learned that jumping on people is NOT good. He has learned the word NO. He has learned to "sit". He is now kennel trained. He has learned that being on a schedule is a good thing. He has learned to share his space with other dogs and puppies of various sizes and ages. He can still accidentally step on a smaller puppy because he doesn't know how big/tall he is. Chip loves to play keep away with the other dogs. He also loves to be chased. He does like to run after a ball but still hasn't learned to return the ball. He loves jumping in and out of the three kiddie pools. He loves chasing dragon flies. He is an amazing athlete...for that person looking to do some agility fun. And Chip is THE BEST road trip partner!!! His favorite spot is to ride in the passenger seat. But, he is also happy to ride in the back seat as long as he can have his face as near as possible to you. Chip is potty trained. He has never made a mess in his kennel nor inside the house. He is now kennel trained. When he needs to potty and he is inside his kennel, he does alert with a whine. He sleeps the whole night in his kennel. During road trips, in the hotels, he would lay on a comfy chair and sleep the whole night with no accidents as well. He is happy to pop out of kennel as early as 8am Once he exits his kennel, he quickly makes his way to the back door. Happily runs outside and straight onto the grass to his business. Chip is very well socialized with other dogs and puppies of various sizes and ages. Chip needs work walking on a leash. He can pull and will need a family that is willing to work with him on this. Chip has all four parvo shots, bordatella shot, and rabies shots. He has been neutered and chipped. He is dewormed several times. And he has been tested, treated (if needed), and retested for giardia and coccidia. Chip is also on a heartworm preventative Iverhart and flea and ticks preventative Simparica. Chip is ready to be a part of a family. All animals receive a health certificate (stating that a licensed veterinarian saw the pet and deemed it healthy for travel, but is not a promise of perfect health). Story
Brenda Baby!!! Brenda is an amazing, loving, playful and energetic baby!!! She is all about the baby talk, the loving, the cuddles, and running, sniffing, and ....ZOOMIES!!!! This also means that she will need her family to understand that she needs work to learn how to sit and focus. Her family needs to understand her teething needs as well because she is still a puppy. Being a puppy though she is highly trainable and eager to learn! Brenda also needs her family to complete her potty training and leash training. She is doing very well not going in her kennel. But, still needs work understanding to go outside while on leash. And she does still have accidents if left in the house too long without her being supervised. As a puppy, Brenda gets along with ALL DOGS. She is a fast learner and learns cues from other dogs regarding being dog socialized very fast. Brenda is a sweet, rambunctious baby and goofy. Brenda has been spayed. She has all four DAPP shots. She has her bordatella shot and rabies shots. She is chipped. Brenda has been tested, treated (if needed), and retested for giardia and coccidia. And she is on heartworm and flea and ticks preventative. She is also kennel trained and has been socialized around dogs of various ages and sizes. Brenda is ready to join her family and brings lots of puppy LOVE and FUN into your lives!!! All animals receive a health certificate (stating that a licensed veterinarian saw the pet and deemed it healthy for travel, but is not a promise of perfect health). Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Wesley Dude! Wesley is obviously not your typical looking husky. He has a signature ONE BLUE EYE. That may be where his huskiness begins and ends... Wesley is a sweet natured boy who is super happy to always see you and be right by your side. He is not going to smother you nor is he a Velcro type. He does like his walks because he has the cutest bounce to his step when he is walking. He is keen to take them with you. And he is curious about everything around him but understands that walks are about walking TOGETHER. He does not pull on his leash during his walks. Sweet guy!!! He is not really interested in being around very young puppies. He is already a mature adult. But, he is good around neutered males and all females. He is not interested in being top dog but at the same time he doesn't like to be bullied by another male dog. I don't blame him...nobody likes a bully! Wesley's life has been a very hard one based on the condition of his teeth. Maybe he had to eat rocks to help him feel full because many of his teeth are ground down. Poor guy. And he is a bit on the skinny side so hopefully his new family will love to fatten him up with yummy treats! Wesley is looking for a family to have nice walks with and then have some warm comfy cuddle time. He has done well with kids ages 6 years old and up. Wesley is kennel trained. And as long as he has regular walks outside for potty breaks, he is good about doing his business outside. Wesley has been neutered. He has 2 DAPP shots, bordatella shot, and rabies shots. He has been dewormed several times. He has been tested, treated (if needed), and retested for giardia and coccidia. He is chipped. He is also on heartworm and fleas and ticks preventatives. Wesley is currently undergoing heartworm treatment. He will be ready to join his family in mid-April. Plenty of time to get ready for him! All animals receive a health certificate (stating that a licensed veterinarian saw the pet and deemed it healthy for travel, but is not a promise of perfect health). Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Nugget... She was exactly that when she first came into the rescue. Just an itty bitty little nugget of fur. She came in as a 3-4week old puppy at maybe 5 pounds. She had a hearty appetite for puppy formula and for wet food. And then the weight start to come on and she started to grow into the beauty she is today. And finally, she graduated into puppy kibble. Once she was allowed to play with the "BIG" puppies, she never looked back. She plays well with all sizes and ages of dogs and puppies. And now as one of the "BIG" pups, she LOVES playing with the little puppies! One of her besties is an 8pound little terrier named Henry! As soon as Nugget was ready for adoption, we found that she had a cyst in her haunch. And it quickly grew. The cyst was lanced and it was removed. And antibiotics were given orally and injected into the cyst. Then as soon as that cyst was taken care of, the other haunch developed a cyst. Well, this time her vet decided to give her more time for it heal with just antibiotics. And sure enough, all is now well. Both cysts are gone and she is NOW ready for adoption!!! Nugget has kennel training. She quickly runs into a kennel at bed time which is 10pm. She sleeps quietly all night long until 8am. At 8am, she is super happy to come out and run towards the backyard door, exit, and run to her spot in the grass. During the day, she enjoys cuddle times on the couch with her people. She enjoys wrestling and playing with the dogs. Now, at nap time, she would prefer to sleep on the couch. But, she has not quite learned that after nap time, is also a trip outside to pee soon after. Her family will need to understand that she will require continued work with her potty training. First year of puppyhood is always two steps forward and one step back.... Nugget is ready to be a beautiful, loving, and loyal companion in her family. She is happy to be near you but not smother you. She is not needy but definitely enjoys being near her family. Nugget is smart and secure in being by herself because she trusts that at some point she will be cuddled and petted. Nugget has been spayed. She has her rabies, bordatella, and all four parvo shots. She has been on heartworm preventative since the age of 6 weeks. She is also on fleas and ticks preventative. She has been tested, treated (if needed), and retested for giardia and coccidia. She has been dewormed multiple times for a healthy gut and immune system. She is also chipped. Nugget is at the perfect age to join her family. She is ready to be a lifelong and most loyal member in her family. All animals receive a health certificate (stating that a licensed veterinarian saw the pet and deemed it healthy for travel, but is not a promise of perfect health). Please email for an A.M.O.R. application in order to be considered. Please note: this pet is located out of state.
