Story
Kahlo and Zapato arrived in our care through no fault of their own, along with a few of their siblings, after being rescued from a home environment that simply wasn't fit for pups. Despite a difficult start to life, these two gentle souls have absolutely no mean bones in their tiny bodies. They are sweet, resilient, and ready to find a fresh start in a quiet, loving home where they can truly blossom. Because they lean on each other for comfort and security, Kahlo and Zapato are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. Kahlo (The Brave Brother): Kahlo is the more outgoing of the two. While he can be a little shy when meeting new faces, it doesn't take him long to warm up and show his sweet, affectionate side. He acts as the ultimate security blanket for his brother. Zapato (The Sensitive Soul): Zapato is a bit more reserved and is still learning that the world can be a safe, kind place. He takes comfort in his brother’s confidence and needs a little extra time, patience, and gentle reassurance to build trust with humans. Watching Zapato watch Kahlo for cues is incredibly heartwarming. Kahlo shows Zapato that it's okay to trust, and day by day, Zapato’s true, sweet nature shines through a little more. This special pair will bring so much joy, quiet companionship, and love to the right home. To help them thrive, they are looking for: A calm and predictable environment with a gentle daily routine (a busy, hectic household will likely be too overwhelming for Zapato right now). A patient adopter who understands that trust takes time and is willing to let Zapato progress at his own pace. A home without very young children, given their small size and shy nature. If you have a quiet home and a heart big enough for two incredibly sweet, deserving boys, Kahlo and Zapato are ready to reward your patience with a lifetime of devotion.Adoption Fee $750Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 8, 2026, 5:25 pm

Story
Miguel is a charming, active boy who hasn't let life’s hurdles slow him down one bit. Miguel came to us looking for a second chance, and he is tackling his new adventure with a wagging tail and a curious spirit. Miguel is a true explorer at heart. He loves wandering around the yard, taking his time to map out every corner with his nose. While he does have cataracts and doesn't see perfectly, he navigates his surroundings like a pro—he gets around just fine and doesn't let his limited vision keep him from enjoying the great outdoors. Here’s what makes Miguel special: Affectionate: If you’re looking for a way to his heart, back scratches are the magic key! He’ll lean right in and soak up every bit of attention. Social Butterfly: He is an incredibly sweet boy who gets along beautifully with the other pups at the rescue. He’d love a home where he can hang out with friends. Resilient: Despite his past, Miguel is full of life and ready to bring a lot of joy to a lucky family. Miguel is looking for a home where he can feel safe, explore at his own pace, and receive all the back scratches he can handle. If you’re looking for a loyal, easy-going companion, Miguel is ready to meet you!Adoption Fee $375Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 8, 2026, 5:25 pm

Story
Looking for a happy-go-lucky companion to complete your family? Meet Noah! He is an absolute sweetheart and a certified 'good boy' who is officially on the lookout for his perfect forever home. Noah is a wonderful, well-rounded pup who brings joy wherever he goes. Whether he’s zooming around the yard or hanging out with his favorite humans, his happy personality shines through. Why You’ll Love Noah: The Ultimate Social Butterfly: Noah absolutely loves the company of other pups! He could thrive in a home with a canine sibling to play with or regular playdates. Outdoor Enthusiast: He has a great appreciation for a good yard. Noah loves nothing more than stretching his legs, catching some sun, and burning off a little energy running around outside. An All-Around Great Guy: Noah is incredibly adaptable and would do well in just about any loving home environment. Noah’s Ideal Match: Because Noah can be a little vocal when he has something to say, an apartment or condo setting won't be the right fit for him. He just needs a spot where he can express his enthusiasm without worrying about the neighbors! If you have a yard for him to enjoy, a heart full of love, and maybe a fur-sibling for him to wrestle with, Noah is ready to pack his bags and move right in.Adoption Fee $495Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 8, 2026, 5:25 pm
