Story
Bishop is an ABSOLUTLEY amazing companion, it is with a heavy heart and a lot of thinking, id like to rehome him to someone with more time and experience. He is a big beautiful mush very friendly with adults, unknown with how he does with children since he has never been around any. He will come with a ton of treats, a kennel, standing food and water bowl, his current food (dry and canned) toys and his vaccine papers. I will also provide a list of everything that he loves or needs help with. He is a full bred GS (i dont have his papers because his breeder wanted insane money for them and i didnt plan on breeding him). He currently lives with just myself 25yr old male no kids moderately active. his energy is very chill, but when i rowl him up or take him hiking or running he shows his true colors. I can tell you all about him if you reach out to me at (xxx) xxx-xxxx . I wont be overly intrusive but i will respectfully ensure he goes to a loving owner.

Story
Boots is an incredible animal. He is a full grown Silver Shepherd. Like Rin Tin Tin. He’s Silver and black. He’s very intelligent. He s a talker. He’s a worker, and he needs attention like all German Shepherds. He’s great with other animals. He’s great with kids. I’m heart broken that I had to move and I dont have a proper place to keep him. He needs someone with a yard and preferably another dog. He needs to be walked everyday and needs someone to play with him. He’s the ultimate protector and security guard for your home. He loves to be loved and he loves to have a job. He needs to be with a family or a person who has experience with this bread. He’s the greatest companion you could ever ask for in a dog. For anyone who loves German Shepherd’s and can provide a loving home suitable for a dog of this size, Boots will melt your heart.

Story
Meet Lana! Lana is our special “work in progress”. She arrived to us as a pup that had zero socialization with people. She was petrified of being touched. Always backed into the corner. She has come a LONG way, but still has a bit to go. She’s now silly and always has a smile on her face. She now wants to be with people but still not sure about being handled. You can lay with her and pet her, but once you stand up, she’s off! Lol. Lana runs to you with a big smile when you walk in the door, but doesn’t quite stay long enough for a good pet. She will need an adopter with patience to let her come around on her own, it will take time. Lana is 10 mos old. She’s housebroken and crate trained. Lana loves other dogs. We would say no young children, only because they lack the patience and understanding Lana needs. Email us at adopt@onelovedogrescue.org with any questions.

Story
Lily got some presents from Santa!🎅 She did not get her furever home 😞, but we are hoping if everyone keeps sharing her story, it will happen soon! 🙏🙏 Lily is currently living by herself in a basement studio apartment 😞. She is let out a few times a day. Lily loves toys! Please EVERYONE SHARE LILY’s story. She needs a holiday miracle. We need to reach that one special person that will open their heart and their home to Lily! We know that person is out there, we need to reach them soon!!!! Basically, Lily is a one or two person dog. Definitely prefers women. She will LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her person. She just needs to be put away when other people come over, she has some fear based anxiety around new people. If you have questions or would like to meet Lily, email us at adopt@onelovedogrescue.org, we will answer any questions you have.

Story
Meet Mickey! This handsome little guy is 5 yrs old and all of 9 lbs. Mickey is housebroken and good with smaller sized dogs. Mickey was returned to the rescue by his adopters after almost 4 years! His adopters said he was “perfect” for over 3 years. Then he began to develop some anxiety which heightened when the grown children returned home from college. Growling, biting at them. Also began to do it with the husband. Their vet referred them to a behavioral vet, to which they declined and decided to just give up on him. Mickey has been in his foster home for a couple months now. We did follow through with a behavioral vet. He was started on a mild anxiety medication. He is doing really well! His issue is totally workable with a little patience. We do believe his issues were partly due to his environment. Mickey is ready to go into his FOREVER home. With patient adopters he will be the best dog! Email adopt@onelovedogrescue.org
