Story
Cynthia is a stunning three-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog with the sweetest soul. Used as a breeding dog in her past, Cynthia didn’t get the love, care, or positive human interaction she deserved. Because of this, she is timid and fearful, especially around people but beneath that fear is a heart full of gentleness and quiet hope. She finds her greatest comfort in the company of other dogs and would do best in a home with a calm canine companion to help guide her. Cynthia is spayed, fully vetted, and has done well both in the car and at the vet. While she may be scared, she is incredibly cooperative and kind. Cynthia doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. She just needs someone patient and gentle who will help her learn that not all people are going to hurt her. With time, love, and understanding, this beautiful girl will continue to blossom. Cynthia is ready to begin her new chapter. One filled with safety, trust, and unconditional love. Please email Theredbarngoofynewfyrescue@gmail.com for additional information or for OUR application!

Story
Meet Reuben – the Gentle Giant in Recovery Reuben is a two-year-old male Mastiff who is currently on a journey to healing, hope, and a forever home. This sweet boy came to us extremely underweight and suffering from several skin infections, but despite everything he’s been through, Reuben’s spirit remains gentle and full of love. He’s been nothing but kind to everyone he meets—people, dogs, and even the vet staff. Reuben gets along wonderfully with both male and female dogs in our care and shows a calm, respectful demeanor in all his interactions. He rides well in the car and is currently working on perfecting his leash skills. While Reuben still has some healing to do, he’s gaining weight, receiving the medical care he needs, and soaking up all the love he can. With a little time and a lot of love, this gentle giant will be ready to find the forever family he’s always deserved.

Story
Application Link: https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/ARH-A-165 Adoption fee is $360 All dogs are fixed, up-to-date on age appropriate shots and micro-chipped. Eclipse came to us out of a drug house with her sister. Her owner wanted to reclaim but was not able to pay for basic care or medical. She was starved, full of parasites and not fixed. All that has been taken care of and she is now thriving. Good with dogs, people and kids, not cats.
