Story
Little Miss Flower looks like a big dog that shrunk in the wash, but she’s full of charm. At just 1.5 years old, this adorable 40-pound mix of Staffordshire Terrier and French Bulldog is a bundle of joy. She loves her walks, wagging her tail excitedly and occasionally doing little skips of happiness. Flower can be shy at first, warming up more quickly to women, though she’s gaining trust with men as well. Once she knows you, she becomes the cuddliest and most loving dog, eager to show off her “sit” and “paw” in exchange for a treat. If you have the patience to get to know Flower, you’ll gain an amazing friend for life She well worth it Professionally trained and house trained, Flower is lovely on a leash and enjoys playing with rope toys. She gets along well with calm dogs and is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccinations. Meet Marley! 🐾 Marley is a beautiful 5-year-old female Rottweiler, weighing about 55 pounds (and a bit more lately thanks to some extra treats!). She was purchased from a pet store as a puppy and has been a beloved companion ever since. This gentle girl has grown up around toddler children and absolutely loves people. She has a calm, affectionate personality and walks wonderfully on a leash. Marley also enjoys her toys and simply being close to her humans — she’s the perfect mix of loyal and loving. Story
Introducing MURPHY!✨ Murphy has got it ALL going on! With stunning looks, charm, and fierce loyalty, there’s not much more one could ask for in a four-legged companion. Did we mention he’s EXTREMELY housetrained, gets on with dogs of all sizes, and has impeccable leash manners? He’s pretty close to perfection if we do say so ourselves. At 2 1/2 years old (his birthday is September 11), Murphy recently rejoined the rescue after he was adopted as a puppy during the pandemic. Like most puppies who were adopted then, he had only been exposed to the people in his home, so when it came time for him to meet new people, Murphy didn’t know how to react. . His family felt it was best if he came back to Posh, so here he is. He’s been making new human friends and doing EXCELLENT! He’s ready to join a new family, preferably in the suburbs (city life may be too exciting for him.) Please fill out the application at this link https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/POSH/Dog

Story
Meet Cami – Your Sunshine in Dog Form! ☀️ Hi, I’m Cami (short for Chamomile) — a 3-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier weighing in at 50 pounds of pure love! At the rescue, I’m known as the resident sweetheart because my tail never stops wagging and I greet everyone with the happiest smile. I’ve got the perfect medium energy level: I enjoy long walks, swimming (yes, I’m a pool girl!), and hopping in the car for fun adventures. But I also love curling up beside you for cozy cuddle time. I sometimes get a little nervous if approached too quickly, so slow introductions are always best for me. With calm energy, I’ll warm up quickly and be your loyal best friend. I’m house-trained, well-mannered, and I’ve even gone on sleepovers with volunteers — earning the title of perfect houseguest! I get along well with other dogs (my best buddy here is Cookie, a big playful 80-pounder), but I’d be just as happy as your one-and-only cuddle companion. I’m spayed, up to date on vaccines, and all ready to meet my forever family. 👉 Apply to adopt me here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/POSH/Dog

**Gemma is a courtesy post and is not located at or affiliated with Paws Crossed Animal Rescue What a pretty ‘lil lady! Say hello to Gemma, a 9-year old, 49-pound Beagle mix, sporting a happy-go-lucky disposition to match her adorably smiling face.Easy-going with other dogs and friendly toward humans, Gemma is an overall calm and confident dog who doesn’t look for drama or trouble. She enjoys greeting pups while out and about, and doesn’t fear unfamiliar faces. Gemma is good on a leash, she loves being outside, and if you allow her time to sniff things, she’s beyond thrilled.Gemma is 100% housebroken and is well-behaved inside the home. Being the sophisticated lady that she is, Gemma prefers doing her business on grassy areas as opposed to cement or dirt. Hey, she likes to keep her paws fresh and clean!Intelligent and eager to please, Gemma responds to a host of commands, including sit, come, stay and lie down. And being a foodie doesn’t hurt. Show this girl a treat and you’ve got her undivided attention! When Gemma is chilling at home, she’s pretty much a couch potato who likes being pet, taking naps, or relaxing with you while you work or watch TV. But don’t let her age fool you. As mellow as she is, show Gemma her leash and she’s ready to get up and go! The best of both worlds! This sweet angel is easy to look at, easy to care for, and most importantly, easy to love. Yeah, she sure is something special! If you would like to adopt this wonderful dog, please email rescue@pupstarzrescue.org or visit www.pupstarzrescue.org for an application! September 24, 2025, 1:28 am

Story
**Casey is a courtesy post and is not located at or affiliated with Paws Crossed Casey, previously referred to as Nana (like the nanny dog in Peter Pan) is a 100lb border collie/Great Pyrenees mix who was recently moved across the country with his family and has become very anxious with his new neighbors living so close by, so he is looking for a forever home. Casey’s anxiety is now heightened by his juvenile companions (a 2.5 year old and 6m old), so he would like a quieter home without children. He’s selective with other dogs and needs slow introductions, but he loves to play with dog friends. He is crate trained, house trained, neutered, and mostly good on leash. He loves watching squirrels. Needs a strong handler who knows what they’re doing, he’s barrier reactive and has some fear aggression. Please contact Danielle dls.whitt@gmail.com with adoption inquiries. October 14, 2025, 2:02 am
